Yunus 27: And for those who commit bad deeds, punishment is (given) by an equal amount. Despicableness will cover them. There will be no one to protect them against Allah. It is as if their faces are covered in a patch of dark night. They are the dwellers of hell. They will remain there eternally.

Translation

And for those who commit bad deeds, punishment is (given) by an equal amount. Despicableness will cover them. There will be no one to protect them against Allah. It is as if their faces are covered in a patch of dark night. They are the dwellers of hell. They will remain there eternally.

Tafsir

As for those who do evil, that is, those who do not recognize Allah and His Messenger and do not believe in the Hereafter. Those who transgress by doing what Allah does not want and do not protect Allah's boundaries. Because of Allah's mercy, Allah will not increase the reward for their evil deeds as He increases the good deeds of those who do good, but He will repay the evil deeds of those who do evil in kind, i.e. one for one.

These people will be covered with humiliation in the Hereafter. The meaning of humiliation is: because of the warnings that were given to them, because they ignored the warnings, because they heard the messages of Allah and His Messenger, the Din al-Islam, but they did not compromise their ego, and they persecuted those who called them to the truth, or they did not listen to them, or they mocked them, and because they were rebellious against Allah and His Messenger, and they were proud and pompous among themselves, so humiliation will cover them. In the Hereafter, when they realize that Allah is the Truth, they will not be able to look at each other's faces in the Hereafter, ashamed of each other, because of their contempt for those who called them to the Truth in the worldly realm, and among themselves, because of their pride and pride in rebelling against Allah. They will be crushed, shriveled, degraded and humiliated in the presence of each other. If only their souls were satisfied with this behavior. If only they had recognized Allah in their repentance. Surely Allah would forgive them. But even in this state, their hatred against Allah (swt) will increase. In this state they will be the inhabitants of Hell for eternity. Because of their behavior, their faces will darken like a piece of the darkness of the night. Allah will remove His mercy from them. They will have neither an intercessor nor a protector in the Hereafter.

What is said in the video

As for those who do evil, that is, those who do not recognise Allah and His Messenger, who do not believe in the hereafter, who transgress by doing what Allah does not want, and who do not guard Allah's limits — for the evil they have done, because of Allah's mercy, just as Allah increases the good of those who do good, He will not increase the recompense of their evil; to those who do evil, the recompense of their evil in like measure, that is, one to one, sir, in the hereafter He will give them.

So in the hereafter a humiliation will cover these people. In the hereafter. We said earlier: what is humiliation? In the world he sees himself, his own self, as high. He looks down on people. He leads the way in drinking, gambling and fornication. Because Muslims, with the worship they perform for Allah, keep away from (?) like drink, gambling, fornication, and 'live like grass', he likens Muslims to grass; 'they live like grass', he says, describing them so and despising them; and in the hereafter, when he sees that they are friends of Allah, when he realises a torment will touch him, when he sees the high degrees in Paradise of that person he looked down on — his being brought low before him, is that not humiliation?

There that ego, that pride, that arrogance will be broken. It will be broken, but it will not turn back to the truth. Their rebellion against Allah will increase even more.

From humiliation (?), because of the warnings made to them, because they ignored the warnings, because, despite hearing the message of Allah and His Messenger, the religion of Islam, they would not concede anything of their nafs, because they persecuted those who called them to the truth and did not listen to them or mocked them — in return; and because among themselves too they rebelled against Allah and His Messenger and lived in pride and pomp, a humiliation will cover them. In the hereafter, when they understand that Allah is the truth — because in the world, toward those who called them to the truth, and among themselves too, in the delight and pride of rebelling against Allah, they looked down on those who called to the truth — in the hereafter they will be ashamed before one another and unable to look each other in the face.

Before one another they will be crushed and cowed, brought low, into a base and abject state they will come. If only their nafs had found peace through this behaviour. If only in their remorse they had recognised Allah. Surely Allah would have forgiven them. But even in this state their grudge against Allah Almighty will increase. So, in this state, they will remain people of Hell forever. Because of this behaviour, their faces, like a piece of the darkness of night, will darken, Allah will lift His mercy from them. In the hereafter they will have neither an intercessor nor a protector.

May Allah protect us all from such an end. Yes.
