Translation

They worship things other than Allah about whom Allah has not sent any proofs and about whom they themselves do not possess any knowledge. And the oppressors don’t have any helpers.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has proved through His Verses that He exists in such a way that every human being can comprehend His Essence. People who deny Allah, by their denial of Allah, extend their denial of Allah to the Lord of their own imagination. They make idols accordingly and worship these idols. However, the objects they worship are made and shaped by their own hands. Then they take it as a god. However, Allah has not sent any proof that these would be gods. Moreover, the people who worship them have no knowledge of the idols they worship.

It is only by disbelieving in Allah without having any knowledge that people disbelieve in Allah, by worshipping His creatures, that they disbelieve in Allah. When people are in the darkness of shirk against Allah (swt), they are cruel to their own souls. In addition, people who are deprived of the light of Allah are cruel to those around them because their hearts have become hardened and their feelings of compassion have disappeared.

Such wrongdoers, deprived of Allah's mercy, will have no helper or intercessor in the Hereafter. They will be alone on the Day of Reckoning.

Those who exchange the worldly world for the Hereafter, those who abandon the eternal abode of bliss for a few hours of pleasure in this world, are buying Allah's Hell, the abode of eternal torment. Such people have no share in the Hereafter. Even if they have done good deeds in this world, they are wasted in addition to denying Allah and the Hereafter. Their good deeds are like a person who is threshing in a strong storm at the threshing floor to separate the wheat from the chaff. The storm takes away his wheat along with the chaff, and his efforts are wasted. Such is the worldly life of the disbeliever. Their good deeds will be in vain.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 71 of Surah Al-Hajj.

They — who are they? Non-Muslims. Abandoning Allah, they worship things for which Allah has sent down no proof, and about which they themselves have no knowledge. Stones, soil, trees, metals, what they made with their own hands — they worship them. Allah Almighty created man very honourable, and so that man could govern himself and make decisions, He gave him a partial will. He gave him a fine mind.

If man does not use his mind, like a bewildered duck, he begins to go backwards. In this case, since confused people will commit offences, their hearts are constantly scattered and restless.

Because Allah Almighty says so. Their hearts are scattered and restless.

Had he used his mind, objects he made with his own hand he would not worship. If you ask them: we do not worship these. Then what? We put the spirit of the Lord we imagine into it and worship that, they say. And to people who think this way, Allah Almighty answers with His verse like this:

They will not see their Lord.

People who do not understand these verses try to explain this verse like this:

They will be resurrected there blind and sightless. When they say this, they also deny this verse. Let us see what the verse says.

In Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12 — look what it says — to those who say they will be resurrected there blind and sightless, Allah Almighty says in Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12, the following: If only you could see the time when those sinners, in the presence of their Lord, will hang their heads: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard, now send us back to the world and let us do good deeds, now we truly believe — when they will say this, it says.

So where is their being resurrected blind and sightless? Another group says this: they say something like: Allah Almighty will be seen like this in Paradise. Whereas the verse 'they will not see their Lord' symbolizes tawhid, tawhid. It symbolizes La ilahe illallah. That is, there is no god besides Allah for them to see the Lord they imagine. If there were another god besides Allah, one would take what he created, and the other would take what he created, and everything would drown (?), He said.

That means that those people who do not use their minds, by worshipping idols made with their hands, worshipping the creations of Allah and turning their backs on Allah — foolish and senseless people — worship things about which they themselves have no knowledge at all, it says. For example, let's say: how was a pear tree created? He has no knowledge of it. And you go and worship it.

Or worship stone and soil. He has no knowledge of it. How was it created? Yes. The wrongdoers have no — the wrongdoers have no helper at all. From the wrongdoers, Allah Almighty, in the hereafter, at the Great Tribunal, will remove His mercy; they will be left there alone and forsaken, alone and forsaken. Since all the verses confirm one another, the wrongdoers have no helper at all; for the wrongdoers, long live Hell. Yes.

Allah Almighty, so that every person can grasp His essence, has proven with His verses that He exists.

People who deny Allah, by denying Allah, shape a Lord in their own world of imagination.

Accordingly, they make idols and worship these idols. Yet people make with their own hands the objects they worship and shape them. Then they take it as a god. Yet Allah has sent no proof that these would be gods. Moreover, the people who worship these have no knowledge about the idols they worship. So, without this knowledge, solely through their denial of Allah, by worshipping Allah's creations, people continue to deny Allah. People being in the darkness of shirk against Allah Almighty is their wrongdoing against their own nafs.

What a person does to himself, the two worlds, even if they came together, could not do. What does this mean? Even if the two worlds came together and rolled you in a barrel of needles, in the end it is death, and you are freed. But if you wrong your own nafs, if you yourself wrong yourself, if with your partial will you turn your back on Allah, if while in the life of this world you buy the torment of the hereafter, the wrong that you do to yourself, the two worlds together (?) could not do.

Without any knowledge, solely by their denial of Allah, by worshipping Allah's creations, people deny Allah. People being in the darkness of shirk against Allah Almighty is their wrongdoing against their own nafs. Moreover, since the hearts of people deprived of Allah's light have hardened and the feelings of mercy in the heart have disappeared, they are also cruel toward those around them. They have no feelings of mercy either.

Today we are living an example of this. While Islamic states embrace their migrating brothers, the non-Muslims treat these migrants cruelly, close the border gates, strip them of the gold and rings they have and oppress them; against this background, these people, devoid of human feeling, have, sadly, set up a court. And they called it the Court of Human Rights.

Tyrants who are deprived of human rights, who have no mercy in their hearts, cannot have a human rights court.

Yes.

Such wrongdoers, these people deprived of Allah's mercy, have in the hereafter neither a helper nor an intercessor. Because for people from whom Allah Almighty has removed His mercy, no one will intercede.

To those who say that, other than Allah,

Allah Almighty has given no one the right of intercession, I want to read a verse.

Surah Saba, verse 23 — pay attention. Surah Saba, verse 23. Look what it says: Allah Almighty — in the presence of Allah,

while everyone gives account at the Great Tribunal, the intercession of anyone other than those He permits will be of no use.

What does Allah Almighty say? Let us read it once more. Look what it says. Surah Saba, verse 23: In the presence of Allah, the intercession of anyone other than those He permits, that is, those Allah permits, will be of no use. Allah Almighty will give a saintly servant of His the right of intercession for from seven to seventy people.

Finally, when fear is removed from their hearts, they say: What did your Lord say? They say: He said the truth. He is the Most High, the Most Great. When they say He said the truth, what does it mean? It refers to the verse: who is truer to his word than Allah?

So those who swap this world with the hereafter, who for the world's few (?) pleasures and enjoyments the eternal abode of bliss abandon,

buy Allah's Hell, the abode of eternal punishment. Such people have no share in the hereafter. Even if they did fine deeds in the world, beside their denial of Allah and the hereafter those have gone to waste. Their rewards are like a man who, in a strong storm, on the threshing floor, threshes to separate the wheat from the chaff. This storm carries off his wheat along with the chaff, and the toil the person put in goes to waste. Such is the worldly life of the unbeliever. The fine deeds they did also go to waste. Because what does Allah Almighty declare? All the fine deeds they have done have gone to waste.

Someone who does not know himself, deliberately or unintentionally: today, electricity, who discovered it? (?) Thomas Edison. Edison. Edison.

He says this. And how does he discover it? He discovers it while wanting to talk by telephone with the person beside him. Electricity.

He asks like this: Is Edison too, who discovered electricity and serves humanity today, bound for Hell, he asks. Of course, we do not know how a person went to the hereafter. If he went as an unbeliever, then we answer our question like this.

Why did Allah Almighty bring us into the world? (?) So that we know our Lord.

Not just a world full of good deeds —

even if it were thousands of worlds full of good deeds.

I repeat, understand this well. Even if he had this world full of good deeds, even if he had thousands of worlds full of good deeds, if in return he had denied a single verse, or had denied Allah, or had denied Muhammad (peace be upon him), against that, all his good deeds have gone to waste.

Yes. because Allah, the Creator, created human beings as addressees of His essence, so that His essence would be known. He was a treasure; He willed to be known. What treasure? A treasure of knowledge, a treasure of learning. So, for His essence to be known, He created us. He created human beings.

Well, do the angels not know His essence?

Besides humans, the jinn are included in this too.

Beings who have been given their own will have been left free to know or not to know Allah. As for the others, the whole universe, including the angelic realm, are all programmed. In a way that they cannot leave our Lord's program, they perform their duties. Since humans and jinn, by their own will, have been left free to know or not to know Allah, they are responsible within their own will. So, because Allah Almighty, by also giving man of His spirit, created man very honourable, and because He gave his own will, man's own will, into his own hands, He has left man within his own responsibility.

In this case, if man, within his own responsibility, turns his back on the Truth, there in the hereafter he is left alone. He is left forsaken. Yes, and the good deeds they have done will have gone to waste.
