They said; “Did you come to turn us away from that which we found our forefathers upon, and so that greatness belongs to you two? We are not to believe in you.”
Tafsir
When Hazrat Moses invited them to the truth, they disobeyed him and said, "We have found our fathers in this religion". Since immorality and all kinds of egoism and pride caress the human ego, such people are fools who think that even if they see the truth, they can get away with blaming their so-called crimes on their fathers. Every soul is responsible for itself. Therefore, when they are invited to the truth, they do not want to believe in Allah and the Hereafter, even though they see the truth.
Do these people say, "We found our fathers in this religion," if their fathers were a people of unintelligent minds? They will still follow the falsehood that their fathers invented as religion. Nay. They are people who follow their own ego.
(When they say, "Have you come to us so that you may turn us away from our religion, and that you may have dominion over the earth?", they are proving that they will not turn to Allah. The fact that they say (we will not believe you) afterwards shows that no human being can change his covenant, that he will not compromise with the falsehood he believes in because he desires what he desires in the realm of property as he desired it in the past, and because this desire and desire is pleasing to him.
Allah (swt) has also sent people to a realm of the unseen. In order to prevent people from falling into the mistakes that such people fall into, He sends Prophets, Verses and miracles to people, and He gives examples to people by narrating past events. Through these miracles and signs, He makes people acquainted with Him and asks them to return to Allah, their Lord.
What is said in the video
Yes, verse 78: They said, "Was it to turn us away from the religion you found our fathers on, and so that greatness on earth be yours, you two, that you came to us? Yet we are not going to believe you," it says. Pharaoh says this. Pharaoh. Yes.
Here.
Against Moses' invitation of them to the truth, against the invitation, this people, opposing Moses, said, "We found our fathers on this religion."
Allah Almighty answers them like this in a verse: "Even if they understand nothing, know nothing," (?). "You are on the path they went." Yes.
Because immorality and every kind of egotism and pride flatter the human self, such people, even if they see the truth, think that by supposedly putting their guilt on their fathers' backs they will be saved; they are fools.
Every soul is responsible for itself.
Therefore, since the word of truth weighs heavy on them, they, when they are invited to the truth, although they see the truth, do not want to believe in Allah and the hereafter. These people saying, "We found our fathers on this world": if their fathers were a (?) whose minds did not reach, (?), will they still run after the falsehood their fathers made up as religion? No. They are people who run after their own selves. Their own selves. Their saying, "To turn us away from the religion and so that greatness on earth be the two of yours, did you come to us?" with this, these people in fact prove that they will not return to Allah.
And indeed their saying right after, "We will not believe you": that no person can change his covenant, and his own intention, just as he desired it at the beginning, in the realm of dominion too desiring it. Since this wish and desire pleases him, that from the falsehood he believes in he will not budge: they laid this out before people's eyes.
Why does Allah Almighty, although He knows they will not believe, send prophets?
Why does He send them messengers? He knows they will not believe. Allah Almighty is free of any deficient attribute. Tomorrow, on the Day of Judgment: "My Allah, I knew it like this. I had seen it like this from my father too.
In this situation, You should have sent me a messenger or a herald. I would have known You."
So that they do not say this, Allah Almighty, according to the verse "For a thing We have not made heard We hold no one responsible," to them makes the truth heard. He knows, of course, they will not come. They will not come to the right path. He knows them. Yes. So Allah Almighty has sent people to an unseen world. So that they do not fall into the mistakes such people fell into, by sending people prophets, verses and miracles, and by telling past events, He gives people lessons. Lessons. For example, although Moses warned Pharaoh so much, drowning Pharaoh in the Red Sea: "Today your lifeless body," He says, "We will leave as a lesson for the worlds," He says.
In that case, We will leave him dead. And finally the English find him in the Red Sea, in the sea, on top of a high rock, in a position of prostration. When they took him to their own country, they put him in a museum. In a museum, Pharaoh. And the prostration position bothers them, so they lay him on his side. Yes.
So despite seeing so many miracles, despite knowing that Allah exists, despite seeing the verses clearly, despite searching there and finding him, still, out of pride and arrogance, unable to prostrate to Allah, they undo his prostration position and lay him on his side, display him that way, and do not enter Islam. These miracles and lessons, by making His Self known to people, so that they return to their Lord, Allah,
