Translation

Then, We’ve made other generations emerge.

Tafsir

After Allah (swt) destroyed this group of wrongdoers, He brought other people after them. Allah (swt) is always giving examples to people and by these examples He is telling them to turn to Him. However, the life of this world and the ego are obstacles to people turning to Allah. People put their own desires above the commands of Allah. People are mentally incomplete, they make mistakes, they think they are right according to their intellect, and they move away from Allah.

Everything has an end. Just as life has an end, this universe will also have an end. The end of the universe will be the Day of Judgment, followed by the inevitable Day of Reckoning. O human being! Do you prepare for that day of reckoning? Do you continue your worship and worship by embracing Allah's commands without being enslaved to the desires of your ego? Do you long for a good life in this world as you long for a good life in the Hereafter, our true homeland? Do you remember death and think that you will be held to account before Allah? Do you avoid the haram and turn towards the lawful? Do you take lessons from the destruction that befell the people of old and turn to your Lord? Those who do not think about these things and do not take lessons from them are wronging their souls.

May Allah include us among those who are servants to Him, those who love Allah, those who turn to Taqwa, and those who are like such people.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 42. Then after them We brought forth other generations, says Allah Almighty. Yes, then after them We brought forth other generations.

After Allah Almighty destroyed this community of wrongdoers, other peoples came after them.

Allah Almighty will surely not leave the earth without people. He created the earth for people. So that He sends them to an unseen realm. Why will He not leave it without people? Allah Almighty created our souls. Well, He made a covenant with us at the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm. He took our souls up to the realm of barzakh. From there, sending people into the world, which He calls an unseen realm, a realm where His essence is not seen, He will make people, regarding Himself and their own selves, bear witness. He will make them bear witness. Well, in this case, in this case, after destroying the transgressors on the earth, Allah Almighty will of course send new ones in their place.

So after destroying this community of wrongdoers, Allah Almighty brought other peoples after them. Allah Almighty constantly gives people examples, and with these examples makes known that people should return to His essence. For although Allah Almighty treated people with mercy and compassion, because people cannot get out of the characters in their own nature, after those destroyed peoples Allah Almighty says this in His verse, in one verse: although only a short time had passed over those destroyed peoples, how they came to resemble their forefathers, He says. Again, those who denied Allah Almighty at the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm will again come to the earth and they will deny.

Yes. Allah Almighty constantly gives people examples, and with these examples makes known that people should return to His essence. However, the worldly life and the nafs are, for people's return to Allah, each an obstacle. The worldly life and the nafs. That is, in Allah Almighty's verse, regarding what He names your enemies and the enemy of Allah, against that: the enemy of Allah, my nafs, Satan, the world; these, the nafs (?). Satan, and in the world, destined for Hell. Against this there are friends. Allah Almighty's inspiration against Satan, against (?), faith, and also reason. Yes. If a person is a friend to the friends, he finds the Friend; with the enemy (?).

Yes.

Allah Almighty constantly gives people examples, and with these examples makes known that people should return to His essence. However, the worldly life and the nafs are each an obstacle to people's return to Allah. People hold the desires of their nafs above Allah's commands. Created deficient in reason, people make mistakes and, following their reason, consider themselves right and move away from Allah.

Everything has an end, just as life has an end. This universe too will have an end. The end of the universe is the coming of the Last Hour, and after it that inevitable Day of Reckoning will come. O man, are you preparing for this Day of Reckoning? Yes. What a sad thing. When a person goes on a journey, the things he will use on the trip and, at the place he is going, his hotels, he has them reserved. He takes his belongings with him, his money he puts in his wallet, takes his bank card with him, his bank book with him, takes precautions, so that he is not left exposed and bare at his destination he makes his preparations. And man, if this worldly realm is a likeness and shadow of the Hereafter, look, good people, why, since you will go to the realm of the Hereafter, do you not prepare accordingly?

Why do you oppose Allah's command and insist on going to the place you will go stark naked, hungry and thirsty? Now, this reasoning of yours, is it reason? Now, are you reasonable?

A reasonable person is one who thinks of his future and acts accordingly. My future in the world will end anyway. My real future is the realm of the Hereafter. So with every step I take, with every breath I take, I am with my Lord together. If, to fulfil His command, you strive not to do anything wrong, if you strive not to do wrong, mistakes will surely still be made. Our reason is deficient. Then, since deeds depend on intentions, Allah Almighty, for the step you took, even for a wrong step, will still give you a reward. Yes, these things we must calculate well. O man, are you preparing for that Day of Reckoning? Without being a captive to the desires of your nafs, holding fast to Allah's commands, do you continue your obedience and worship?

Just as you long for a good life in this world, in the realm of the Hereafter, our true homeland, do you also desire a good life? Remembering death, do you reflect that you will be called to account in Allah's presence, do you? Can you turn to the lawful by avoiding the forbidden? Can you return to your Lord by taking lessons from the destructions that befell the old peoples? Those who do not think about these and take no lesson from them have done wrong against their own selves. May Allah join us among those who are servants to His essence, those who love Allah, those who turn to piety, among such people.

Amen.
