Translation

When they threw (their ropes), Moses said; “What you have brought is sorcery. Allah will make it fail because Allah does not correct the works of the mischievous ones.”

Tafsir

Then the magicians threw out their ropes and it appeared to the people in the form of a great dragon and the people were very frightened by this sight. Then Moses said to the magicians, "What you have done is magic, transgression, mischief, mischief-making, and mischief-making. But Allah will void what you have done and will show you the truth. He throws his staff on the ground by Allah's command and swallows and cleanses what the magicians showed to the people in the form of a dragon. Seeing this, the magicians realized that they were in disbelief, for they had done their greatest magic, and that magic had no value in the face of the truth. They immediately believed in Moses. Then Pharaoh said to the magicians, "How can you believe in Moses without my permission? He wanted to intimidate his people by saying, "I will cross your hands and feet.

Throw it out, let me show. Yes.

In verse 81, too: when they threw their ropes, Moses said, “What you have brought is magic. Allah will bring it to nothing. For Allah does not set right the work of the corrupters.”

When the magicians threw the ropes out, with a tremendous deception of the eyes they frightened the people. Each a dragon, in the shape of snakes, each a dragon (?). Even Pharaoh and his henchmen drew back. That is, they were afraid. Sir, in this way Allah Almighty, to Moses: “O Moses, the staff in your hand” — he threw the staff. The staff in his hand. When he throws it, it swallows those spells whole. Upon this, when the magicians threw their ropes out, in the shape of a great dragon it appeared to people. And the people were very afraid of this sight. Upon this Moses said to the magicians, “What you have done is magic.

It is wickedness. It is throwing everything into turmoil. It is bringing everything to ruin. But Allah will bring what you have done to nothing. He will show you the truth. For Allah does not set right the work of the corrupters,” saying this, by Allah's command he throws his staff to the ground. And what the magicians made, what they showed people in the shape of dragons, it swallows and clears away.

The magicians who saw this, from what their greatest magic had done, seeing that before the truth magic has no worth, realised that they were in kufr and at once believed in Moses. Upon this Pharaoh said to the magicians, “How can you believe in Moses without my permission? Let your hands and feet be (?) crosswise,” and saying this he also intimidated his people. Yes.
