(Then,) if the oppressors owned all the wealth on earth, they would all sacrifice it (to save themselves from punishment). And when they see the punishment, they exhibit their regret. They will be judged with justice and they will not be committed oppression against.
Tafsir
When they realize that the promise of Allah (swt) in the Hereafter is true, when they see the torment there and realize that they will not be saved, they wish that the wealth of the earth were theirs and that they could sacrifice it to escape the torment. When the disbelievers, polytheists and hypocrites, those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, are faced with the torment they will be dragged into, a fear grips them, and the distress and heat of this fear envelops their whole being, and they are burning even before they enter the torment. Allah will judge between them with justice. Because Allah does not intend injustice to anyone. He will not wrong them either. But those are the ones who wrong their own souls for what they have earned.
What is said in the video
Then
everyone who did wrong, even if they owned all the wealth on earth — how nice, now, it came to the state of a person carrying the burden of a matter I spoke about. Then everyone who did wrong, even if they owned all the wealth on earth, would surely give it up to escape the punishment And when they see the punishment, they burn inwardly. Judgment is passed between them with justice, and they are not wronged. O human! Come to your senses. Come to your senses. Your Lord who created you offered you all His blessings in the world, yet you follow the desires of the nafs and speak words that please people, and if you turn your back on Allah's verses, then eleysallahu bi'ahkemi'l-hakimin — Allah Almighty, the Judge of judges, when He sets up the Great Court — our Lord, who has neither a spouse, nor a partner, nor any helper — according to the verse in which He says 'that day judgment belongs to Allah alone', when you are gathered in the divine presence, when you have nowhere to flee, you will wish that there were another world as big as this world, and full as well, so you could give it to Allah Almighty as ransom and be saved, it says.
Allah is the Creator. The Creator has no need of what He created. In this case, speaking in a way that pleases people is a nice thing. But if you speak under the (?) of the verses, it is far better. If you speak crookedly, in a way that drags people into disasters, this speech of yours may perhaps seem nice to that person (?), but someone else will condemn you. Five or six months ago I was in Ordu.
I got tired in front of the Ziraat Bank. There are seats. I sat down.
A seagull pooped on a man's head.
It pooped on his jacket too. The man took it off. There's water there, nice. He cleaned his hat. And while he was cleaning his jacket I said to the man: good for you, look, a provision came to you from the air. There is provision, I said. The man said: my age has passed, he said. Provision not given when it passed — what use is it to me in my need, he said.
What will one do who was not given (?) in the world? He too — to everyone, Allah's servants.
Be sensible, sensible; speak rightly, rightly. Don't lead people astray. Muslims are very naive, pure people.
Don't mislead them. Don't take on the burden of their sins. Yes.
And when they see the punishment, they burn inwardly. Inwardly. Because in a realm, a return again (?). Judgment is passed between them with justice, and they are not wronged. Well, how are they not wronged? They (?) the fire of Hell — isn't this injustice? Allah Almighty judges with His attribute of justice. He does not send them there. Those people send themselves there. While in the world, with fame, renown, pride, arrogance, egotism, grandeur and desire, with traits like worldly desire, people walk on; they eat and drink the blessings Allah gave and benefit from them, and even worse, what Allah created, with his own hand he carves, calls it a god and associates partners with Allah; what he should ask of Allah he asks of what Allah created; he makes a vow (?) to it, and when the vow is fulfilled within his destiny, he (?) it to the god he carved with his hand. And he does not fail in his vow to it; he sacrifices his offering.
Do such people never use their minds?
That this power, possessing a knowledge, a secret that created the worlds, hopes for help from a piece of wood he made with his own hand, which is not even aware of itself. That brings a person down to the lowest of the low. That is, they are like four-legged beasts roaming the earth, (?) even more astray, it says. At least an animal, according to the nature within it, is programmed, and does its duty according to that program. But this human is equipped with reason; that this human, equipped with reason, this human, the most honored creation, behaves even more vilely than an animal in his actions — surely this brings him into misguidance and into a state even lower than an animal.
Yes.
In the hereafter, when they understand that Allah Almighty's promise is true, when they see the punishment there and realize they cannot escape, they wish the wealth of the earth were theirs, so that by giving up this wealth they could escape the punishment; so the unbelievers, the polytheists, the hypocrites, those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day — in the face of this punishment they will be dragged into, an inner fear seizes them, and the distress and heat this fear brings surrounds their whole being, and before even entering the punishment these people burn inwardly. How do you know it is like this, Hodja?
How do you know? This is not a book written in the usual way. It is a book written with the feelings and experiences our Lord gave us. Yes. This is what Harun Binali spoke of: beyond the er, the man of God, the kutb, and beyond that kutb, the one who knows the secret — that Allah Almighty gives him the verses, gives him wisdom, makes him live the secret in those verses, and (?) that experience here.
Yes.
So Allah judges between them with justice. Because Allah wills injustice to no one. He wrongs neither these nor those. But these are the ones who, as recompense for what they earned, wronged their own selves.
