If Allah’s favor had not been upon you, a group among them was determined to lead you astray. They will only lead astray themselves and they cannot harm you. Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom and has taught you that which you did not know. Indeed, Allah has bestowed a great favor upon you.

Tafsir

(Had it not been for Allah's grace and mercy upon you) and had you not been brought up by Allah Himself and protected by what you were taught, a group of them would have attempted to lead you astray. But with the knowledge and wisdom which Allah has taught you, only with you do they mislead themselves. Their fabricated plans which they devise among themselves cannot harm you. Are those who see and those who do not see the same? Because Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom.

That Book is the Holy Quran. Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the One who is aware of and knows what is in it before he entered the realm of property. When people begin to rebel against Allah and give their covenant in rebellion, they attack and attack Allah and those who come from Allah. The fact that those who do not know themselves try to take the Holy Prophet to their side and attempt to kill him is a repetition of what has been the custom of their ancestors since time immemorial.

In one of his hadiths, the Prophet (PBUH) says, "My Lord trained me and trained me well". Therefore, since our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was created from the light of the worlds, was raised by our Lord, there is no power and might other than Allah that can make him turn away from his Lord. The worlds are on one side and the Prophet (PBUH) on the other.

Again in the verse (Allah has taught you what you did not know and Allah's grace has been great to you). Those who cannot recognize the Prophet (PBUH), the source of guidance and light for all mankind, whom Allah raised and sent as the Prophet Hatemen, and those who try to fit the Prophet (PBUH) into their minds are like mosquitoes attempting to take over the property.

In this respect, the Holy Prophet (PBUH), with his intellect, knowledge, strength and might, with all his superhuman abilities, was created as the best of all creatures, and this state of being is a blessing and mercy of Allah upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

What is said in the video

Had it not been for Allah's favor and mercy upon you, a group of them had set out to lead you astray. A group of these unbelievers.

Yet, people misunderstand this verse. They misunderstand it like this: Had it not been for Allah's favor and mercy upon you, a group of them had set out to lead you astray. They think Allah protected him in this world. Yet Allah Almighty raised him (?). So, had it not been for Allah's favor and grace upon you, that is, had He not raised you there with fine character and fine knowledge, he too would fall into these people's traps, it says. Yes. It does not mean here that the Prophet went astray, or was about to go astray and Allah saved him. Because he came as a mercy to the worlds. Because he does not speak (?) either.

Yes. Had it not been for Allah's favor and mercy upon you, a group of them had set out to lead you astray. They lead only themselves astray. Of course. Now, if I had armor seven layers thick, and you, with an ordinary child's pistol, fired a single bullet at that armor, could that armor be (?)? Is that possible? Well, Allah's verses are such an armor. The weapons people have made in the universe cannot (?) that armor. That is not possible. That is not possible. That is why that faith, that spirituality, those people who long for their Lord, those righteous believers, people have clothed themselves in armor with their Lord's verses.

They cannot lead them astray. Look, what does it say in the verse? The temptation Satan gives to My servant who knows Me is (?), it says. (?) Well, the two-legged taghuts are Satan too, so the temptations they give are (?). Yes.

They lead only themselves astray. Because they have turned their backs on the verses. Because with their short minds their lower feelings appear right to them, and because Satan works together with their nafs, because in this world (?) appears to them, these have mortgaged their minds to the world, to Satan and to two-legged taghuts like themselves. They cannot break away from following them. They cannot harm you at all. They cannot harm you at all. Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom and taught you what you did not know.

Allah's favor upon you has truly been great, it says. Why? Allah Almighty's favor is truly very great upon the Prophet, and upon others it is not very great. He says it openly. What does He say? Allah's favor upon you has truly been great, it says. Allah Almighty has not bestowed favor on any created being as much as He bestowed on the Prophet. The reason: His Essence was an unknown treasure. He willed to be known. From His light, Muhammad's light, then He gave him of His spirit. He created him first. He intended him for His Essence.

And do you know what the Beloved of the Almighty, whom He would send as a mercy to the worlds, resembles? Take a king, a king. And the king's favorite, that is, his vizier. His vizier. Who could be as close to the king as his vizier? Or whose word could carry as much weight with the king as that vizier's word?

So Allah, Lord of the worlds, is so close to the Beloved of the Almighty, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as His Messenger and His servant, and so compassionate is Allah Almighty toward His Beloved, and so much does His Beloved long for Him. Yes. That is why, because he is the first created, the first, of course He will love him greatly. Allah raised him. What does he say? Your Lord raised me, and raised me well. Yes.

Had it not been for Allah's favor and mercy upon you, we say, had you not been raised by Allah Himself and protected by what you were taught, where? In the realm of the hereafter, in this beginning. A group of them had set out to lead you astray. It does not say they would lead you astray; they had set out to. But with the knowledge and wisdom Allah taught you, in your presence they only lead themselves astray, lead themselves astray.

As I said a moment ago, their words strike the knowledge in the Prophet's hand like that armor. They lead only themselves astray. They strike themselves with their own words. How will they strike? What they say is a crime; if a crime, a punishment. And the punishment, before their Lord at the great tribunal, is what He calls 'what an evil destination', the (?) of Hell. Has he not now struck himself? Perhaps he struck himself. Yes.

But with the knowledge and wisdom Allah taught you, in your presence they only lead themselves astray. The false, made-up plans they prepare among themselves cannot harm you. Can the one who sees and the one who does not see ever be equal? Because Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom. On earth as well.

No one can harm the Prophet (peace be upon him), our master. They caused him suffering. But they could not harm him with their traps. They tried to kill him in his house. He walked out from among them and left.

They pursued him. In the cave of Thawr. They came right up to the entrance. They turned back and went away.

In the battles, at Uhud, his tooth was broken, but still they could not harm him. It is true. It happens.

For this reason, even when his tooth was broken, an event takes place there. When the Prophet's tooth was broken, Allah Almighty said to the trustworthy Gabriel: O Gabriel, if the blood of My Beloved drips onto the ground, I will turn this world upside down on their heads. I, he says, how, he says, I made it in time. From the seventh heaven, how did you make it in time? I held my hand to his mouth, he says. Nowhere have I struggled as I struggled there, he says. Yes. No one, the Prophet (peace be upon him) has caused him suffering, but cannot harm him; harm means setting a trap for him and killing him just like the other prophets, which they cannot, or they cannot strike him. The only blow was by Abu Lahab; in Mecca he slapped him, his uncle, his uncle. And his hand withered.

He died. His corpse stank in his house. It filled with worms. They barely got into his house and buried his carcass in the ground. No one could pass by there for the stench. Surah Tabbat was revealed because of him. May his hands wither, He said. His wife, in that Hell, is a carrier of firewood, He said. Allah Almighty.

Yes.

Can the one who sees and the one who does not see ever be equal, it says? Because Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom.

That Book, of the Holy Quran, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), our master, before he graced the material world, was aware of its contents and knew them. The Prophet, as I said a moment ago, the Prophet was raised already in the realm of the hereafter before coming into the world; indeed some verses remind us of it, that He showed him some events of those in the past, and again in the verse: that We would give you this Book you did not expect, it says; you did not expect, that is, it comes to our mind that the Prophet thought the Holy Quran was very exalted and great and that this would not be given to people.

According to the verse. What does it say? You do not expect that We would give you this Book, it says. Then what does this mean? That He created man as the noblest of creation, that He gave him a portion of His spirit, that, since He did not separate man from His Essence and held man as addressee of His Essence, He gave him His Word. Yes. Man, as man, has great value in the sight of Allah. Man is the (?) of created beings. And he is the noblest of creation.

Just let people rebel against Allah and give their covenant as rebels. Where? At Qalu Bala. Then they attack and attack Allah and those who come from Allah. They attack and attack Allah and those who come from Allah, they attack. Because when they hear the word of truth they reach a state as if the clouds in the sky would burst, it says. That is how distressed they become. So the attempts of those who do not know themselves to draw the Prophet to their side, their attempts to kill him, are repetitions of the customary ways of their forefathers from of old. Repetitions of the ways that had become customary for their forefathers from of old.

Did they not kill? Zechariah, peace be upon him. Did they not kill John? And so many other prophets.

Yes.

In a hadith as well, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: My Lord raised me. He raised me well. He raised me well. So the Beloved of the Almighty, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), created from the light of the world, was raised by our Lord. There is no power or might other than Allah that could turn him away from his Lord. The worlds on one side, the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the other. The worlds on one side. He on the other.

Yes.

And how beautifully he puts it. He says: Al-faqru fakhri, al-faqru fakhri; did he not say it, the pride of the worlds? Mention his faqr, mention his faqr, this heart of mine found (?). This is the counterpart of La mawjuda illallah. This is not poverty. Those who do not understand this think the Prophet was poor and found this station in poverty. In Arabic, the word for poor is miskin. Faqr, here it is faqr. Even if he owned everything, not this world, even if the worlds were at his command, even if the seven heavens and Allah's Throne were given to him,

he who knows the Owner of these worlds and surrenders these worlds to Him, the verse says so anyway: Every soul shall taste death; the inheritance of the heavens and the earth will remain with Allah.

The one who surrenders all that is created, from atom to globe, to Allah, who even knows that his own body was created by his Lord and given to him as a trust, who even knows that his spirit is a part, a part from his Lord, and surrenders that too to his Lord, that person. La mawjuda illallah. That is the meaning of faqr. No one can do anything to him. These worlds, these worlds on one side, and he on the other side. Yes.

So the Beloved of the Almighty, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), created from the light of the worlds, was raised by our Lord. There is no power or might other than Allah that could turn him away from his Lord. The worlds on one side, the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the other.

Again in the verse: Allah has taught you what you did not know. What you did not know. Allah Almighty is the Owner of all knowledge. Allah Almighty knows the secret of creation. He created us incomplete. Incomplete. Because of this incomplete creation of ours, we are in need of Allah. So Allah teaches us what we do not know. Look what it says in the verse. I teach the one who acts on his knowledge what he does not know, it says. And it is said He says: the one who acts on his knowledge, I teach him what he does not know too, He says. Since the Prophet, who is not free of our Lord for even a moment, and the worlds that are with Him were created from His light, and indirectly people from His spirit, could the Prophet ever be free of Allah Almighty? Now another parable comes to my mind, an event.

One day (?) is walking along the road and sees children stoning a man. He says to the children: My sons, he says, it is a sin. Why are you stoning this man? And the man is running away. They say: He is mad, they say, this one is mad. Well, my sons, he says, does one throw stones at a madman? Is it not a sin? Look, he is older than you, he says. You are hurting the man, he says. He protects them, the man, and comes over. These people, he says, call you mad, he says. What is your state, he says?

By Allah, he says, if I were (?) from Allah for a moment, he says, I would burn, he says, I would burn. Are you the man they call mad, he says. Yes. If a person is in this state, of whom it says in the verse again: neither trade nor commerce keeps them from My remembrance, if people are in this state, if there are such people, then the Prophet (peace be upon him), according to his station, what state he is in with Allah Almighty, we cannot even (?). Yes. That is how it is.

In the verse: Allah has taught you what you did not know. Allah's favor upon you has truly been great. The Prophet (peace be upon him), whom Allah raised and sent as the Seal of the Prophets, the (?) source of guidance for all people: those who cannot recognize him, those who try to fit the Prophet (peace be upon him) into their minds, their state is like mosquitoes trying to carry the dominion on their backs.

Yes. If they cannot know the Prophet (peace be upon him), can that mosquito carry the dominion? Well, their state is like this. In this respect, the Prophet's intellect, knowledge, strength and might, with all his superhuman abilities, created as the most excellent of created beings, this state of his is Allah's favor and mercy upon the Prophet (peace be upon him).
