Translation

Your Lord is the One Who knows best everything in the heavens and the earth. Verily, some Prophets are superior to other Prophets. And We have given the Psalms (Zabur) to David.

Tafsir

Allah has created whatever is in the heavens and the earth according to His will. Surely Allah does not leave His creatures unaware of Himself. He has programmed them for His Essence and knows their desires and wishes, their movements and their future in every particle of the universe, wherever it is. In this respect, Allah is the Creator. He knows His creations in the best way. Allah, the Creator and Maker of all things, is the All-Knowing, the One Who programs His creatures to do what He wills them to do, and the One Who programs the desires of men and jinn to do what He wills them to do, according to His will.

In the meantime, the Prophets, among the Prophets, have closeness and superiority to Allah (swt). Allah has graded them in His Essence. There is no human being among the created beings who is superior to the Prophets. The Prophets are also superior to each other in the sight of Allah. The highest of them is Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who is the witness of all Prophets and from whose spirit all Prophets were created. This is because Allah created the universe from his light and the Prophets from his spirit, and the spirits of their people from the spirits of the Prophets. In this respect, he was (vema erselnake illa rahmatan lil alemin). For this, Allah has given him a separate station. This station is the station of Mahmud. He raised him to this position.

By giving the Psalms to Hazrat Dawud, Allah (swt) emphasizes that he also attained a high status in the sight of Allah. He praises many Prophets individually and tells people about their positions from time to time. For example, in the case of Jesus, Allah says that He will bring him closer to Himself. In this respect, the status and rank of each Prophet is in the sight of Allah. The fact that they are superior to each other indicates that Allah (swt) does not control the will of any creature and that each creature has a different character that is incompatible with its own will.

What is said in the video

We read verse 55 of Surah Al-Isra again and will try to explain it to you.

Your Lord knows best all who are in the heavens and on earth. Indeed, some of the prophets too are superior to others. And to David We gave the Psalms. Allah Almighty created all that is in the heavens and on earth in accordance with His will. Surely Allah did not create His creatures detached from Himself, in a state of unawareness.

Indeed, had He created them unaware, Allah forbid, both Allah's, Allah's attribute would not remain, and the creatures He created would suffer great cruelty. Programming them to His essence, wherever in the universe, in any particle of it, He knows their wishes and desires, their movements and their future. Therefore Allah is the Creator. He is the one who knows His creatures in the best way.

The meaning of "in the best way" here: until the Last Day there is not a single living being coming of which We do not know what it will not do; according to that verse, He programmed humans and jinn by their own wishes and desires, and what He calls "in the best way" of them: the future human or the accursed one or the jinn's (?). Although humans and jinn are unaware of themselves a moment later in the future, Allah Almighty knows what those to come until the Last Day will do. This is what He means here by "best". Because when Allah Almighty made the covenant with people, when in the address Elestü bi Rabbiküm He made the covenant, He gave people their wishes, desires and aims as destiny. So He placed these in character according to their destinies.

According to those characters He programmed them. Of course Allah Almighty will know us better than we know ourselves. Yes. He who programs the deeds His creatures will do in accordance with His will, and for humans and jinn programs their wishes by their own desire and wish: Allah, since He is the creator and maker of every thing, knows everything best. Meanwhile, among the prophets too there is nearness to Allah Almighty and superiority. Allah did not rank them from His essence. He did not rank them according to His essence's own wish and desire. Rather, Allah ranked them, in His essence, according to wishes and desires, according to the prophets' wishes and desires.

And it is still Allah Almighty who ranks them. Yes, among created beings, people created superior to the prophets do not exist. That is, no human was created above a prophet. Why not? Because the prophets are like the elder and father of that people. So in this case, because from that prophet's spirit they were created, because the prophets were the first Allah Almighty created, and because, having created the prophets, when He said: I will send you as prophets to your peoples, do you accept? and they said: yes, we accept, and He said: and I am a witness with you; then of course He did not create a person superior to them, superior to the prophets, that is, above the prophets.

The prophets too are, among themselves, superior to one another with Allah (?). The highest of them, the one who will bear witness to all the prophets and from whose spirit all the prophets were created, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is superior to all of them in rank, in nearness to Allah. For the worlds were created from his light, the prophets from his spirit. Indirectly, since all people were created from the Prophet's spirit, he became mâ ersel nâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn. Moreover, the eighth paradise, Maqam Mahmud, was given to him. Yes. Because Allah, from his light, the universe; well, from his light the universe, from his spirit the prophets, and from the prophets' spirits the spirits of their own peoples He created. For this reason Allah gave him a special station.

This station is Maqam Mahmud. The Prophet rose to this station.

By giving the Psalms to David (peace be upon him), Allah Almighty emphasizes that he too, in Allah's sight, attained a high station. Four prophets, prophets with a book: Moses, David, Jesus and the Prophet; to these a book was given. These are the prophets of the book.

(?) praises the prophets one by one and from time to time tells people of their stations. For example, about Jesus (peace be upon him) too: Allah will draw him near to Himself, He says. Therefore each prophet's station and degrees are in Allah's sight. Now, if we explain this verse a little: Allah will draw Jesus too near to Himself. The verse.

That is, at present, when He says every soul shall taste death and your return is to Me, since Jesus has not yet tasted death, what a beautiful ruling comes in this verse too. He too, at the very end, will taste death, and according to the verse where He says your return is to Me, him too He will draw near to His essence. Yes, therefore each prophet's station and degrees are in Allah's sight. That they are superior to one another declares that over the will of any created being Allah Almighty does not rule, and that every created one, of the prophets or of people, every created being, by its own will, is a person of characters so varied as not to match one another.
