Allah resurrects and deals death and you will only be returned to Allah.
Tafsir
He it is Who creates out of nothing, creates what He wills, gives life to His creatures, sustains them until a certain time, is aware of all His creatures, He is the One who both resurrects and slays. To Him alone you will be returned.
All this creation was not created in vain. They were created to be placed at the disposal of man. Man was also created to be the addressee of Allah's Essence and to know His Essence. In this respect, our return is to Allah to account for what we have done.

We close there.
Surah Yunus, verse 56: He both gives life and causes death, and to Him alone you will be returned. This bringing into being from nothing, from being to nothing, and from nothing to being, belongs to Allah alone. So Allah is the One who brings into being from nothing, creates what He wills, gives life to what He creates, keeps them alive until a set time, is aware of all He has created; He is the One who both gives life and causes death. To Him alone you will be returned. When it says 'causes death', you don't escape through death. Again, you will be returned to Him.
All these created things were not created in vain. Created things are beings created to be placed at the human's command. In the stars too? Yes. Yes. We made the lights of the sky an adornment for you, it says; for everyone to go to the adornment, it tells us too to go there, with verses: you, even if you went to the farthest corner of the heavens to flee death, We would find you there too — according to this verse; and according to this verse, I always say: (?) in the farthest corner of the heavens there is life, life just like the life of this world, and they are finding it. Yes. And people will go there.
The verse, (?). I was saying this before they had even gone there. According to the verses. Today all of this is coming true.
All these created things were not created in vain. Then why were they created? Even these worlds that were not placed at the human's command were created so that a human would look at them, take a lesson, say 'there is One who created this', and submit to Allah. Yes. Created things are beings created to be placed at the human's command. And the human was created to be addressed by Allah's essence and to know His essence. Therefore our return is to Allah, to account for what we did. We passed over this part somewhat roughly.
Müslim Paşa says: I upload our talks to our website. Everyone can download them from there, he says. And they can upload them to whatever sites they want themselves, Hodja, he says. He's right. You take it, let them upload. Let them hear.
Let them know the world is not left to itself.
Yes.
We say the human is addressed by Allah's essence. Because Allah Almighty willed that His essence be known. In this case He gave the human a part of His own spirit. The Essence — more precisely, He willed that His essence be known to His essence. He gave him a part of His spirit. And He left that spirit free in its own will. Everything besides this He programmed within His own will. In that case their rewards and sins were removed. People's rewards and sins, within the partial will they exercise, are their own; they became responsible to Allah Almighty. Yes. So when we say the human was created to be addressed by Allah's essence and to know His essence, we mean these points too.
Therefore our return is to Allah, to account for what we did.
As I always say, if we had written these out in detail, you know, a camel couldn't carry the load. A camel's load.
Imagine, this verse opened by the other verses, that verse opened by those verses. You will support them with one another.
Time wouldn't suffice either.
The Prophet (peace be upon him): people need this, bring it out as soon as possible — with his saying this, we opened it up as far as we could, compiled it and brought it out.
Yes.
