Moses said; “Oh my people! If you believed in Allah and if you only submitted to Allah, trust and depend only on Allah.”
Tafsir
According to the decision taken by his people, Hazrat Moses turned to his people and said: O my people! If you have believed in Allah, if you have surrendered to Him wholeheartedly, then trust in Allah alone and lean on Him, for He is Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
All souls will taste death. In the Hereafter, people will be accountable for their deeds only before Allah, the Owner of the worlds. Unless Allah wills, mankind will have neither a helper nor an intercessor.
People who put their trust in Allah and rely on Allah alone will never be victimized and will never fall on their backs. Because Allah, the Owner of the universe, by His servants trusting in Him and relying on Him and submitting to Him, Allah, the Wise, elevates them in ways that are beyond human comprehension and makes them heirs of the Hereafter, the abode of eternal bliss.
When such servants whom He loves live on earth, He gives them events that seem like calamities, and these people know that they come from Allah, they realize that Allah is subjecting them to a test, and they are patient. Allah will exalt them in His sight.
