Then, after this, you will certainly die.
Tafsir
So He created human beings as souls in the realm of Lahut. He made a covenant with our souls. He made our spirits witnesses against our souls so that they would not say that we did not know about this covenant. Then He sent us to the realm of property. He wrote our covenants as our destiny. As a result of our living in the realm of property, Allah (swt) made human beings witnesses to His Essence. Then, after a given lifetime, he will kill us, our bodies.
What is said in the video
Then surely after this you will certainly die, it says. That is, we came to the world, we lived, we proved what kind of person we are. Then surely after this you will certainly die. Where He says: every soul (?) death, and your return is to Me. So man was created in the realm of Lahut, as souls. He made a covenant with our souls. So that they would not say they knew nothing of this covenant, He made our souls witnesses against our nafs. Then He sent us to the realm of Mulk.
He wrote the covenants we had given as destiny for us.
Our living in the realm of Mulk; as a result of our living, Allah Almighty made people bear witness before Himself. Then, after a given lifespan ends, us, that is, our bodies, He will make die.
Now in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, look what it says; let's find this place now. In Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172.
these are wrongly explained verses; let us first read the wrong version, then correct it: so that on the Day of Resurrection you would not say we were unaware of this, your Lord, from the children of Adam, from their backs, took out their offspring, took their offspring out from their backs, made them witnesses against themselves. The fools anyway: whether it means in the world, in the hereafter or in the mother's womb is not clear, they say. Did I see Allah in the world? The child in the mother's womb, Allah (?)? So (?) He made a covenant there with that child, with ones who know nothing of themselves?
Pardon?
He made them witnesses against themselves and said: Am I not your Lord? Am I not your Lord, He said. Now one must pay great attention to the words. To the word. When He says, am I not your Lord, while He creates me millimetre by millimetre, I am to see myself, how I was created. After seeing it, when I deny the one who created me, I will say... Allah Almighty will say: Did I not create you?
Isn't that so? Whereas there He created our souls, millions of people. However many will come to the world. Set up robots all with the same signals, press the button; set up millions of robots like this, put all their, sir, frequencies on one remote control; when you press it, all of them at once will come alive. Right? There they will start moving. Likewise Allah Almighty created our souls; there is a sudden coming-alive of ours there. In this case Allah Almighty uses a definite word. Elesti. A definite word. I created you. And that there it was this way, in Surah Al-Waqi'ah, verse seven: Ve küntüm ezvâcen selâseh. All the pairs, coming one from another, three classes, it says.
Ve ashâbü'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbü'l-meymeneh. O people of the right, glad tidings to you. O people of the left, woe to you.
A third group, the group of the sabiqun, it says. The group of saints, prophets, martyrs, (?). Now look at the (?) of the verse here. Does it resemble the way these people explain it? Ve iz ehaze ahet nesli Rabbüke min benî Âdeme He made a covenant with Adam. Min zuhûrihim. Look, what does it say? Zuhurihim: will emerge. Look, will emerge: zürriyetihim. He made a covenant with those who will emerge from his offspring. Here, yes, He made a covenant with the offspring that came out of his back. Where? In the beginning. Will emerge. With those who will come out of his back, who will emerge, He made a covenant in the beginning.
Where? In the realm of Lahut. Where did you skip this zuhurihim to? Look, it says will emerge. Fine, it will come out of Adam's back. It says will emerge. It hasn't emerged yet. What does it say after that?
Sir, and eşhedühüm, it says. He made them witnesses. Alâ enfüsihim: against his nafs. Elestü bi rabbiküm: I am your Lord, He said, it says. It is this definite, I mean. This. This definite. How do you explain this, making it up like that? Yes. And that is not the topic; we said let's open this up a little. The topic now: according to this verse, Allah Almighty's... let us read its, er, things. What does it say? So that you would not say on the Day of Resurrection, we were unaware of this, on the Day of Resurrection, the offspring who will emerge from the children of Adam He made witnesses against themselves and said: I am your Lord.
And they said: yes, we bear witness to this.
Let us open this up a little too. If they said we bear witness, if they said yes, did these deniers not deny here? No. Where? They denied there too. He said yes. Now let us open up this yes for you.
Allah Almighty gave each soul one that would know it had been created: a mind. He gave a mind. There, when the souls suddenly came alive, when He said I am your Lord, all our souls there, that is, our true being, said: yes, I was created. That is the yes he said. A Lord created me. If He had given a mind that would not have the thought, a Lord created me, Allah would take on an attribute. That is why they said yes. That is: I was created. That is what this yes is. Not that he said yes there and so did not rebel here. No one has the power for this. Because everyone's destiny was written in proportion to his covenant, in proportion to his intent.
So Allah Almighty programmed the worlds. There is not a single living being to come until the Day of Resurrection of whom We do not know what he will not do: He also made this verse known to us. So all these worlds are programmed. So what does it say now? Let us read it again, now that it has been opened up this much. So that you would not say on the Day of Resurrection, we were unaware of this, the offspring who will emerge from the sons of Adam He made witnesses against themselves and said: I am your Lord. And they said: yes, we bear witness to this. Or: before, our fathers associated partners with Allah.
We were a generation that came after them. We followed in their footsteps. So now He means the world. Will You destroy us because of those who did falsehood? So that you would not say this, We did so, it says. That is, We made a covenant with you, man, in the beginning, He says. Don't point to the world, He says. With what you saw from your mother and father, with what you did, He says. Don't, sir, blame Me. I made a covenant with you beforehand. What, man? With your true being, your essence that will remain forever, with you you made the covenant. I placed those natures in you. When you came down to the world, I sent you prophets, books, scholars, He says.
Meanwhile, Satan was your enemy too. Not the scholars I sent you: you took Satan as your guide, you turned your back on Me. And you turned the bright paths into darkness. left yourself in darkness. Today, He says, this is your punishment, He says. Don't blame Me at all, He says. Be quiet, you, He says. Yes. That is why, He says. That is why We made a covenant with you here, He says. Yes. Whatever a person's essence is, that will emerge in him. If tar boils, it says, will it become sugar? (?) sugar, it says.
Yes.
