Translation

(Allah) said; “The prayers of both of you were accepted. So, continue with being truthful and do not follow the path of those ignorant ones.”

Tafsir

Allah said to Moses: O Moses! Allah has accepted the prayer of both of you. So continue in righteousness. That is, continue in the Shari'ah of Allah. Believe in Allah and the Hereafter and perform your prayers properly.

Do not follow the way of those who have not believed in Allah and the Hereafter, and keep away from what they say and from what is pleasing to your souls to turn you away from your religion, so that you may prosper. Otherwise, the way of those who do not know themselves and do not recognize Allah and His Messenger is a dark and marshy path. And the end of that path is Hell, an evil place of return and everlasting torment.

What is said in the video

Allah Almighty says in this verse: the prayer of both of you has been accepted. So continue on the right path and do not follow the way of those who do not know, He said. That is, He said the prayer of both of you has been accepted. Allah Almighty charged Moses and Aaron (peace be upon them), that He had accepted their prayers. Allah Almighty said to Moses: O Moses, Allah has accepted the prayer of both of you. So continue on the right path. That is, continue on the sharia of Allah. Believe in Allah and the Hereafter, perform your prayer properly. Do not follow the way of those who have not believed in Allah and the Hereafter.

Stay away from what they say and from what seems pleasing to your nafs to turn you from your religion, from such things, so that you may attain salvation. Otherwise, the way taken by those who listen to themselves and do not recognize Allah and the Messenger is a dark and swampy way. That way, in the end, is an eternal torment in Hell, what an evil place of return. Now, a question like this may come to our mind here. O Moses, Allah has accepted the prayer of both of you. So continue on the right path, that is, continue on the sharia of Allah. Believe in Allah and the Hereafter, perform your prayer properly, He says.

We know, we know that when the Prophet Muhammad ascended in the Mi'raj, Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty, to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sends the prayer as a gift for his ummah. The prayer. He gives the five daily prayers as a gift.

How is the prayer of the other ummahs in this regard? How is their prayer? With the complete pillars of the prayer, Allah Almighty, having completed His religion with the religion of Islam, with the Quran, having completed it by the ruling of the Quran, with the verse 'Inne'd-dîne indallâhi'l-Islâm', within this complete religion, with the complete pillars of the prayer, began the prayer for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). That is, standing with the takbir, why did we say that? For the prayer of the time, standing with the takbir, then ruku, then standing again, then prostration, then tahiyyat, then prostration, standing again, the second time sitting for the tahiyyat.

In this way Allah Almighty, with its complete pillars, has granted this prayer to the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), since it is above the other ummahs, performs the prayer together with its complete pillars and through faith in Allah attains, above the other ummahs, an honoured station. How do we understand this? 'I have made you a witness over the other prophets, and your ummah a witness over the other ummahs,' He says. So the ummah of the Prophet, the ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him), that is, we Muslims, are an honoured ummah over the other ummahs.

We are honoured people. In this case. So how is their prayer? More lacking. Similar to this, but lacking. For example, let us say it has standing but no prostration. Or it has tahiyyat but no standing. That is, something like this; how exactly they perform it, I do not know. But they perform it incompletely. The whole of it is specific to the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). For example, the Jews' way of worship: they have wailing walls. Walls; they go to those walls, with the books in their hands, thinking they are worshipping, and hang about there. They tell things to it. And how many words they say that (?) Allah.

Such is their way of worship. But the true worship, which the Prophet brought to his ummah, Allah Almighty's gift, the prayer, with its complete pillars, with its standing, its ruku, its prostration, its tahiyyat, He has granted to the ummah of the Prophet. And this ummah is honoured over the other ummahs and a witness over them. Yes. In this way we have more or less understood the prayer of the other ummahs too.
