Thus, Allah is sufficient as a Witness between us and you. Verily, we were unaware of your worship to us.”

Tafsir

So the idols will take Allah (swt) as their witness and say: Allah is sufficient as a witness between us and you. Because Allah has programmed all the worlds according to His will, and He has left the wills of the people to their own will. Those whom Allah (swt) has programmed cannot go beyond these programs. As for man, whatever he asks of Allah according to his will, Allah has given it to him as his destiny. In this respect, there are no events of good deeds and sins in animals. The issue of righteousness and sin is in the hands of humans and jinn who have been given their will.

Therefore, the fact that these idols cite Allah as a witness is because Allah (swt) is aware of their condition. Verily, we were unaware of what you worshipped us, and the idolaters know this. But when they see the torment there, they look for someone to blame, even if it is the humidity of the air.

After this testimony of the idols, all their hopes are dashed. They realize that they are alone there. The people they trusted most and the idols they worshipped are now gone.

What is said in the video

Surah Yunus, verse 29. So Allah suffices as a witness between us and you, it says. In the world, (?) lawyer, you didn't like his lawyering, you can hire lawyer Hasan Efendi. You didn't like lawyer Hasan Efendi either, you can bribe the judge. You couldn't find the judge, you give it to his prosecutor. You couldn't find his prosecutor, you keep searching. You keep searching for someone to save you. Isn't this how it is in the world? You keep searching. In the hereafter this searching of yours will be cut off. Why? Eleysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn. Before the Judge of judges. According to the verse where He says: on that Day judgement belongs to Allah alone.

On that Day when He has no spouse, partner or equal, when judgement is Allah's alone, no one's testimony is valid. Except the people Allah Almighty permits. Who are they? People in the station of intercession. Yes.

So what do the idols say? Allah suffices as a witness between us and you. Indeed we were completely unaware of your worshipping us. So Allah Almighty too: testimony. Yes. You worshipped this out of your nafs. You worshipped it out of your grudge and hatred toward Me. Out of the pride and arrogance in your nafs, out of your self-importance, out of the whims of the nafs you worshipped. He will say: well, You are Allah, You can say that. Do You have proof? Allah Almighty has the attribute of Godhood. No one will be able to question or interrogate Him. The reason? Because with all the deeds a person has done, before Allah Almighty he will be left without questions.

So a person's whole lifelong journey, everything he has done, will be shown to him. And that will suffice him anyway. It will be shown to him. In that case Allah Almighty will give the (?) decision. So the idols, taking Allah Almighty as witness, will say this: Allah suffices as a witness between us and you. Because Allah programmed all the worlds according to His own will. He programmed the worlds according to His own will. He left people's wishes to their own will.

Look, there is a distinction here now. What are we saying? Because Allah — all the worlds, all the worlds He created, the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the animals, except humans and jinn — what are we saying? All the worlds — His own programmes, not — He left people's wishes to their own will. Their wishes. With partial will. They cannot step outside these programmes Allah Almighty has programmed. They cannot step outside this programme Allah Almighty has programmed. Because the wishes and desires, the wishes, that people asked of Allah Almighty also went into this programme.

It is impossible for man to step outside that programme. Nor is it possible for him to step outside his own destiny. Yes. Man, whatever he asked of Allah according to his own wish, Allah grants his request to him as destiny. In this respect, there is no matter of reward and sin in animals. Reward and sin apply to humans and jinn, whose will is given into their hands. In this respect, these idols calling Allah as witness is because Allah Almighty is aware of their condition. Indeed we were unaware of your worshipping us. The idolaters know this too. But when they see the torment there — even if it's the animal's, the air's (?) — they look for someone to take the blame off them.

After this testimony of the idols, all their hopes are dashed. They realise they are left alone there. Both the people they trusted and the idols they worshipped are now gone. Yes.
