Translation

And thus they denied them (Moses and Aaron), and became among those who were perished.

Tafsir

Although Allah (swt) showed miracles and invited these people to the truth, Pharaoh and his followers saw the truth, but they persisted in their stubbornness in not recognizing the truth. They did not compromise their pride and arrogance. They did not believe in Allah and His Prophets. In this respect, they have prepared their own destruction.

Finally, Pharaoh did not keep his promise. He had said that when Hazrat Musa won, he would be willing to release the people of Israel and send them with Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'. When Pharaoh's magicians were able to overcome Pharaoh's magic with the miracles of Allah, Moses was the victor. But the magicians also believed in the face of this truth. In the meantime, Moses left Egypt one night, taking his people with him. Pharaoh, hearing about this, pursued Hazrat Moses with his army, and when he caught Hazrat Moses at the edge of the Red Sea, by the miracles of Allah, Hazrat Moses struck the staff into the sea. The sea opens to two sides. As Hazrat Musa crosses the sea, Pharaoh and his army plunge into the opening in the sea. At that moment, Allah brought the two sides of the sea together and destroyed Pharaoh and his army. This is how those who do not believe in Allah and His Prophets, and in the truth of the resurrection after death, end up in a disastrous destruction, and in the Hereafter they will be subjected to torment and an eternal Hell.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mu'minun, we have come to verse 48. So they denied them, that is, they denied the Prophet and Allah, and for this reason they became among those destroyed.

The hurricane that flattened and scorched America today, entirely a skull. Teeth, eyes, its nose, mouth — a skull, and they are afraid. Just as the people of Salih awaited the cloud, Allah Almighty, with those storms, with those hurricanes, although He shows this openly to people, still

people do not see the truth and supposedly will take revenge on Allah. As if taking revenge on Allah, they turn their backs on Allah. Even if humans and jinn gathered together, they could not harm Allah.

In that case our return is to Allah. 'Every soul shall taste death, and to Me is your return' — the verse in which He says this we will come under. So those who commit injustice in this passing worldly life, those who follow the whims of their nafs, will of course give account tomorrow at the Supreme Court. Because Allah is the Judge of judges. No one will let anyone's right go. Yes.

So they denied them and for this reason became among those destroyed, He says. Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 48. Although Allah Almighty showed miracles and had these people invited to the truth, although Pharaoh and his gang saw the truth, they insisted stubbornly on not recognizing the truth. They made no concession from their pride and arrogance. They did not believe in Allah and His prophets. Thus they prepared their own destruction themselves. In the end Pharaoh did not keep his word. He had said that if Moses won, he would release the people of Israel and agree to let them go with Moses (peace be upon him).

Against the magic Pharaoh's sorcerers performed, Moses, prevailing through Allah's miracles, became one of the winners. But the sorcerers too came to believe in the face of this truth. Meanwhile Moses took his people one night and left Egypt. Why does he do that? We explain it briefly here. Pharaoh does not keep his word either. Despite his promise to free Moses together with his people — that he would increase his torment of them, leave them to even harsher punishments, and present Moses as the teacher of the sorcerers — does our Lord not know that? So He tells Moses: take your people at night and get out of here.

Moses takes his people and leaves.

In the morning, when Pharaoh hears that Moses has taken his people and gone, he goes after them with a few marauding horsemen.

At the Red Sea, just as he is about to catch them, Allah Almighty says: O Moses, with your staff strike the stone, strike the sea.

When he strikes the sea with the staff, it divides into twelve sections. (?) tribe, there are twelve tribes anyway. Each tribe knows its own (?) passage. Just as they cross to the other side, this time Pharaoh's army, Pharaoh, has come near the Red Sea. Into that opened gap, at the splitting of the sea, well, he too plunges straight in there. Because (?) and his people have crossed over, Allah Almighty drowns Pharaoh and the army in the middle of the Red Sea. So: 'Today I will leave your lifeless body as a lesson to the worlds' — in the face of this verse He spoke, today, although the whole world knows this, and the English, knowing that Allah's promise is true, prepared a fleet in England and searched the Red Sea for it, and although they found Pharaoh's lifeless corpse on a rock and took it away, they still rebel against Allah, do not turn to the religion of Islam, live as non-Muslim unbelievers; in this case, of course, despite seeing all the events, out of pride and arrogance, out of the grandeur of their own existence, they look down on Allah, do not pledge allegiance to Him, do not enter Islam — these people: 'long live hell' — for such people He says 'to hell with them', to hell with them.

Yes, like the rubbish a flood carries along, these live in the world as poor excuses for humans; in character — in form human, in character they are like four-legged beasts, because Allah Almighty addresses them this way: They are like four-legged beasts roaming the earth. Even, with some of their behaviour as they go on, they are more astray than animals, they say. Yes.

Meanwhile Moses took his people one night and left Egypt. Hearing of this, Pharaoh goes after Moses with his army. As he is catching Moses at the shore of the Red Sea, through Allah's miracles Moses strikes the sea with the staff. The sea opens to both sides. As Moses crosses the sea to the other side, Pharaoh too, with his army, plunges into the path opened in the sea. At that moment Allah, joining the two sides of the sea together, destroys Pharaoh and his army. So this is, for those who do not believe in Allah and His prophets, nor that resurrection after death is true, their end in a terrible destruction, and in the hereafter a lasting punishment and their being subjected to eternal hell.

Yes.
