Tafsir
Allah (swt) is the absolute ruler of the universe. By appealing to people's minds, it encourages people to think.
Allah (swt) informs people that Satan will deceive people and will be an enemy to mankind. He also declares that He is the Creator and that provision and promise are reserved for Allah. The fact that He created the seas for human beings, enabling them to go to the ends of the earth by means of ships floating in the seas, where they cannot reach by land vehicles, to trade and exchange, reminds people that Allah (swt) encompasses the universe with His Knowledge.
It is also the fact that people begged Allah during the dangerous moments they spent at sea, and Allah (swt) answered the prayers of these sinful servants and forgave them. He says that your Lord is very merciful to you and gives good news that He forgives people's sins. As long as a person turns to Allah, knows how to ask for forgiveness and promises never to do evil again. Allah forgives the sins of such servants and converts these sins into rewards.
What is said in the video
We will talk a little about verse 66 of Surah Al-Isra. My servants, your Lord, so that you may attain His grace, is the one who makes the ships sail on the sea for you. Truly, He is very merciful towards you, it says. Yes, your Lord, so that you may attain His grace, so that you may attain our Lord's grace, is the one who makes the ships sail on the sea for you, it says. Now, as we always say, things whose specific gravity is lighter than water float on the water, and things whose specific gravity is heavier than water sink. Now, ships are made of iron. Their specific gravity is heavier than water, but they do not sink.
As Archimedes discovered, while bathing in the bathhouse, the bath bowl not sinking in the water, so that he shouted Eureka, Eureka, that is, I found it, I found it, shouting that, he sees that, as far as the matter sinks into the water, by the water's buoyant force that matter, that is, the matter whose specific gravity is heavier than water, stays on top of the water. So with ships, by the grace of Allah Almighty, although the water's specific gravity is lighter, although it is lighter than iron, as far as it sinks, as far as it sinks into the water, the water's buoyant force, its volume, with a buoyant force as great as its breadth, the ships float on the water. This is how our Lord created water so that people may also benefit from the sea.
Also, when it says He makes the ships sail on the sea for you, it means bringing out all kinds of provision from the sea, pearls, corals, fish, whatever you want. His providing for people from the blessings of the sea. Yes.
Allah Almighty is the absolute ruler of the universe. By addressing people's reason, He leads them to reflect. Allah Almighty makes known to people that Satan will deceive people and be an enemy to mankind, He informs people. Yes. That He created the seas for people, that to places they cannot reach by land vehicles, going by ships that sail the seas to the far ends of the world, He lets them buy, sell and trade, reminds people that Allah Almighty has encompassed the universe with His knowledge.
Now, moreover, Allah Almighty makes the seas as much as two thirds of the land, the land as much as one third of the seas. Why? Although people live on land, He makes the land small, in the proportion of one third of the seas, and surrounds two thirds of the world with water. Land heats up quickly and cools down quickly. The seas heat up slowly and cool down slowly. In that case, if the seas were less than the land, a (?) would have arisen. Hot and dry by day, freezing cold by night. That the seas exceed the land twofold, keeping the environment at a standard by acting as a thermostat, for example, with a difference of a few degrees between night and day, for human life it creates a suitable environment where night and day differ only a little.
Our Lord has arranged everything in the best way with His knowledge.
That He created the seas for people, that to places they cannot reach by land vehicles, going by ships that sail the seas to the far ends of the world, He lets them buy, sell and trade: that Allah Almighty with His knowledge has encompassed the universe, this is what it reminds people of. Also, that people, in their dangerous moments at sea, implore Allah, and that Allah Almighty, answering these sinful servants, the servants' prayers, makes known that He forgives them. His saying 'your Lord is very merciful to you' is the good news that He forgives people's sins. As long as a person turns to Allah, knows to seek His forgiveness, and promises never again to do evil.
Just as Allah forgives the sins of such servants, He also turns their sins into good deeds. The Prophet (peace be upon him), in a hadith, says the following. Even if your sins reached up to the clouds in the sky, when you repent with a (?) heart, Allah turns your sins into good deeds, he says.
