And they mocked: “when we become bones and decayed particles, we will be resurrected with a new creation again, really?”
Tafsir
People who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter deny the Hereafter by making up their own minds that there will be no resurrection after death. However, they never think, did this universe and the beings created in it come into existence on their own? Did this world and this order come into existence by itself? Is there life and vitality in this universe, but this order was created by beings without life and vitality? Or did all the creatures created in this universe, endowed with knowledge, create themselves? Therefore, if Allah, who created these worlds out of nothing, has created what He intended, it is easier for Him to destroy and create it again than to create it the first time.
People are openly rebellious against Allah, Who created mankind from a mere water, saying, "Shall we be resurrected after death? They reveal their disbelief in Allah by saying. Is it difficult for Allah to create you first? Or is it harder to create you again after you have been created and then destroy you? Of course the first creation is more difficult. Because it is difficult to create a substance out of nothing. He says that once that matter is created, it is not difficult for Allah to kill it and create it again.
Think of a grain of wheat; is it difficult to create it first? Or is it difficult to plant this grain of wheat in the field and get seeds from it? Of course the first creation is difficult. So Allah created man. He placed a cell in the human body that will never die, rot or burn. It is through this cell that man will be resurrected with a new resurrection on the Day of Judgment. Our bodies will come out of the earth as crops come out of the earth in crop fields. Since the soul and the body are programmed as receivers and transmitters of the same frequencies, they will immediately find each other in the Judgment.
Allah says, "When you come before Me with a driver," and our bodies will bear witness to our souls, then He says, "We will resurrect you twice and kill you twice," and our bodies will die a second time, and as they die, He will say, "You are being returned to the first creator. Eternally, our bodies will die and become dust, never to be resurrected.
Those who are ignorant of Allah's existence do not want to accept Allah's existence out of spite and arrogance, even though they see His greatness and power everywhere. They increase their disbelief by arguing that there is no resurrection after death. These are the torment and hell.
What is said in the video
It was verse 49 of Surah Al-Isra, I think; we stopped there. Allah Almighty, in His noble verse, in translation: "And they said ..." – who are they? "They," He said: the disbelievers. The disbelievers. I mean, we said, something like this comes to our mind. Among those listening to us there may perhaps be people of little understanding. Or, because their knowledge is little, out of their faith, seeing them as human too, in that way they might say, "Hodja, why does it call these disbelievers?" But if in Surah Ya-Sin, in many verses, in the Quran Allah Almighty addresses them as disbelievers, then since we too are obliged to explain our Lord's word to people with verses, we address them too with the attribute, the attribute of disbelievers.
In this case they said, "Really, when we have become a heap of bones and rotten earth, will we be resurrected in a brand-new creation?" it says. That is, again in Ya-Sin, Allah Almighty says this, (?): We created them from a lowly water. Today they have turned into rebels, it says.
"Us," it says, "after we have rotted, after becoming (?) bones, will they resurrect us?" it says. Well, it says to them, "The One who created you first will not find the final resurrection hard," it says. Of course; look how clear the verses are. Is it harder to bring something into existence from nothing? Or, after bringing something into existence, to keep it going? For example, let's say: is it harder to create a grain of wheat? Or to reproduce this grain of wheat and get many wheat grains? The seed is inside it. So in the human too there is a cell which, they say, is in the tailbone. It neither burns, nor rots, nor breaks.
In the sixth layer, what is called the sea of secret – and the reason for the name sea of secret is that no water can return that human cell to its origin. It will be watered from the water there called the sea of secret. Is it in a verse? Allah Almighty: "We," it says, "when We water you with a water," it says. Yes. Noble verse. "When We water you with a water," it says, "from the earth, to the tips of your fingers, you will rise fully complete," it says. Fully complete. Then, then they will unite with the souls, sir. "When the souls are paired." According to that noble verse, we will go to the reckoning in the presence of our Lord.
To the reckoning.
This event, (?), and with his tiny mind he says, "We," "after becoming a piece of rotten bone," he says, "will we be resurrected again?" he says. Is that what he says? Well, can't you think about this at all? How were you created?
Indeed. When you look around you, you see everything created with knowledge. With knowledge. Your eye is a camera; it takes and gives instantly. (?). There are machines, cameras. Even that corresponds to a span of time. Your ears are a radio device. They don't pick up all sounds. In Spain there are bats such that the (?) screams – if the human ear heard them, pregnant women would miscarry from fear. Heart patients would die of heart failure, it says. Yes. Your lungs are a laboratory machine. Today, according to what scientists say, even a laboratory as big as the world could only just do the job of that lung of the human, it says.
Your heart is a wound-up spring. And your brain, perhaps encircling the world, with these kilometers of vessels within meters, is equipped with a memory. Did this come about by itself, just like that? And if you look at your world, at the sun and moon system – at the world, the sun and the moon, when you take a look, Allah Almighty, who placed the lunar system in the sky – did this world, the sun and the moon, by themselves acquire reason and life and bring about the lunar system there?
If there had been one more god who created these, who brought them into being from nothing, then – Allah Almighty says this: That one would take what it created, and the other would take what it created, and everything would sink in corruption, it says. That there is no other god besides Him, Allah Almighty also proves with this verse: The heavens and the earth and what is between them have known your Lord's remembrance, it says. That is, Allah Almighty has given the atoms of all substances, magnetic or anti-magnetic, those atoms' nuclei, neutrons and protons, such qualities that while these positively and negatively charged nuclei spin around their own axes, Allah Almighty makes them recite one of His Beautiful Names from His own essence.
What is the reason? Why does He make them recite it? A factory, so that the product it makes is not imitated, takes out a patent. Its patent. This patent belongs to that factory. For example, it says (?). It belongs to (?). And no one can use (?). In this case Allah Almighty too has stamped His patent on all of them, from the atom to the globe. The particles of all matter recite His essence; that there is no god but Allah, they symbolize tawhid. Tawhid. Yes. In this case, while you are equipped with this knowledge, you turn your back on this knowledge out of obstinacy, with selfish feelings, with prejudice, to Allah's non-existence, to there being no resurrection in the hereafter, if your heart (?) and you affirm it with your tongue, if you put it forward, then you fall into the state of lying disbelievers.
And this is not my word, it is Allah's word. Why does He call them lying disbelievers? In the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm. When He said, I am your Lord. They, since they saw Allah Almighty like (?), waited for the Lord in their own lives. In this case they could not believe in Allah. And when Allah Almighty made the covenant with them, since they denied Allah, and since no other creator appeared, Allah Almighty called them lying disbelievers. Lying disbelievers. And they will not be able to see their Lord, it says. And those wrongdoers who say "I am a scholar" say, "In Paradise," they say, "(?) Allah, seeing Him like this," they say.
The other one says: "They, blind and sightless," it says, "will be gathered," it says. Blind and sightless. They will be gathered – whereas look what Allah Almighty says now.
Pardon? Here, from here, this thing is better. Look what Allah Almighty says now. Surah Saba, verse 12, I think.
Pardon?
Surah As-Sajda, Surah As-Sajda, 12th verse. The guilty, it says, bowing their heads before their Lord: Our Lord, we have seen the truth. Where? In the hereafter realm. At the Supreme Court. When they come into the presence of Allah Almighty. What are they saying? Bowing their heads before their Lord: Our Lord, we have seen the truth and heard. Now return us to the world so that we may do righteous deeds. We now firmly believe – if only you could see them when they say this, it says. If only you could see. Well, sir, is Allah unjust then? He doesn't send them back to the world, but sends them to Hell.
Wasn't Allah Almighty supposed to be merciful?
At first, (?), Allah Almighty created our souls; when Allah Almighty said, I am your Lord, there the souls were divided into three parts. (?)
O people of the right, glad tidings to you. Ve ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'emeh. O people of the left, woe to you, it says. Ve's-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn. Ülâike'l-mukarrabûn. Fî cennâti'n-naîm. A third group, the group of the foremost, it says. The group of saints, prophets, martyrs, witnesses. Now, there, the covenant you made with Allah Almighty, (?) wish – according to that destiny in which your wish became destiny, the deeds of your characters – not once, it says, even if He sends you back several more times, you would do the same deeds again, it says. Why? The characters are the same. Again that realm will be made forgotten to us.
Again, with ourselves, with our own characters, Allah Almighty will create causes. By the (?) we carry out within those causes, by earning rewards and sins, we will prove what kind of person we are. Allah Almighty says so in the noble verse anyway. Did you think you would (?) without proving what kind of people you are? it says. Then, since Allah Almighty knew what we are, why did He send us to the world? Allah Almighty is free from all deficient attributes. Free. Because Allah Almighty loves man very much, He gave man a part of His essence. What is it? The soul. But those ignorant people, those wretched people who do not know themselves, who pass themselves off as scholars, put the soul into cats and dogs too.
In the worlds, the soul exists only in man. So Allah Almighty says in His noble verse about people: We have made you honored above the worlds, it says. What was it? We have made you honored above the worlds. Why does He say this? He says it because of His soul which He gave to man. In this case He has taken man as the addressee of His essence. Süleyman Çelebi too, about the Prophet (peace be upon him), says: I took My essence as a mirror to your essence. Mirat means mirror. I created in order to see My essence in My essence, Allah Almighty says. Why? Because He gave a part of His essence – of His soul.
So He took man as the addressee of His essence and, with the worlds, within the worlds, with His word, (?) spoke with man. Yes. In this case, Me, He says, you saw here like this; you likened Me to yourself. But I, He says, will send you to such a world – to a world where My essence is not seen I will send you. But there you will again prove what kind of person you are. That is why He sent these worlds. He sent us to these worlds. Look, again in which verse of Surah Al-Qasas – let me tell you now, let me tell you that too.
Yes.
Surah Al-Qasas: because of what they themselves did, it says, they themselves. Because of what they themselves did. Surah Al-Qasas, verse 47. When a calamity befalls them: Our Lord, what would it have been if You had sent us a prophet, so that we would follow Your verses and be among the believers – if they were not going to say this, We would not have sent you, it says. That is, We would not have sent you as a prophet. You couldn't understand this. I will open it up for you. And in Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134: If We had, before this, before the Quran, destroyed them with a punishment – destroyed them – they would surely have said: Our Lord, if only You had sent us a messenger, before falling into this baseness and (?), we would have followed Your verses. What does this mean?
Before the Quran, before the Remembrance, if We had destroyed you – that is, in the world. Are the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel in the Quran? In the Quran. Before the Remembrance, that is, before We sent you to the world, first, in the hereafter realm, although We knew what you were, if We had destroyed you, you would have said exactly this: If You had sent us a prophet, we would have followed Your words. We would have obeyed You. Where will the prophet come? The unseen world, to you. He will come in the world. If You had sent us to an unseen world, if You had sent us to a world where Your essence is not seen, look how we would have worshipped You there.
So that you would not say this, We created these worlds, it says. Yes. Now we return to the noble verse.
This much explanation is enough.
And they said: Really, we – when we have become a heap of bones and rot... rotten earth, in a brand-new creation will we be resurrected? it says. People who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter, that there will be no resurrection after death either, with judgments they make according to their own heads, deny the hereafter. The hereafter. Yet they never think whether this universe and the beings created within this universe came about by themselves, just like that. Did this order in this world come into being by itself? There is life and soul in this universe – did these lifeless beings provide this order?
Indeed. But if you ask them: A million years ago this being was in this state, and then it changed shape and became like this.
Now I ask them.
Since the world was founded, many beings, without changing shape at all, have come down to our time. Without changing shape at all. And humans too have come since our father Adam without changing shape. In this case, science, shrinking millions of cells, comes to know the DNA chain. The main root of this chain no one has the power to change. They cannot change it. They can only take the genes in that chain and from those genes produce (?). So did these genes, called the DNA chain, come into being by themselves? If no one can change these, with which science (?) can you say this animal was like this a million years ago, then changed itself and became like this – how can you say that?
Speaking this way, just as it reveals the person's own ignorance, it also shows that Allah Almighty is the Owner of the worlds – how beautifully it proves this. In denial according to his own mind. In my view it proves it. Why? In your view, Hodja, it proves it. Allah created these worlds with such an order that for this world He created 17 thousand beings. One narration says 18 thousand beings. With these beings He filters the world. A filter. The world cleans itself. Otherwise the world would reek of filth. Would reek of filth. By which (?) did you now change that being and put it into this shape, and in putting it into this shape which duty did you make that being carry out?
Yes.
In this way their ignorance comes to light. We continue our lesson.
Did this world and this order come into being by themselves? There is life and soul in this universe – did these lifeless beings provide this order? Or did these many creatures created within this universe, equipped with knowledge, bring themselves into being? Then, if Allah, who brought these worlds into being from nothing, created and brought forth what He willed, destroying it and bringing it forth again is easier than His first creation.
Against Allah, who created people from a lowly water, they turn into open rebels before people, and saying, "After we die, will we be raised again with a new resurrection?" they reveal that they do not believe in Allah. Yet Allah Almighty declares: is it harder to create you first, or, after (?), to destroy and create again? Of course, the first creation is harder. Because bringing a substance into being when there is nothing is hard. After that substance has come into being, causing it to die and creating it again is not hard for Allah, He declares.
Think of a grain of wheat. Is it harder to create it first, or to sow this grain of wheat in the field and get seeds from it? Of course, creating it first is harder. So Allah created man. In the human body He placed a cell that will never die, never rot and never burn. Through this cell, on the Day of Judgment, man will be raised again with a new resurrection. Our bodies will come out of the earth, from the (?) of crops, just as crops come out of the earth. Since the soul and the body are programmed as receiver and transmitter on the same frequencies, they will immediately find each other at the gathering.
With the verse where Allah says, "When you come into My presence with a driver," our bodies will bear witness to our souls. With the verse where He says, "Then We will raise you twice and cause you to die twice," our bodies will die a second time, and as they die, "You are being returned to the One who created you first," it will say. Our bodies will die forever, never to be raised again, and will become earth. Those heedless of Allah's existence, although they see everywhere Allah's majesty and power, out of their hatred and arrogance do not want to accept the existence of Allah Almighty. By thus also defending that there is no resurrection after death, they increase their disbelief.
Punishment and Hell are for these.
Yes.
