And at that time, We made the Kaaba a place of good deeds and security for people. Make yourselves a place of worship in the post of Abraham. We ordered Abraham and Ismaeel, “for those who perform circumambulation, who stay there in order to pray and for those who pray there, keep My house clean.”
Tafsir
When Hazrat Adam came to the site of the Ka'bah, he wanted to worship. Allah sent him a pillar of light and he worshipped standing against it. This pillar of light continued until the time of Hazrat Shit. Then this pillar disappeared and a four-walled building was built in its place. This building remained under the sands for a long time with the flood of Noah. Hazrat Ibrahim and his son Ismail found the Baytullah and rebuilt it. Allah (swt) said, "O Ibrahim! Call my servants here. When Hazrat Ibrahim said, "O Lord, how far will my voice go and how can I make it heard?" Allah (swt) said, "You call and I will make it heard.
The Baytollah is being built as a place of reward. The meaning of a place of reward is that the Baytollah in its current form is located in Mecca in the Arabian peninsula, in the Saudi territory. The meaning of Makkah is burning, which means the destroyer of sins. What is meant by the place of reward is that the servants of Allah who come here for pilgrimage will have their sins burnt away, and they will be cleansed of them, and they will be burdened with a burden of reward, and they will be as if they have just been born from their mother. It is also a place of rewards, a place of safety for the servants of Allah.
Once upon a time, the king of Yemen attacked Makkah with his army of elephants. Allah (swt) sent the birds of Babel against the soldiers of the elephant armies with stones in their mouths called siccin (hell fire) and destroyed them, and at the same time in Surat al-Tin, He informed us with His Verses that people were safe in Baytullah by saying (wa hazel municipalityil amin), that it was a safe town.
(After circumambulating the Baytullah, pray at the place of Hazrat Ibrahim.
Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail were commissioned by Allah (swt) to maintain and clean the Baytullah. Since it was Allah's command to keep the place clean so that those who came to the Baytullah for pilgrimage could pray and those who stayed there could perform their worship in cleanliness, Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail took on the task.
Since the Baytullah is the literal and metaphorical Bayt of Allah (swt) on earth, it must of course be kept clean in a manner worthy of its glory. It is for this reason that this clan, from the descendants of Prophet Abraham to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), undertook the care and cleanliness of the Baytullah.
What is said in the video
We have come to Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 125. If you have any questions about this, we will answer them. We will answer your questions.
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 125: And at that time We had made the Kaaba a place of reward and safety for people. And you, take a place of prayer from the station of Abraham.
This is an obligation.
How is it an obligation? Whoever has the means and goes on Hajj, at the Maqam Ibrahim two (?). if he does not pray them, he has not fulfilled the obligation. That is why all pilgrims of Abraham, opposite the door of the Baytullah, the Baytullah, at the place called the Maqam Ibrahim, pray two rak'ahs. They fulfil this obligation. The verse — let us read what it says. And at that time We had made the Kaaba a place of reward and safety for people. And you, take a place of prayer from the station of Abraham, it says. We commanded Abraham and Ishmael: for those who circle My House, who stay there for worship and who pray, keep it clean.
It is from the secret of this verse that Mecca the Honoured, keeping it clean in Mecca the Honoured, falls to the Saudis. In truth it falls to the Sayyids, but the Sayyids have been driven away from there.
If a Sayyid is there and becomes known, he is treated with great respect. Very well. He is given a place to sleep. But he is not kept there; he is sent away. The reason: people would follow him, and the monarchy would be in danger.
Yes.
When Adam came to the site of the Kaaba, he wanted to worship.
Allah sent him a pillar of His light. He performed his worship standing facing it. This pillar of light remained until the time of Seth. Then this pillar disappeared, and in its place a building of four walls was made. This building lay under the sands for a long time after Noah's flood. We went over this part skipping here and there. So why does He send Adam a pillar of light? Why does it remain until Seth? Why are four walls built in its place? Let us open this up a little for you. Adam (peace be upon him), I mean, let me put it this way, our father Adam, while he was in Paradise, used to circle this Baytullah, which was a pillar of light.
When he was sent to the world, he called out to Allah Almighty. My Lord, that pillar of light I circled while in Paradise, send it here so that I can again circle it for You, he says. That is, let me perform my worship facing it, he says. Upon that, Allah Almighty sends down the Baytullah, that pillar of light, to its present place, just as it was. This pillar remains until Seth (peace be upon him). One day Seth (peace be upon him) sees that in its place there is a black stone, and the pillar of light is gone. Since Seth (peace be upon him) knew the width, length and height of the Baytullah, — he knew them — he puts a building of wood in its place as a representation.
And the black stone, the stone we now call the Hajar al-Aswad, he puts in its corner. He knew its place. He puts it in that corner. It remains like this until the time of Abraham. But because many ages pass, it ends up under the sands. So Allah commands Abraham: Uncover My House, build it, He says. That is this part. The part I went through skipping a little. Let me read it again. Since I have explained it, you will understand it better. When Adam came to the site of the Kaaba, he wanted to worship. Allah sent him a pillar of light. He performed his worship standing facing it. This pillar of light remained until the time of Seth.
Then this pillar disappeared. In its place four walls, a building of four walls, was made. This building lay under the sands for a long time after Noah's flood. Abraham, with his son Ishmael, finds the Baytullah, and they rebuild it. Allah Almighty says: O Abraham, call My servants here. Abraham says: O my Lord, how far will my voice reach, how can I make them hear? And Allah Almighty says: You call. I will make them hear, He says. The calling is yours, the making heard is Mine, He says. Yes.
He tells me too to bring out the (?). How far will my voice reach, to bring out the (?)? But how beautifully He makes it heard. He makes it heard to the world through the internet. Through the internet. He makes it heard to the world. This is Allah's power. He calls no one (?) to account whom He has not let hear it. The Baytullah is rebuilt as a place of reward. As for 'place of reward': the Baytullah, in its present state, in Saudi territory on the Arabian Peninsula, is located in Mecca the Honoured. The meaning of Mecca is 'the burning one'. What is meant is that it destroys sins, and so it is called Mecca, that is, it is called 'the burning one'.
So what is meant by 'place of reward' is that the servants of Allah who come here for Hajj are cleansed of their sins as they are burned away, (?), and take on a load of reward upon themselves.
As the place of taking on a load of reward, it is made known as a place of reward. At one time the king of Yemen, with his elephant armies, attacked Mecca the Honoured. And Allah Almighty, the Ababil birds, against the soldiers of these elephant armies, with the stones called sijjin in their beaks, with hellfire, against the elephant armies sending them, destroying them, and also in Surah At-Tin, and by saying 'Ve hâze'l-beledi'l-emîn', calling it the secure land, that people in the Baytullah are safe, He made known to us with His verses.
Yes.
When the king of Yemen came near Mecca with his elephant armies, of the grandfathers of the Prophet (peace be upon him), it must be Abdulmuttalib.
Isn't it him, Abdulmuttalib?
He was responsible for Mecca then. He sees that he will come with the elephant armies. The people here will perish. He takes the people and goes up the mountain.
This king of Yemen shouts: Weren't you the king of this place? Weren't you the owner of this House? I mean, its trustee. You were to protect it. Why did you flee, he says. It is something you cannot protect. He says: I am not charged with protecting the House. The House has an owner. He protects the House, he says. I am charged with protecting the people, he says. Thereupon Allah Almighty, to protect the Baytullah that He owns, the Ababil birds too, not — with sijjin, hell stones in their beaks, with that fire called sijjin, strikes the elephant army, with the people on it, together with its elephants, and brings it down to the ground.
These are exactly as with the people of Lot, as it was, just as He destroyed them with stones, that what He calls (?) clay, as He destroyed them with stones; in fact these are exactly, tuned to people's frequencies, striking missiles. This is how you should take it. Striking missiles. Which missile will hit which person? Programmed. Today, can we not hit the place we (?) with missiles? We do. When we set them to frequencies, we hit.
One of them even runs away, goes in among a people, pulls the quilt over his head and hides.
That Ababil bird finds him there and strikes him. Well, what is this if not a missile? With this frequency, him finding him there and striking him — what is that? It does not hit anyone else. It hits him. Yes. And you, take for yourselves from the station of Abraham a place of prayer. After circling the Baytullah, at the station of Abraham pray. Abraham and Ishmael, so that the upkeep and cleaning of the Baytullah could be done, were charged by Allah Almighty. So that those who come to the Baytullah for Hajj could pray, and those who stay there could perform their worship in cleanliness, keeping it clean was a duty by the command of Allah Almighty, and so Abraham and Ishmael took on this duty.
Since the Baytullah is, outwardly and figuratively, the House of Allah Almighty on earth, it must of course be kept clean in a way worthy of His glory. It is for this reason that, descending from Abraham, down to Muhammad (peace be upon him), this line sought the Baytullah's upkeep and cleanliness.
