Finally, that terrible blast (of sound) seized them. We made them turn in to a stubble. Far away shall stay, the nation of oppressors!
Tafsir
When the Prophet asked for help from Allah (swt) and Allah (swt) gave them a deadline, the command of Allah (swt) became inevitable for these people who continued in their rebellion. When the time came, one of these two tribes, either the people of Hadrat Hud or the people of Hadrat Salih, perished with a single sound. In fact, both of these two tribes were destroyed by a sound of Allah's command. That terrible noise caught them and they fell on their knees in their places. Allah likens their corpses to the sweepings of a flood. He informs us with an example that they have no value in the sight of Allah, just as an object brought by a flood that is in the form of rubbish has no value, and when He says that their souls will go to hell, He is declaring that these are the people of eternal hell, without any helper or intercessor.
What is said in the video
To Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 41, we have come. Thus an awful cry, whose occurrence was inevitable, seized them. That was it, it was over. And lo, it came. What did it do? Destruction for the people. The prophets of the peoples who are to be destroyed, Allah Almighty takes out from among those peoples. He destroys those who are to be condemned to that punishment.
When He destroyed Salih's people as well, Prophet Salih, together with those who followed him, had moved away from his people. As for Lot (peace be upon him), in his time no one other than his family around him believed in him. Except for his wife, who stayed behind, them too, well, Allah Almighty took out from among them, and He destroyed the rest of the people. Thus an awful cry, whose occurrence was inevitable, seized them; We immediately turned them into flood debris. To Hell with the wrongdoing folk, it says. Allah protect us, Allah Almighty's curse, Allah Almighty's curse: to Hell with the wrongdoing folk. This, let us not even call it a curse: our Lord's inevitable sharia ruling, the application of the sharia ruling. Whoever in Allah and His Messenger does not believe, whoever is not governed by the books Allah sent, then of course, to Hell with him.
This is Allah's verse. That is, when you say verse, His command. Just as, if we act against a state's law and commit a crime, off to prison with him. And here, as the prison, it says Hell, the place of punishment. To Hell with him. May Allah protect us from such an end.
Thus, in view of the Prophet asking Allah Almighty for help and Allah Almighty granting this people a term, for these people who continued their rebellion Allah Almighty's command became inevitable.
When the time of its occurrence came, one of these two peoples, either the people of Hud (peace be upon him) or the people of Salih (peace be upon him), was destroyed by a cry and was gone. They had collapsed onto their knees like this. Onto their knees, and the traces of the people of Salih, in Saudi Arabia, near the city of Tabuk, on the hills,
well, are there, say those who have seen them. Their traces still exist there, and on their knees, where they sat, they collapsed onto their knees like this. Well, they perished there.
The people of Salih (peace be upon him) were destroyed by a cry and perished. Indeed, both these peoples, by a cry that was Allah's command, were destroyed.
