Translation

They said; “So that we eat from it, our hearts are satisfied, we know (with certainty) that you are saying the truth to us and we are witnesses who have seen it with our eyes”.

Tafsir

When Jesus said to the Apostles, "Fear Allah if you are believers," the Apostles said, "Let us eat of it so that our hearts may be satisfied and we may know for certain that you are telling the truth, so that they may discern whether the inspiration that has come to their hearts is from God or from the devil. That is why they expressed their desire and said that if it is a merciful food, let us be witnesses who have seen it with our eyes by eating it.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 113. They had said: “We want to eat from it, so that our hearts are at rest, so that we know for certain that you have told us the truth, and so that we become witnesses to it who have seen it with our eyes.” So here, the explanation of the verse I opened a moment ago: with verses, Allah Almighty tells in what states they asked Allah Almighty for a miracle. What did it say? “We want to eat from it, so that our hearts are at rest, so that we know for certain that you have told us the truth, and so that we become witnesses who have seen it with their eyes,” they had said. Here there is a very dangerous situation. Danger. What is the danger?

If a person asks Allah Almighty for a miracle, and after that miracle has come the person denies it, Allah Almighty opens a public case. He destroys that people. So, from Jesus they asked for a ma'idah. That is, they asked for food. Food — although food came through Jesus's prayer to his Lord, some people turned their backs and left. They turned to denial. And Allah Almighty changed their forms into swine. Into swine. When Jesus told the disciples, “Fear Allah if you are believers,” the disciples said: “We want to eat from it, so that our hearts are at rest, so that we know for certain that I — that you have told the truth.” That is, inspiration comes, but they want proof of it.

Because Satan, too, whispers temptation to a person. Is it temptation? Is it inspiration? They want this confirmed. Now, inspiration comes to us too. What does Allah Almighty say? People do not know most of inspiration. Most people do not know inspiration, He says. So what is inspiration? It is Allah Almighty speaking to a person's heart. So how will you understand that this is inspiration? Right.

If the inspiration that comes to your heart is in line with the verses and hadiths, it is inspiration. If it is outside the verses and hadiths, it is Satan's temptation. Yes. So the disciples too: inspiration has come to our hearts, but is it satanic? Or is it truly an inspiration our Lord has given us? If this is inspiration, we are long since among those who have surrendered to our Lord, they say. Yes, their saying, “We want to eat from it, so that our hearts are at rest, so that we know for certain that you have told the truth,” was in order to prove whether the inspiration that came to their hearts was divine or satanic.

Therefore, stating (?), they had said: if it is divine, eating from (?), let us also become witnesses who have seen it with our eyes. Yes.

In a verse, too, Allah Almighty says: when We reveal to a prophet, He says, We reveal it firmly, and the temptation Satan would cast is cancelled in that prophet's heart, He says. It is cancelled. Because they do not know this, they explain the verse wrongly. Wrongly. What do they say? That Allah supposedly cancels the temptation Satan casts, that revelation has been given to him. What is happening here again? Allah Almighty Himself uses His own will on His servant. Whereas Allah Almighty gives revelation to His servant. Revelation, verses (?). Allah Almighty also explains their meanings to him.

The temptation Satan gives remains (?) against those verses, and in the prophet's heart Satan's temptation is cancelled. Here is a verse for you: to My servant who knows Me, what is Satan's temptation (?), He says. Yes.

If they had this knowledge, if they had such knowledge, they would not write the verses half-baked and would not explain them wrongly like this.
