Translation

On the Day when Allah will resurrect and summon them in a state, in which they believe that they stayed (on earth) only for an hour of the day, they will meet each other. Those who deny reaching Allah’s presence are surely at a loss since they did not walk on the right path.

Tafsir

Allah (swt), Who creates time within time, says in one of His Verses (a thousand years of the world is like a day of the Hereafter). Accordingly, when people die and are buried in the ground, when they are resurrected in the Hereafter, they will think that they are lying in their graves like an hour. However, in another verse Allah says: "Ask the angels who are in charge of keeping the account of how long they lie under the earth".

Those who thought that the resurrection after death was not true will start to meet each other when they are gathered at the Judgment. We did not expect resurrection after death, but today we see that it is true, and these unbelieving people will seek the support of people of faith, and they will try to seek help from people.

Just as these people did not recognize Allah as Allah when they made a covenant with Allah (in Kalubala). They waited for an Allah that their own minds could comprehend. When they are gathered on the Judgment Day, they will be under the same feelings, waiting for their Lord, whom their minds have made up, leaving Allah, their true Lord. In this waiting, they will have taken the life of eternal hell as their own.

Such people have certainly suffered loss. For they have wronged themselves by abandoning the right path in favor of falsehood and the crooked paths forbidden by Allah. They will have no intercessor or helper in the Hereafter.

What is said in the video

In Surah Yunus, verse 45: on the day Allah resurrects and gathers them, as if they thought they had stayed but an hour of the day, they will recognize one another. Those who denied meeting Allah have surely lost. For they were not on the right path, it says. The Day of Judgment will come. The Day of Judgment. People imagine the Day of Judgment in various ways. Yet if we go by the verses of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty describes the Day of Judgment so beautifully. The mountains passed like clouds. The seas swelled. The earth threw out what was inside it. The sky flowed like molten metal; when He says this, what do we understand?

What do we understand? That this established order, the seven heavens, collapse into one another, and that the established order falls apart, that is what we understand. In that case, when does the Day of Judgment come? Allah Almighty made a covenant with our souls, with our souls, in the realm of Lahut. He raised them to the realm of Barzakh. After He Himself appointed the future time of each of our souls, until that future time He arranged the setting up, the founding of the world by His knowledge, Allah Almighty. Again, this Day of Judgment that people will bring about with their own hands, Allah Almighty, the perfect events He made within their order, again, people with their own hands will bring about this Day of Judgment; and that people will keep coming until the end, when not a single person is left to come from Barzakh, and that one too has proven himself in the world, at that moment the Day of Judgment will break out.

Before the Day of Judgment comes, a wind called Samyeli will blow. Samyeli: "sam" means death; a wind of death will blow. This wind of death, (?), upon the Muslims, since the Day of Judgment will not break upon them, a light sleep will come to the Muslims. With this sleep, Allah's command will come upon them; they will die. The Day of Judgment will break upon the other people. In that case, after the Day of Judgment, we will lie under the earth for many thousands of years, Allah knows best. Now Allah Almighty tells us: when you are raised again in the hereafter, when you are resurrected, when people recognize one another, He says.

That is, when they talk with each other and ask each other questions, they will say: I wonder how long we lay under the earth? And He says: as though they thought they had stayed but an hour of the day, thinking so. One hour. Just as we go to sleep. When we wake up we say, maybe we slept 3-4 hours. We say, maybe we slept part of the day. However long we lie under this earth, when we rise, an hour of the day, He says. We will think we stayed under the earth for a time like an hour of the day.

Yes. Now Allah Almighty makes us live through certain events.

We made a covenant in the realm of Lahut.

We were raised to the realm of Barzakh. How long we stayed there, Allah knows best. Our father Adam came into the world. Thousands of years passed since our father Adam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) came into the world. And then, some fourteen hundred years later, we came into the world. How much time has passed from there until now, I wonder? It is not known. Perhaps like the blink of an eye. That simple, really. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. The coming of the Day of Judgment and our resurrection there are just like this. How long we stayed there before coming here is not known. Since those realms are closed to us, we cannot imagine them now.

But when we are resurrected there, after living in this realm, we will perhaps say it was like an hour of the day. Yes. How beautiful it is. Allah Almighty has you draw an equation between them. An equation. In that case, on the day He resurrects and gathers them, they will recognize one another. Those who denied meeting Allah have surely lost. Lost. Not a material loss in this world; in the world you can go bankrupt many times. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says it too: the bankrupt of my ummah, he says, is not the one who goes bankrupt in the world, he says, it is the one who goes bankrupt in the hereafter; the one who goes to the hereafter not with his good deeds but with a load of sins has gone bankrupt. For they did not take the right path, because Allah Almighty, through His prophets, His books, His scholars, explains the truth to people.

He has it explained. I will not call you to account, He says, for what you did not hear. So there is no one left who has not heard. No one who has not heard. Upon this, those who still shut their eyes and stop their ears and have their hearts sealed, people who in the world, when they hear the word of truth, become like clouds in the sky about to burst, in that case, of course, those who do not believe they will be raised in the hereafter will come to ruin there, on a day when "alas" is worth nothing. They will lose. They will be among the losers. When Allah Almighty says, My mercy in the universe is for everyone, in the hereafter only for the believer, when Allah Almighty withdraws His mercy from the non-Muslims, neither a prophet nor a friend of Allah nor anyone granted intercession will intercede for them, and they will part from them and, deprived of Allah's mercy, take the road to eternal hell.

Yes.

Allah Almighty, who created time within time, again says in a verse: a thousand years of this world are like one day of the hereafter. One day. Accordingly, when people die and are buried, and the realms of the hereafter raise them again and they rise, they will think they lay in their graves for about an hour. About an hour.

Yet in another verse Allah Almighty says: ask the angels charged with keeping count of how long they lay under the earth. So they stay for so many thousands of years. And I proved this to you a moment ago, how nicely. Our creation in the realm of Lahut, Allah Almighty saying "I am your Lord," His making a covenant there with each of our souls, His writing our wish as destiny for us, then our being raised to Barzakh: how long did these stay there, or rather did we stay there, how long? For it is Allah Almighty who created these realms from the light of the Prophet, and in his soul created the souls of the prophets, and in their souls the souls of the peoples.

Before the world was created, before the world or the universe was created, He created us, created us. He made a covenant with us, raised us to Barzakh. After that the realms were created. Since the realms were created from the light of the Prophet, it means the Prophet exists. The realms were created. These realms: when He says the earth in two days, the heavens in two days, and what is between them in two days, these are not earthly days; if a thousand years here are like one day of the hereafter, then, by the six days of the hereafter, since these realms were created in six thousand years, six thousand years, within six thousand years; and that is only the creation. After that, how long after did our father Adam come into the world, how much time passed with the prophets in between, before Christ and after Christ, there is before Christ: within that time people came; after Christ, from the birth of Jesus (?) until the time of the Prophet, sir, six hundred and some years passed, and until now fourteen hundred years have passed, fourteen hundred years.

Well, in the realm of Lahut, when our Lord said "Alastu bi Rabbikum" and we made the covenant, we were aware of ourselves, we were aware of ourselves. How do you know, Hodja, that we were aware of ourselves? Ah. In Surah Al-Waqi'ah: "iza balaghati'l-hulqum", when the soul reaches the throat, He says. Come on, bring it back then, He says. The door of repentance is closed. Why? He shows you the realm of the hereafter, those places you came from. He shows you the covenant, the moment your Lord said "I am." "Send me back," (?). Even if We sent you back not once but several times, you would do the same thing again. So if we saw that realm, and if thousands of years have passed from that realm until now, it feels like a moment to us.

It feels as if no time has passed at all. We think we have just opened our eyes in the world.

Yes. We opened our eyes in the world. So many years have passed behind us. Not even so many years have passed. An hour has passed, by the hereafter. Allah Almighty created time within time. So how long will we lie under the earth? When we rise there, some will say like an hour, some will say like a day, and the wise one, He says, the wise one will say we lay about half a day. He asks the angels charged with keeping count of how long you lay under the earth. In that case Allah Almighty gives the most direct answer. The truth is: like an hour. Like an hour. Yes.

So those who thought dying and rising again was not true,

when they are gathered at the place of assembly, will begin to recognize one another. We did not really expect rising after death. But today we see that it is true, they will say, and people with faith like themselves, saying "but today we see that it is true," they will seek people with faith like themselves as their support. People with faith. "Weren't we with you too?" That's what the hypocrites used to say. When a victory came to Islam, to get a share of the spoils they said, "We were with you too." And if a victory were to come to the disbelievers, "We were not with the Muslims. We helped you. Had we been with them, we would have killed you.

Let us also benefit from these spoils," they will say to them too. Yes. So there too these people, "weren't we together in the world? Even though we did not believe," today they will call it true and seek those people as their supporters.

Yes. People with faith like themselves, as support for themselves; that is, saying "today we see it is true," they will seek people with faith like themselves as their support, and will try to find help from people. Here we say "like themselves," but here it is necessary to (?). Not "like themselves." We say "people with faith like themselves," but here these are people without faith. Here we will say "these people without faith." Sir, they will seek people with faith as their support and will try to find help from people.

Let's correct that.

Yes.

Yes. These people without faith will seek people with faith as their support and will try to find help from people. Not from Allah. Just as these people, when they made the covenant with Allah at "Qalu bala," did not recognize Allah as Allah. They waited for an Allah shaped by the scope of their own minds. Yes. If you say, Hodja, are you making this up? We are not making it up. We say it according to the verses. According to which verse? They will not see their Lord. So if they will not see their Lord; and people, when interpreting these, copy one another so much, since there is no knowledge, they all interpret them the same way. Some supposedly say this means Allah will be seen in paradise.

Others say these will be raised blind in hell, and so on, with words like that; they say made-up words according to their own minds. Yet when He says they will not see their Lord, Allah Almighty (?). Because they wait for the Lord of their own imagination, they know they were created. "Qalu bala," they said yes, He says. Yes. They said yes. Why did they say yes? We were created. We have a Lord. We have a Lord. But when he sees the One before him like himself, he denies Him. He waits for the Lord of his own imagination. The Lord of his own imagination. So when He says they will not see their Lord, Allah Almighty: there is no god besides Allah for them to see the Lord they imagined.

Yes.

Under the same feelings, they will again leave Allah, their true Lord, and again wait for the Lord shaped by the scope of their minds. In this waiting they will have registered the eternal life of hell in their own name. Go ahead.

They wait for the Allah of their imagination, but then how does the covenant happen, Hodja? I wait for the Allah of my imagination, but then how do I make a covenant with my Lord? How do you make a covenant? All right. If you don't believe, how do you make a covenant? Now Allah Almighty addresses people. I am your Lord, He says. There they are divided into three. "Wa kuntum azwajan thalathah." Azwaj: three generations descending from one another, three groups. Those of the right, those of the left, and the class of the Muqarrabin.

According to that address, because they see Allah Almighty like themselves, they do not believe. What do they call this? Lying kafirs, Allah Almighty calls them, lying kafirs. Although they know they were created, the mind He gave that soul (?), He has programmed their speech too, He knows. In that case he cannot grasp that Allah Almighty is Allah, but he knows that he himself was created. He created [Him] like himself in his own imagination, (?), he does not recognize Allah as Allah, but waits for the Lord of his imagination. In that case Allah Almighty appoints a time for them. He does not make the covenant with them all at once.

Although the Prophet, as a supporter beside Him, says "yes, this is our Lord," still, because they wait for the Lord of their imagination, they cannot trust Allah Almighty, the Lord who created them, as their Lord. That is, they cannot know. In that case, because they imagine the Lord of their own imagination, Allah Almighty this time makes a covenant with people one by one. He comes to him. No comparison is perfect, mind you. No comparison is perfect. Accept Me as the Creator. Accept yourselves as servants I created. I tell you: I am your Lord.

Exactly like that. Some of them say, yes, we were created. They trust. They (?). Others say, You are not. Let's say you denied Me. You are waiting for the Lord of your imagination. I come to you.

I am your Lord. You say, You are not. Well, I am not. In which time do you want to go to the world? I show you. Now, with the feelings of your nafs, you choose a certain time. A certain time. Within that time you say, let me come at this time. Allah Almighty knows all your feelings. All your feelings. According to those feelings, whatever you desired, He places characters in you. Within those characters your desire and wish, your will, becomes your destiny. It is that simple, really. You make a covenant with Allah even if you don't accept. Of course you do. Even if you don't accept. He also shows you the realms.

When will you go? And why does He show them? So that people cannot say, if You had sent me at such a time, I would have worshipped You better. Here, because the person chooses those times himself, suited to his own characters, his own desire, wish and feeling, because he longs for the setting of that time, Allah Almighty works those characters into him. And when they come in this time, they adapt to the time. The generations coming after us have a capacity to adapt to this computer age. Those after us. Those before us also want their own times. Because they know they could not adapt to this time, they do not want this time.

That is why no one can blame Allah, saying, if You had sent me at such a time I would have done this. The polytheist, the non-Muslim, the Muslim: all of them, with Allah Almighty, make a covenant one by one. Even the one who denies Him, however much he does, He makes a covenant with each one by one. His covenant becomes destiny for people. Do you understand now? Yes. Otherwise deny as much as you like. Allah Almighty still comes to you. He comes to you and makes a covenant with you. How do you know, Hodja? How do you know? One. I know it from verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf. One. We made a covenant with those who would emerge from the offspring of the children of Adam.

What does this mean? It means He makes the covenant one by one. Two. Through a spiritual realm, I saw that realm. I saw it. Both our Lord saying "I am your Lord," and the Prophet supporting our Lord as Lord and telling people, "This is our Lord." A group of prophets standing in front and obeying Allah. Plus, He comes to me too.

From where will you go? Which time do you want? He shows from the time of the Prophet onward.

I am wary of that time. That is why I love the Companions so much. I (?) no one against him.

I want this time.

He says to me, come, go in such a time. Come and go. Come and go like a commoner, He says. The times when (?) were ploughed with a pair of oxen. And I say, Allah Almighty, let the rank be high, and let me come in this time, I say. But you will slip, He says. If I am going to slip, protect me in Your mercy, and take my life before I slip, I say. What is this if not a covenant? What is this if not a covenant? Can you imagine that in this covenant I am not destined for paradise? By this covenant. You make a covenant with Allah Almighty. So since I have not slipped, I will still fulfil my duty. Telling Allah to take my life before I slip, before He would say "go to hell," I make the covenant. Who (?) shows loyalty as much as Allah?

If this is my covenant, then I am destined for paradise. So in every age there are the Ashara al-Mubashshara. In every age. That is, there are those given the glad tidings of paradise. Just as there are Companions in every age. Companions; in every age there are the Ashara al-Mubashshara. But in the time of the Prophet these are known. In those after, these are recorded.

Is it understood now? Yes.

There is no such thing as it can only be in that time and not in this time. He is a human, you are a human too. He is bound by those verses, you are bound by those verses. So if you (?) your nafs like him, you reach the same state. If he says "the saint of my ummah is like a prophet of (?)," is he saying this? In that case, if he is bound by the verses of Allah Almighty and explains them to people as one charged by our Lord, then in that case this person sees his covenant with his Lord, knows what kind of covenant passed between him and his Lord; if he is at the level of the other prophets, even though he cannot reach the state of that prophet, he sees those realms.

Those who see these realms, who know their covenant; and those who see them, it is not only you. Not only me, that is. Because when We raise a scholar, above him a scholar, above him a scholar We raise, He says. So it means there are scholars above one another. In that case, just as there are Companions in every age, in every age there are also the Ashara al-Mubashshara. But limited minds, especially those who cannot know the spiritual realms, who cannot grasp these states, who, influenced by the books they read literally, are bound by the opinions of Ahmet and Mehmet, who instead of the verses of Allah take the judgment of Ahmet and Mehmet as their motto, cannot comprehend this.

In that case they label the person before them a zindiq. In fact they themselves are the zindiq, the very zindiq. Yes.

These are deep matters. I don't want to go into them with you. They cloud your minds and lead people into dead ends. Because these are very deep meanings. To come to these, one must pass through many stages. One must know many realms. Now, what can this be compared to? Let me tell you what. You describe the sun to someone born blind. Go ahead, look. What can he understand? He understands as far as he can imagine. And he may believe or not. Because he lives in his own world.

That is why these are deep matters. One should not go into them. That is why the Prophet also says, speak to people according to their minds. According to their minds. Yes.

Such people have surely lost. That is, if we take it from the previous sentence: when they are gathered at the place of assembly, again under the same feelings, they will leave Allah, their true Lord, and again wait for the Lord shaped by the scope of their minds. In this waiting they will have registered the eternal life of hell in their own name. Such people have surely lost. Because they left the right path and, preferring falsehood and the crooked paths that Allah (?), wronged themselves. In the hereafter they will have neither an intercessor nor a helper. Yes.
