Tafsir
In this verse, Allah (swt) is talking about the people of the countries who are oppressors. And those who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, who seek mischief in the earth and oppress people, He will either destroy them or punish them severely before the Day of Judgment.
The events that will take place until the Day of Resurrection are written in the Qur'an. Since the word of Allah is based on letters, these secrets are hidden in the verses of the Holy Qur'an.
Allah is not cruel. He does not persecute or torment anyone unjustly. Allah is very patient. Allah knows very well those who will be subjected to oppression. For those who disbelieved in Allah (kalu bela) will continue to disbelieve in the realm of property. Allah will surely punish those who oppress people in the most severe way before the Day of Resurrection.
Until the time of the Prophet (PBUH), Allah (swt) destroyed some oppressive tribes and those who went beyond the limits. He erased their names and eradicated their roots. Since the Prophet (PBUH) came as a mercy to the worlds and was alive, Allah (swt) removed the destruction for the sake of the Prophet (PBUH). In addition to this, two or three times a year He inflicts severe calamities and punishments on non-Muslims who go too far in oppressing them, so that they see the Truth. Because Allah is the owner of justice. He does not let any sinner get away with anything. Therefore, Allah will punish such people both in this world and in the Hereafter.
All these events that will happen are written in the Book of Allah. This Book is also preserved on the Levh-i Mahfuz.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Isra, verse 58. Every land there is, before the Day of Resurrection, We will either destroy or punish in the severest way. This is written in the Book, in the Preserved Tablet, it says. How clear and plain the verses are. What does it say? Look: every land there is, before the Day of Resurrection, We will either destroy, either destroy or punish in the severest way. This is written in the Book, in the Preserved Tablet, it says. Allah, Allah. Can you understand this part? "Every land there is," it says. That is, all of them on earth, all countries. Muslim and non-Muslim. All of them, before the Day of Resurrection, We will either destroy or in the severest way punish, it says.
This is written in the Book, in the Preserved Tablet, it says. Now, the verse, and you cannot find the slightest flaw, and Allah is telling the truth here.
Islam, in 200 years, in two hundred years, goes through five states. Five states. Each corresponds to forty years. Now: falsehood entering Islam.
The cleansing of falsehood. The rise of Islam. Islam remaining at its peak. The decline of Islam. Falsehood entering again. Now, knowing this, those who overstepped the limits of Allah Almighty — were they destroyed?
The people of Lot, the people of Noah, the people of Salih, the people of Ad, these, Pharaoh's people with his soldiers together — were these destroyed? They were. After this there are severe punishments, after the Prophet. Tsunami waves, earthquakes, tornadoes, calamities, until the Last Day. To the Muslim — does it not (?) the Muslim too? If you overstep the limit, if you approach the limits, doesn't a warning come to you too? With droughts, floods, flood disasters, well, with slaps, little by little. Aren't these punishments? For example, last year there were no hazelnuts there either. No apricots. Drought and frost finished them off.
Now, isn't this a slap? Those who make their living from these, this year have fallen into need.
Isn't this a punishment? So, for one who understands, a mosquito is music enough; for one who doesn't, even drum and pipe are not enough. Now I'm reading the verse once more. Every land there is, before the Day of Resurrection, We will either destroy or punish in the severest way, it says. This is written in the Book, in the Preserved Tablet, it says. So here Allah Almighty says that there is no god but Me, that this universe I programmed, and what this universe will go through until the end I know, and this too I say. Its confirmation is clear: in the Book I had written in the Preserved Tablet.
Its proof is here too. And then later, the Book, on the Night of Qadr, on the 27th of Ramadan — on the Night of Qadr, which mostly falls on the 27th night — at the Sidrat al-Muntaha, it is called Qadr — He sends down, and the Holy Quran as a mercy to the worlds He sends. Here, He says, the verses in the Book I wrote, and these verses, as long as the world stands, before your eyes come to pass, He says. That is how it turns, yes. With this verse Allah Almighty speaks of the people of oppressive lands. The peoples of such lands, who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter, who pursue sedition on earth and oppress people — before the Resurrection He either destroys them or they are struck with severe penalties. The events that will happen until the Last Day are written in the Clear Quran.
Since Allah's word is built on letters, in the Holy Quran, within the verses, these secrets are hidden. Allah Almighty is not unjust. He wrongs or punishes no one unjustly. Allah is very patient. Allah knows very well those who will be subjected to oppression. Because those who denied Allah at Qalu Bala continue denying in the visible world too. Those who oppress people, Allah Almighty will surely, before the Resurrection breaks, punish in the severest way. Both in this world and in the hereafter. If He only punished in this world and they served their sentence, that would be one thing. Yes. Well, when you ask, isn't this a double punishment — Allah Almighty gives you food, gives you drink, gives you every kind of provision.
Well, is no thanks due for this provision? If you don't give thanks for this provision —
let's say you didn't work in a factory, or didn't work at a workplace, or weren't a seller yourself, producing and selling something, where would you earn money to eat? Allah gives to you continually. He gives. He feeds you, He gives you drink. In return you don't give thanks, you turn your back. Yes, Allah will ask you about this in the world. And also for your denying Allah. That is, as a being He created, whom He holds as addressed by His Self — for your lying against His having created you so, for denying that He created you, He will call you to account. Yes. Until the Prophet (peace be upon him), some oppressive peoples, those who transgressed, Allah Almighty destroyed within the earth.
He erased their names and wiped out their roots. Since the Prophet (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to the worlds and is alive, Allah Almighty, for the sake of the Prophet (peace be upon him), has lifted the destructions. Besides this, in a way that becomes a means for them to see the truth, two or three times a year, to the non-Muslims who go far in oppression, He gives severe calamities and punishments. Because Allah is just. He lets no sinner keep what he did as a profit. Therefore Allah gives such people their penalties both in this world, and in the hereafter subjects them to severe punishments.
All these events to come are also written in Allah's Book. And this Book is preserved in the Preserved Tablet. What is it? It is the Holy Quran. And the Holy Quran lies ready before us too. Yes.
