Translation

(Allah) Said: “Very soon, they will certainly be in regret.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) revealed to His Prophet: Surely they will soon regret it. So their Prophet was patient with good patience. Allah does not destroy a people out of the blue. He first sends them Prophets, Books and warners. If these people ignore these Prophets, Books and warnings and continue their transgressions and excesses on earth, Allah gives them a time. When that time expires, He will send His command to the transgressing tribes. Surely Allah's command to these people is the command of destruction.

Many tribes were given such warnings by their Prophets, but these people, who were a group of wrongdoers, did not relent. Allah Ta'ala taught these people the lesson they needed to be taught and made them serve as an example to the generations that followed them. He has also narrated these events as a history, informing people of the truth and asking us to fear Allah and worship Him. Blessed are those who draw lessons from these and become servants of Allah.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 40. Allah said: Very soon they will surely regret it. Alas, it is over, the decision has come from Allah, that is, the people of destruction, the destruction order. Not the people of destruction, the order of destruction. To the people, the order of destruction. Yes. Allah Almighty revealed to His prophet thus: Surely they will very soon regret it. Thereupon their prophet was patient with a beautiful patience. From now on, beautiful patience falls to the prophet. That is, Allah Almighty, in such a situation too, has counselled His prophets. The counsel: while the prophets are doing their duty, those who oppose the prophets, or to those who oppose the scholars, well, when the scholars tell them the ruling, that is, Allah's command, and meet with denial, they call it unease, that is, an unease arises in their work.

In that case, toward Allah Almighty, a state as if he had not been able to convey his duty arises, and before Allah Almighty he feels small, ashamed, as though he had come to be committing a sin. In this case he lays his situation before Allah Almighty. And when Allah Almighty says: Be patient, they will see very soon, the person finds peace. He understands that he is with his Lord. Yes.

Surely they will very soon regret it. Thereupon their prophet was patient with a beautiful patience. Allah does not destroy a people for no reason. First He sends them prophets, books, warners. If these peoples pay no heed to these prophets, books and warners that were sent and continue their rebellion and excess on earth, Allah grants them a time.

When that time is up, He sends His command to the peoples who transgressed the limits. Surely these peoples, Allah Almighty says: surely, for these peoples, Allah's command is the command of destruction.

Many peoples were warned like this through their prophets. But these people, a community of wrongdoers, did not mend their ways. And Allah Almighty taught these peoples the lesson they deserved and, to the generations that came after, displayed them as examples to take heed from. Isn't there one for us too? Before our eyes. In our time, before our eyes. Pharaoh's body. Well, We will, today We will save your lifeless body. We will leave it as a lesson for the worlds, it says. Yes. And the English, in the Red Sea, well, search for his body and find it. Now look at what happened. One really cannot comprehend this.

Know that Allah's promise is true. Know also that Allah exists. Because Allah's command is true, go and search for this in the Red Sea and find it. But do not enter Islam. Still, outside Islam, keep associating partners with Allah. This cannot be. This is not a matter of reason either. This is the feeling, in the human heart, toward Allah Almighty, of resentment, and the person's feeling, toward Allah, of superiority.

At the address 'Elestü bi Rabbiküm' too, these people, these people, themselves, opposite them, when they saw our Lord, who created us, in human form, toward Allah Almighty they held themselves great and did not believe in Him. They waited for the Lord of their imagination. So their wishes and desires, their aims, were written for them as destiny. Yes.

Also, by telling these events like a history, who? Allah Almighty, by telling these events like a history, has made the truths known to people, and has asked us to fear Allah Himself, to be servants to Allah and to worship Him. What is the meaning of worship? Of worship. We will not worship in the Hereafter. There is no worship in the Hereafter. Then why is there in the world? The meaning of worship in the world is this. We will explain that anyway. Why is there no worship in the Hereafter?

Worship means: I have submitted to the command of my Lord who created me. My Lord created me; that is, it means: to Allah, besides whom there is no other god, who is the absolute Owner and Power of the worlds, the only Creator in the worlds, to Him I have submitted. I made what He said my principle, I said He is my Creator and my Great One, I proved this in the world. Since I attain Paradise in the Hereafter, worship is lifted. What happens? I already came to know Him. If I knew Him, there is no worship there any more. If one dies, what is there? There is life there from then on. For example, this world is the likeness and shadow of the Hereafter.

Isn't it so? Allah Almighty says so in the verse. Now, in this case, the state has a president. Do we worship him? No. It has a prime minister. Do we worship him? No. But that state has a law. We obey the law. So with Allah Almighty too: there, since He reforms our nafs, we are, by the laws of our Lord, one hundred percent bound, and there is no more crime there. Well, He will program us with an additional program, and we will only behold Him there in admiration, sometimes in a week, sometimes in a month, sometimes in a few months, sometimes in a year. We will see Him. We will visit. Just as the President and the prime minister go to cities and, with the people in those cities, make contact, talk and converse, so Allah Almighty too, since this world is the likeness and shadow of the Hereafter, will talk with us there and converse with us.

Yes. And we will long for those days. May He come again, so that we see Him and meet with Him. Yes.

Also, by telling these events like a history, He has made the truths known to people. He has asked us to fear Allah Himself, to be servants to Allah and to worship Him. How fortunate are those who draw lessons from these and become servants of Allah, we say.
