Tafsir
When the Verses of Allah (swt) are recited clearly to the disbelievers, displeasure appears on their faces. Those who disbelieve in Allah do not want to listen to the Verses of Allah. Even though their intellect grasps the truths in the Verses, because of the rebellion of their souls, they are overwhelmed by the Verses of Allah (swt) because they are not interested in them. They also become enemies of people who recite the Verses of Allah. When Allah (swt) makes a covenant with mankind, those who make their covenant as disbelievers, those who disbelieve in Allah, boast of their disbelief in the worldly world among their followers as if they have won a great victory. Therefore they do not want to listen to the Verses of Allah. They become overwhelmed because it is not pleasing to their ego.
In fact, these people, those who disbelieve in Allah, almost out of anger, walk up to the people who are reciting the Verses and want to attack them in order to take revenge on these oppressed people whom they do not know. In this case, such people think that they are taking revenge on Allah. However, Allah is the Giver of life to the worlds. Allah is (Alhamdulillahi Rab'bil alemin). He gives life to every soul through the various emotions He has given to human beings. Every soul bears witness to Allah throughout its life.
Say to these people who, in such anger, want to attack those who recite the Verses of Allah, O Messenger of Allah! Say: Shall I inform you of something worse than this anger of yours? Hell. Hell is sufficient for such people as a place of torment for those who disbelieve in Allah. They will not escape from it, nor will they perish. They buy an eternal life full of pain, suffering and anguish by denying Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Qur'an. In this state, they are the regulars and inhabitants of Hell.
Hell is an evil place of return. And what an evil end it is. May Allah protect us from such a fate.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Hajj, verse 72 — we have come to this verse.
When Our verses are recited to them clearly — how beautifully it puts it — they are not being read clearly. Does Allah Almighty not raise a scholar, have him confirm the meanings of the verses with one another, and in the finest way, in a way people will understand, have him address them? Yes.
When Our verses are recited to them clearly, you perceive displeasure on the faces of the unbelievers, it says. I have lived this. I have lived it. When I explained, when I explained the truth, the man was as if deaf and mute, not hearing at all, and in a void, looking right and left. That is, he is going through a crisis, a crisis. They almost assault those who recite Our verses to them. Say: Shall I inform you of what is worse than this, than this anger and restlessness of yours? Than this anger and restlessness of yours.
Hell — Allah has announced it as punishment for the unbelievers. What an evil end it is, it says. Yes. To those who want to go restlessly and angrily at those who speak of Allah, it says: Shall I inform you of what is worse than this? It is, in return for that restlessness of yours, the Hell prepared for you, it says.
When Allah Almighty's verses are recited to the unbelievers clearly and plainly, displeasure appears on their faces. Those who deny Allah do not want to listen to Allah's verses. Even though their minds grasp the truths in the verses, because of the rebellion in their nafs, since Allah Almighty's verses do not suit them, they fall into distress. They also become enemies of the people who recite Allah's verses.
Isn't it so today? Are we not living the reality of this verse? A leftist, talking with a (?), because of a difference of opinion, that is, a difference in their state of faith, becomes that person's enemy.
Do you know me? No. Do I know you? No. Then, when I — the One who created me, my Lord — His verse, — the One who created you — our Lord's verses, when I make them known to you, why do you become my enemy?
Have I done anything to you? No. What am I? A messenger. Then why do you become an enemy of this messenger? Aduvvallahi ve aduvveküm. Your enemies and the enemy of Allah, it says. Because he is an enemy of Allah, he becomes your enemy too.
Yes.
When Allah Almighty made a covenant with people, those who gave their pledge as deniers, those who deny Allah, in this world, among their own followers, boast of denying Allah as if they had won a great victory, in front of one another. That is why they do not want to listen to Allah's verses. Because it is not pleasing to their nafs, they become distressed. When these go to their own followers: we, with them, it says, that is, with the Muslims, are only mocking them, it says, only ridiculing them. When they come to their own followers, what does it say? They boast, they find peace, they want to find peace.
Why? Because in a person whose heart is scattered and restless, certainly, in the face of the believer's faith, the light of faith coming from the believer's breast will crush the light of rebellion opposing it. In this case the person will be both restless and humiliated. So when they come to their own followers, within darkness, since those darknesses get along well with one another, something like relief comes about for them there. Like a relief. That is why they want to keep away from the Muslim who has the light of faith.
Today, in this situation, did our nation not live this in the past? With the headscarf cases, with not being admitted to universities, with their designs on the right of Islam, with such behaviour by people among us who say they are Muslims — which group those people belong to, sort it out very well in this situation.
Indeed, these people, that is, those who deny Allah, out of their anger almost march on the people who recite the verses and, these oppressed people they get hold of and do not know, they want to attack to take revenge on them. In this case, such people think they are taking revenge on Allah. Yet Allah Almighty is the One who gives life to the worlds. Allah, Elhamdülillahi Rabbi'l-âlemîn, provides life to every soul through the various feelings He has given people. And every soul, as long as it lives, takes itself as a witness to Allah. These people who want in such anger to attack those reciting Allah's verses — to them: O My Beloved! Say: Shall I inform you of what goes beyond this anger of yours, of what is worse?
Hell! Hell, as a place of punishment for those who deny Allah, is enough for such people. There they neither escape nor perish by dying. An eternal, everlasting life full of grief, pain and torment by denying Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Quran they buy. In this state they become the regular inhabitants and people of Hell. As a place of return, what an evil place of return Hell is. What an evil bed it is, and what an evil end. May Allah protect us all from such an end.
