Translation

That We are benefiting them for their sake? No, they do not realize.

Tafsir

These people, with their children and well-wishers, are the recipients of Allah's blessings and favors. Do those who have wealth and property in this world, denying Allah and the Hereafter, think that they have found strength through their children and well-wishers? But wealth and property, children and well-wishers are also Allah's creations. And whoever inclines towards Allah's creatures and forgets Allah, they are the wrongdoers.

In this respect, the disbelievers of mankind, those who do not believe in the truth, those who are in rebellion, those who linger in worldly wealth and possessions, will eventually leave all their wealth and possessions behind to their heirs and will pass on to the Hereafter on the Day of Reckoning to give an account of what they have done in this world. They will have no helpers or intercessors there. That wealth and property, children and well-being have become a mischief for them.

What is said in the video

In verse 56 of Surah Al-Mu'minun, He is completing the verse, Allah Almighty. We are providing benefits for them in matters of their good. Not in matters of evil. How beautifully He says it. We are providing benefits for them in matters of their good. No, they do not perceive it, He says. However much We open Our doors of good to them, give them children and family, give them wealth and property too, and their desires and wishes fulfil, they are not aware of it. They do not perceive it. With the children, children and families granted to them, these people Allah's good and grace receive. Those who, denying Allah, who gives these goods, and the hereafter, own wealth and property in the world, do they think they gain strength through their children and family?

Now, how beautifully Allah grants favour to man. What does He do? He gives wealth. He gives children. Now, the more money man finds, the more he forgets Allah. How does he forget? He goes off to the beach, to Bodrum, to Ephesus, to hotels, let me tell you, stark naked, like Father Adam and Mother Eve, as they say — Allah protect us. They too were covered by modesty, but some people try to disparage them in this way. Stark naked, with all their private parts exposed, lower than animals, in these places they revel in pleasure. He cannot know the good of this wealth given to him. What is the good of this wealth, Hodja?

The good of this wealth is to give thanks to Allah. The good of this wealth is to take the hand of the stranded, the orphan, the poor — the hand of the poor. The good of this wealth is to help children who study at school, who pursue knowledge, who get an education. The good of this wealth is to help foundations and mosques. If you do this, since you give in charity for Allah's sake what Allah gave, you have sent your wealth here on to the hereafter. But say, where is the one who will grasp this? Where is the person who will grasp this beauty and turn to Allah?

Yes. Very few. Not none, no — there are. There are, but those people too are like red sulphur. Yes.

Whereas wealth and property are certainly (?) Allah's creations. Whoever inclines to Allah's creations and forgets Allah, they are the very wrongdoers themselves. Therefore the deniers among people, those who do not believe in the truth, those in rebellion, those distracted by worldly wealth and property, in the end, leaving all their wealth and property behind to their heirs, on that day of reckoning, to give account for what they did in the world, pass on to the hereafter. There they will have neither a helper nor an intercessor. That wealth and property, children and family, have become a trial for them.

A trial. Yes.
