Such it is. And, when someone responds by the same degree that the way he got oppressed and transgressed against, should know that Allah will certainly help. Verily, Allah is Ghafoor (Most Forgiving) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).
Tafsir
This is how Allah (swt) makes His Verses to gain strength. In other words, He states it clearly and precisely that there is nothing beyond this. In this respect, since there is retaliation in Islam, a person can oppress another person to the extent that he has been oppressed and take his right from him. But whoever is persecuted, even though he is being persecuted and he is getting what is due to him, then Allah will help the persecutor.
Nevertheless, Allah is very forgiving and merciful. If a person is wronged and gets what is due to him, and then is wronged again, and the wrongdoer fears Allah for his wrongdoing and repents, Allah will accept the repentance of the wrongdoer and forgive him. And He will give to the oppressed as much as pleases Him. Allah is forgiving, forgiving, merciful.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Hajj, verse 60.
Look how beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. That is so, He says. I mean, when He says "that is so", for example, let's say (?) tells us something. And I say, no, it's not like that, it will be like this. That is so, I say. I mean, it's certain. Certain. That Allah's mercy is certain. That is so. Whoever retaliates with the equal of the harm done to him, and after that is wronged and oppressed, should be sure that Allah will certainly help him. Truly, Allah is most forgiving, pardoning, He says.
I want to draw your attention here. We live through these things too, but we don't see them. In fact, we live through them.
Let's read the verse again. Whoever retaliates with the equal of the harm done to him,
(?) hit me with his shoulder. Or slapped me. I'll hit him with my shoulder too. Or a slap. Its equal. Its equal. Yes. After I apply this retaliation, if the one opposite me then wrongs me, Allah against that wrongdoer takes the side of the wronged one, and surely puts the transgressor in his place. Now nobody pays attention to the events that appear before our eyes. Everyone sees it as an event; it comes and goes. I'll tell you about our state.
And the companions of the left, ashab al-mash'ama, the leftists.
When these came to head the state, drought appeared. There is thirst. There is torment. There is injustice and unfairness. There is a deep state. There is this and that.
But when someone who says "Allah" comes to lead us, there is abundance, there are rains, there is provision. Allah sends rain upon rain. Well, isn't Allah helping the one who says "Allah" here? Must He appear before you and say, here's water for you, here's (?) for you? This is help. But people can't see this.
They attribute it to Ahmet or Mehmet.
Now people who, at Allah Almighty's address "Alastu bi Rabbikum", rebelled and had their destiny written as rebellion against Allah, that is, written as people of kufr — their hearts are restless and scattered, it says. Now when abundant peace is showered on them, when justice is showered, outside the life they're used to, the one restlessness gave them, they lose themselves. They talk nonsense.
And without seeing the truth, to suppress the (?) of their own inner rebellion, they become enemies of the people who have Allah, the giver of peace, behind them.
We see it, don't we? It's real. It's real. In this case, when an official like themselves comes to lead them, they think they're living, and like the flower of the zaqqum tree blooming in a swamp, without realizing they're in a swamp, they run after the nafs and lust, living with the desires of the world, what the world desires, or rather the nafs desiring the world, and unable to reach that desire either, they keep being squeezed in a life like a vise, on and on. They live on and on in restlessness. And then they lash out left and right. Allah gives such people an example in His verse. Such people, He says, even if you go at them, pant the way a dog pants with its tongue out, they pant and pant, He says.
Yes. When it stands still it pants, and when it barks too, He says. Its tongue is out all the time, He says. Yes.
So the verses: whoever retaliates with the equal of the harm done to him, and after that is wronged and oppressed, should be sure that Allah will certainly help him. Truly, Allah is most forgiving, pardoning.
Only, one must be patient, listen patiently. Allah Almighty, so that His verses gain strength, says: that is so. I mean, We stand behind what We say. According to the verse "Who is truer to his word than Allah?", with the verses always supporting one another, our Lord, with His oneness, His existence, His majesty, His greatness, in keeping with the word He gave, with faithfulness to His word, sets such a beautiful example for us, an example.
Isn't Allah complete and perfect anyway? Perfect. Wasn't the Prophet sent for good character? Since the Prophet was sent for good character, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq says: O Messenger of Allah, how many of Allah Almighty's traits of character do I have? And he says: you lack either six or seven; with that much character he was bound. That is our Lord's sharia ruling, for us a symbol before us of Allah Almighty's character; if we bind ourselves by it, we become servants worthy of Him. If we step outside the sharia ruling, we become like the roaming four-legged animals on earth.
If you seek honor and glory, honor and glory are with Allah — these are the equivalents of His verse saying so.
I mean, there is nothing beyond this. In its meaning He states it certainly and clearly. In this respect, since there is qisas in Islam, a person may do to the other as much wrong as was done to him and take his right from him. But whoever, though wronged and having taken his right, is then wronged, after that Allah helps the one who is wronged.
Yes.
Even so, Allah is most forgiving and merciful. If a person is wronged and takes his right, and then is wronged again, and the wrongdoer fears Allah for the wrong he did and repents, Allah accepts this wrongdoer's repentance and forgives him, and to the wronged one He gives from His side until He satisfies him. So Allah is pardoning, forgiving, merciful.
Now you could ask me a question here,
about what I've just explained. And to the wronged one He gives from His side until He satisfies him. So Allah is pardoning, forgiving, merciful. If you ask, is there a verse for this — I always speak what corresponds to the verses anyway. My saying this means nothing. I need to show a verse.
In the hereafter, on their faces neither a stain nor grief will settle, He says.
Who are they? The awliya, the friends of Allah. Don't they make mistakes? They do. Do they unknowingly take what is owed to others too? They do. Well, this is Allah's friend, His servant. But Allah doesn't forgive what is owed to others, right? What will we do in the next world? So that no stain is smeared on His friend's face, He will call the creditor who has a claim on him. You have a claim on him. True. I didn't create people free of error. That's true too. He made a mistake unknowingly, wronged you, or died and was gone before he could come and apologize to you. Your right remained on him.
Your right on him, as a right, is this much. He doesn't deduct it from His beloved servant. This much. Take it, He says. Plus, because you're pleased with him, this much more for you, He says.
Allah gives to the person on the other side until He has satisfied him. This is Allah's mercy that saves people. Remember, He says, I kept 99% of My mercy for Myself. 1% of it I sent to the world, He says. Yes. In this case no grief will touch him either. What is it? His mother died as a Muslim, his father as a Muslim, his loved one as a Muslim, but as sinners they went. Bound for hell. He will intercede for them. He will give a friend of Allah the right to intercede for seven up to seventy people. Well, is there a right of intercession? If you ask, yes, there is. Which verse it is, I can't recall right now, but that verse is on the phone.
In Surah Ad-Dukhan, too, Allah says: He will give you and you will be pleased. Allah will give you and you will be pleased. Well, let's see if I can find it here now. God willing, I'll find it. That station of intercession too Well, notes edit Here it says notes.
It's separated. This has changed too.
Something else is coming up here. Yes.
Al-Baqarah 255. One moment.
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 2. 255 — Surah Saba, verse 23. Look what it says now. Let's read Surah Saba, verse 23.
Surah Saba, verse 23. Pay attention. In Allah's presence, on the Day of Resurrection, at the supreme court, a person — in Allah's presence, the intercession of none but those He permits will avail. There's your station of intercession. Shall I read it again? Listen well. In Allah's presence, the intercession of none but those He, that is Allah Almighty, permits will avail anything. I mean, Allah Almighty will say to His friends, to those whose faces grief touched: take. Three people, five, seven, ten, however many, up to seventy, take them and go, He will say.
Apart from that, let me take some too. No. Only what Allah permits. Who are these? The righteous servants who attain the station of intercession.
In Allah's presence, the intercession of none but those He permits will avail. Finally, when fear is removed from their hearts, they say: What did your Lord say? They say: He said the truth. He is the Most High, the Great. Yes.
What we say is always the equivalent of the verses, words. Words from one's own mind with no verse behind them — those who write them. Read every sentence: it's the equivalent of the verses. Yes.
Here we are.
