Al-Ma'idah 110: Allah will Say; “Oh Jesus, the son of Mary! Remember the blessings I bestowed on you and on your mother. Remember that; I aided you with the Holy Spirit (Rûh ul-Qudus). You would speak to the people in the cradle, and in maturity. I taught you the Al-Hikmah (Power of deep comprehension of knowledge), the Torah (The Old Testament) and the Injil (The New Testament). With My permission, you would fashion a bird from a mud and breath into it, then it would become a living bird. And with My permission, you would heal and deal sight to the born-blind and you would heal the lepers (who are sick with leprosy). With My permission, you would resurrect the dead. Remember that; I prevented the sons of Israel (from killing you). When you brought them clear signs (miracles), the deniers among them said; “Obviously, this is nothing but magic!”.

Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 110. Then Allah will say: O Jesus, son of Mary, remember My blessing upon you and your mother. When I supported you with the holy spirit. Do they say Gabriel? What Gabriel? Which Gabriel? Allah Almighty, in the Holy Quran, (?), it says.

O My Beloved! To those who ask you about the spirits, say: it is a command of my Lord. So if it is a command of our Lord, if the spirits – if from a part of it He gave to man, if from a part of that spirit to man He gave – man, man is the noblest of all created beings in the universe; above Gabriel, above Michael, above Israfil, above Azrael.

He is above all the angels.

I am saying the word, but now I will say it correctly. Allah Almighty, an unknown treasure, willed that His (?) be known. From His light He created Muhammad, from his light the universe. From his light the angels were created, the universe was created. Then He gave him of His spirit, and from his spirit the prophets, and from the spirits of those prophets people were created. So, if the first created being, (?) the Prophet, our master Hazrat Muhammad – if the worlds were created for his sake, if He says: were it not for you I would not have created these worlds – for without him the worlds would not exist – since from his light He created the worlds and from his spirit people, is the first created greater as the noblest of creatures, or the one created from his light greater? Use your reason, learn the verses well: there is no being in the universe as honourable as man.

But but they, it says, if from the events pointing to Allah's existence and oneness they hold back and turn their backs, they are like the four-footed beasts roaming the earth, even more astray in their course, it says.

What does Abdulqadir Gilani say? If man knew his place in Allah's sight, La müke illa yevmelî. Today sovereignty is mine alone, he would say, he says. Today sovereignty is mine alone. So although Allah Almighty made none of His creatures a caliph, people are the caliphs of the earth in this world. What is this caliph? Is Gabriel a caliph? Is Michael a caliph? Are the angels caliphs? But man is a caliph. What is a caliph? Take me as a factory owner. I leave someone in my place as caliph. This man is my caretaker, I say. Obeying him is obeying me, he says. You will obey him. What happened? He became my caliph. So our Lord, through His spirit He gave man, such honour (?) on man that, of the creatures in this world He created, as His caliph He brings him and places him on earth.

Caliph. That is, the one who looks after things in my place, he says. My deputy, he says. My deputy. Isn't that what a caliph is? Isn't a caliph a deputy? Isn't it someone who looks after things in another's place? Am I misunderstanding? So does Allah Almighty call man a caliph? Does He say caliph of the earth? He does. So do not distort the verses. If Allah Almighty says He supported him with the holy spirit, He supported him with His essence. He supported him with His essence, with His essence. Gabriel the Trustworthy does not come to Hazrat Mary. I say it once more. Jibril the Trustworthy? He does not come to Hazrat Mary.

If anyone didn't hear, I repeat it once more. Again: Gabriel does not come to Hazrat Mary. The reason (?). The Prophet, when he married Hazrat Khadija, sometimes – O Khadija, (?) Gabriel was going away. When she uncovered her head, Gabriel (peace be upon him) would go away. When she covered it, Gabriel (peace be upon him) would come. What are you doing there, O Khadija, he says. So Gabriel does not come to a woman. Illallah. Why does he not come? Without a father, by a miracle of Allah, a human being is born. A human being. Fatherless. Gabriel (peace be upon him) (?) – although angels are created sexless, people will gossip.

(?) Well, don't they do it with Allah? They do it with Allah. Hazrat Mary's (?), they say. By (?) Allah's attributes, they associate partners with Allah, those people. For this reason they are in shirk. They have no religion either. They are without religion. Yes. Nor do they believe in the book in their hands. Because they are written with superstitions. If he believed in the book in his hands – its truth is in the Holy Quran. The truths of the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel are in the Holy Quran. So people who do not believe in the true verses, who load themselves with superstitions and with what they wrote from their own mouths, have neither books nor religion. Yes.

(?) Listen well to the holy spirit. Who is this holy spirit, then?

Hodja, are you making Allah Almighty subsist through time? The holy spirit came, you see – with that tiny mind of yours, do you picture Allah Almighty as a single attribute? Indeed. When I give a sermon here, when I teach a lesson, put my things all over the world, put computers, and everywhere you listen to me. Right. I am one person. And if Allah Almighty created billions of people from a small part of Him, then with a part, with any part of His essence, is He not present and watching everywhere in the universe? If you are asked: is Allah present and watching everywhere? You say yes. If you say yes, how is He present and watching?

Since Allah hears everything heard and said, since He encompasses and perceives all eyes, how does He encompass and perceive? Can your mind grasp this? Illallah. But if you restrict Him with a tiny mind, of course you perceive Him there that way, and because your mind falls short, you liken Him to the person in front of you. Indeed. Yes.

Remember when I supported you with the holy spirit. Thanks to this you spoke to people in the cradle and in adulthood. I taught you to read and write the Book, wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel. (?) Gentlemen, in this teaching, it is not that Allah Almighty comes to earth and raises him. Look at the animals among the creatures. As soon as they are born they know what to do. Gazelles, those animals, as soon as they're born know how to hide, how to flee. As soon as they're born. All creatures know what to do. Where do they know it from? He has programmed them. So Allah Almighty also, Jesus whom He would create fatherless, while he was still in the world of spirits, programmed. According to the land each person will come to, according to the language he will speak, He programmed him.

Allah! A tiny child, one year old, two years old, speaks. A two-year-old child speaks. What did you teach him, saying: this is iron, this, sir, is ink, this is a pen? What did you teach him? But at two, at three, you see him speaking, he starts chattering away. It is programmed there; (?) it is determined in which language he will come. According to (?). He is programmed with the language of that people. When the time comes, part by part, veil by veil, these open up in a person. Part by part. yes, thanks to this you spoke to people in the cradle and in adulthood. How would he speak in the cradle? He was programmed, that's how. Indeed.

There is a lot to say, but which human memory cannot grasp you know, some rebel here: Hodja, are we stupid, they say. Are we stupid? A person who rebels without even grasping what the holy spirit is – when I explain it a few levels deeper, how will you grasp it? Do you know what this is like? It is like taking a middle-school child or a high-school child, without giving him doctoral lessons, without training him, putting him in an operating room and having him operate on a man.

Can't we do it? Of course you can. If you pass through those stages.

What does the Prophet (peace be upon him) say? Speak to people according to their understanding. Yes.

Then Allah will say: O Jesus, son of Mary. Remember the blessing I gave you and your mother. When I supported you with the holy spirit. Thanks to this you spoke to people in the cradle and in adulthood. I taught you to read and write the Book, wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel. By My leave you made something in the shape of a bird out of clay and breathed into it. At once, by My leave, it became a bird. Again by My leave you healed the one born blind and the leper. You brought the dead back to life by My leave. When I held the Children of Israel back from killing you. When you brought them clear proofs, miracles, those of them who disbelieved said: this is nothing but plain magic.

Indeed. Yes.

Hodja, I have a small question. Go ahead, my child. About the Holy Spirit – you know, remember, O Jesus son of Mary. (?) Come. (?) – His own essence, my child. Is that so? Sir? No, like this. Remember, O Jesus son of Mary, when We supported you with the holy spirit – in this address, does the Lord Almighty not already say to Jesus: We supported you? He does. With the holy spirit. Allah Almighty will say to Jesus as follows. (?) at the Resurrection. O man! Remember My blessing upon you and your mother. What was the blessing He gave her? Making her the mother of a prophet. This is a blessing. Making a miracle appear from her. Great blessings. Sir, when I supported you with the holy spirit. Yes. (?) Jesus, while still entering his mother's womb, entering the womb, before putting on the bodily garment, while in the state of spirit, being aware of himself, and Allah Almighty keeping Jesus's program open without locking it – shows Jesus (peace be upon him) looking at events and coming into being.

(?) At twelve the code is opened. Programmed. That spirit He does not program, that is, does not clothe. Let's take it like this. A spirit taken from a barzakh, when it enters the mother's womb, when it enters – before it even enters, there are ways it comes by. We take it from the realm of Jabarut. From the realm of Jabarut. The realm of Jabarut. It comes. The realm of Jabarut is the realm of nearness. Our Lord Himself takes it. So what does Allah Almighty say? Only Allah knows what is in the wombs. Pay close attention. Only Allah knows what is in the wombs. Today they say: is it a boy or a girl?

Blessed one, that's not it. Once it has turned into matter, you know. The spirit to be taken from the realm of barzakh – which one, for those parents, with which they prove each other best – Allah knows this. Will a girl come from there, will a boy come from there? Allah knows this. He takes it from there. And the wombs – Allah knows all. When He says this: whether the one He will take from the realm of barzakh is a girl or a boy, no one but Allah can know. It is within His secret. Once it has turned into a body, of course they know. And in the realm of Jabarut, it says, He puts a garment on it.

This is called the sultanic spirit, it says. Sultanic spirit. Then it comes to the realm of Malakut. From the light of Malakut He clothes it in a garment too. This is called the spiritual spirit. In the realm of Mulk, when it enters the mother's womb, this is called the bodily spirit; some call it the animal spirit, but we don't say animal spirit. Because here there are saints, friends of Allah, martyrs. We call it the bodily spirit.

What do these mean? According to this order of coming, Allah Almighty – the covenant in the realm of the Hereafter, those realms – into a program; on a computer you loaded, to be able to open the programs you protected with a password, you need the passwords you set. If I cannot open, cannot give those passwords, you cannot open that program. So Allah Almighty has placed them in the program – with the realm of nearness, with the spiritual spirit, with the bodily spirit He has encrypted them. That is, He closed those places off. It is within Jesus's own being. It is within one's own being. Is there proof? There is.

There is. What is the proof from the verses? İza beleğati'l-hulkum. When the soul reaches the throat. Come on, turn it back then, it says. (?). All his relatives have gathered at his head, waiting for his soul to depart. Are you nearer to him with your power, or We? So the door of repentance closed. Why did it close? That spirit sees the realm of the Hereafter. It sees the Truth. So here, when the soul reaches this point, the door of repentance closes. So these realms seen from beyond, these realms lived – like a program I loaded on a computer, if you do not want it to be seen and you encrypt it, that program, though it is on this computer, is not given to you.

You cannot give it. So people are programmed – with those passwords the realm of the Hereafter is closed to you. If in your own nafs you break those evils, you open the passwords one by one. What is this? From nafs al-ammara to nafs al-lawwama. From nafs al-lawwama to nafs al-mulhima. From nafs al-mulhima to nafs al-mutma'inna. Attaining the manifestations. How do you get this? How do you rise to these places? By breaking the evils of your nafs. Then nafs al-radiya. Ilm al-yaqin. Then nafs al-mardiyya. Ayn al-yaqin. Then nafs al-safiya. These, these two. Group: radiya and mardiyya, people who attain the ranks of Qutb (?) and Qutb (?).

Sometimes these two can live at the same time. Indeed. In that case, in that case, those who cannot get past those states of the nafs, still on the (?) of Islam, of course, when governed by the Sharia rulings they kept, will still attain our Lord's mercy. These states of the nafs I just mentioned: people's paradise – (?) there being seven paradises, eight paradises, the Praised Station for the Prophet, our master. There being seven paradises, entering the paradises according to the seven paradises, the seven states of the nafs – that is the entry. What are they? Nafs al-ammara, nafs al-lawwama, nafs al-mulhima, nafs al-mutma'inna, nafs al-radiya, nafs al-mardiyya, nafs al-safiya.

In that case, because of these people's obedience to Allah Almighty's command, the places in paradise they will enter. In that case people –

while still in the realm of the Hereafter, these programs were inscribed in us; when we came into the world they were closed. Here we start from zero. Until one reaches the age of reason and puberty, our Lord does not record reward or sin. After reaching it, it means our own will, our reason has come to us. Then the worship we do and the good deeds start being recorded. Rewards and sins start being recorded. Yes. So Allah Almighty will say to Jesus as follows. O Jesus! Remember My blessing upon you and your mother. When I supported you with the holy spirit, look. (?) Jesus, while entering the womb, before putting on the bodily garment, in the state of spirit, is aware of himself.

He learned it there. He knows all of it. Just as it says to the Prophet too: remember – remember that before he came into the world, He showed him certain events. Indeed.

Yes. His being aware of himself in this state, and Allah Almighty keeping Jesus's program open without locking it – shows Jesus (peace be upon him) looking at events and coming into being. By his speaking in the cradle. I said just now: whichever people a person will come into, it is actually inscribed in him. He knows it. Why does he know it? There I was speaking Turkish like this too. Turkish. So that memory is here. It has been placed. Whichever person comes into whichever people, with that people's words it is inscribed in the brain. Well, with all His word, that is, with one word, how did Allah Almighty address all languages?

And isn't the same thing happening now? Is it translated? A man speaks English, it is translated for all people. It is translated for people. Allah too, with His word, as it is to them, His word (?). And Allah has knowledge. Yes.

To make this a bit clearer, we have said: people, in the realm of barzakh, have a way of coming to the realm of Mulk. The realm of barzakh is the place where spirits wait. That is, it is the graves of the spirits. Every spirit that made a covenant with Allah Almighty is raised to the realm of barzakh. There it waits until whatever time it wished, and the spirit whose time has come, on its way to the realm of Mulk, puts on garments.

When our spirits come from the realm of barzakh to the realm of Jabarut, a garment from the light of Jabarut they put on. Here this spirit takes the name sultanic spirit. The reason it takes this name is its degree of nearness to Allah and its seeing Him. The view of the realm of barzakh is closed off for the spirit here with a password. And the realm of barzakh is made to be forgotten by this person. In fact, the existence of this realm is present within him. It is like a person forgetting something and remembering it again.

Now this comes to my mind again. These are writings written entirely (?). (?). And in the essence of the verses. You cannot deny any of them here. All of them correspond to verses. Every single sentence.

From here, continuing on its way, from the realm of Jabarut it is sent to the realm of Malakut. Here too it puts on a garment. This is called the spiritual spirit. This time, in the realm of Jabarut, it is made to forget, and with a password, in the realm of Jabarut, it is closed. From here it is sent to the realm of Mulk and puts on a body. This time the realm of Malakut is made to be forgotten by it and closed with a password. The person has put on a body in the realm of Mulk. Here is a verse. When He saw they were taken up with the world, they forgot their Lord. O My Beloved, remind them of the days spent with their Lord, it says.

(?) Be in Allah's care. Yes.

If a person reforms his nafs, he can, solving these passwords one by one, travel through these realms. That is, he can make a (?) exit back the way he came. As for Jesus, that he came (?) without being wrapped in these passwords we understand from His saying: remember that I supported you with the holy spirit. He is not subject to these passwords. As I explained in earlier lessons, the holy spirit is not Jibril the Trustworthy but Allah Almighty's very essence. That it is so, we will also explain to you in the continuation of this verse, they say. The verses all support each other anyway. Thanks to this you spoke to people in the cradle and in adulthood.

So now, if it had been Gabriel (peace be upon him), would he have programmed this program into Jesus? When a person is about to say a word from his mouth, he must also take on the (?) defeat that comes at its end. He must speak accordingly. Did Jibril the Trustworthy program Jesus?

Then Jibril the Trustworthy is also privy to the secrets of our Lord, he too can program people, their brains, their brains, he can make them use their will as he wishes. Is that so, then? No one but Allah can do this. Illallah. Yes. Illallah.

Thanks to this you spoke to people in the cradle and in adulthood. According to this verse, Allah Almighty did not program Jesus so as to make him forget the realms of Jabarut and Malakut. At Qalu Bala, when people (?) to Allah Almighty's address, by Allah's knowledge, so that people could understand what He would say, He recorded the knowledge of speech in their memories. The knowledge of speech. I explained this already in (?). Thanks to this, in the first barzakh, at Qalu Bala, while in the state of spirits, people spoke with their Lord and made a covenant. Ve iz ehaze rabbüke min benî Âdeme min zuhûrihim zürriyyetehüm ve eşhedehüm alâ enfüsihim Elestü bi rabbiküm. We, with those (?) from the children of Adam's (?), made a covenant, it says. We said to you: We are your Lord. (?) We said: We are your Lord.

Well? Among people unaware of the covenant: Was it perhaps in the mother's womb, they say? Or, they say, at the age of reason? Or Qalu Bala – it's not clear, they say. These men write commentaries. These men write translations. Translations.

They know Arabic, along with its grammar.

Yes. Thanks to this, in the first barzakh, at Qalu Bala, while in the state of spirits, people with their Lord spoke and made a covenant. So these conversations recorded in memory are not locked. If it stays open, a person speaks in the mother's womb, speaks as a child, speaks in adulthood too. (?), open. Illallah. Allah Almighty explains these matters open and clear (?). Illallah. I taught you to read and write the Book, wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel. As is understood from this verse too, the whole of all these events and Jesus's entry into the mother's womb being (?) by Allah Almighty's essence becomes clear.

By My leave you made something in the shape of a bird out of clay and breathed into it. At once, by My leave, it became a bird. For Jesus to introduce and make known Allah's existence to people, Allah gave Jesus many miracles. These are miracles.

If a person shows a miracle, it is not from that person himself. It is not from himself. For those people to know Allah as one, and as proof that there is no god but Allah, it is what He had His messenger show: the proof of His essence. The proof of His essence. To Moses (?), (?). Was it by Moses's own knowledge? The Prophet (?), split it in two. The greatest of the miracles He gave to people. One part went to the east, one to the west. O Lord, make Yourself known, he said. To the moon. Ene Muhammed. Ene Muhammed, he said. (?) It split in two. One to the east, one to the west.

By the Prophet's having it said – our Lord's miracles, His might and strength and power. These are for the proof of His essence. All of them. So all these miracles are by Allah's leave. Yes.

And it says: for Jesus to introduce and make Allah known to people, Allah gave Jesus many miracles. He would make something in the shape of a bird out of clay for people and say (?) to it. And by Allah's leave it would become a bird, (?). Why? By My leave. (?) he healed the blind and the leper. By Allah's leave, that is. Not from his own essence, not from Jesus.

And what is in the human body, (?) – they call this (?), they say; he would heal diseases like a kind of (?) illness. You brought the dead back to life by My leave. Again Jesus, by Allah's leave, would (?) the dead and speak with them. All these miracles, so that people believe in Allah's existence and oneness and have faith, are the miracles that Allah Almighty showed to people. Allah. When I held the Children of Israel back from killing you. So He prevented it for Jesus too.

When you brought them clear proofs, miracles, those of them who disbelieved said: this is nothing but plain magic. Allah Almighty, from the hands of the Children of Israel who wanted to kill Jesus, saved him. The Children of Israel crucified someone who resembled Jesus. A commander goes in (?), but cannot see Jesus there. Allah Almighty raised Jesus to the first heaven. In that case, those who see that the commander has not come out immediately go in. Since Allah Almighty made him resemble Jesus, him – they crucify the commander as Jesus. Their (?) as Jesus, in his house, once (?) Jesus. Yes. All of them, stories they made up.

When I held the Children of Israel back from killing you. When you brought them clear proofs, miracles, those of them who disbelieved said: this is nothing but plain magic. Allah Almighty, from the hands of the Children of Israel who wanted to kill Jesus, saved him. The Children of Israel crucified someone who resembled Jesus. Thanks to this, Jesus was raised to the heavens, and after waiting there until a time Allah wills, he will come to the world again. After Jesus (peace be upon him) has lived his worldly life, according to the verse: every soul will taste death, one day he will surrender his soul to Allah.

While at your shop, you remember, he was a Christian, I think – or were they the ones who follow Satan? Fire-worshippers, those. Yes, they were fire-worshippers. There's a question, I told you.

Should one follow the living or follow the dead, he said. Indeed. I said to you, before answering this – all right – give me permission to explain. No, he said, tell me, he said. Tell me, he said. But then you will listen to me, I said. I will listen, he said.

(?), I said, one follows the living. Well, if Jesus is alive, he said. (?) are we to follow behind Hazrat Muhammad (?), he said. So I told you, I said, listen to me once. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Allah Almighty… for the sake of your word you will listen, I said. Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a mercy to the worlds, and says he is alive, I said. Alive. That is, alive having tasted death. Alive having tasted death. Well then, I said. Not having tasted death.

Do you follow the one who is yet to taste death? Or do you follow the living one who has tasted death, I said. You're playing with my creed, he told me. The man went mad, Hodja. Went mad. That bad. Yes.

After waiting there until a time Allah wills, he will come to the world again. After making Jesus (peace be upon him) live his worldly life, all souls (?). According to the verse, one day he will surrender his soul to Allah. Although with such clear proofs and miracles Jesus (peace be upon him) proved to them Allah's existence, they still said it is magic. They did not believe in Allah and His Messenger. Today too these events run in this way. Everyone is living out the covenant he gave to Allah and proving to Allah what he is.
