Translation

Or do you feel secure that Allah will not send you there (to the sea) again, send a violent storm over you and drown you because of your denial? Then, you will not be able to find a supporter against Us.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) is all-powerful. He creates the events in people's destiny by connecting everything to causes, and He makes the events that will happen to them come to pass. If it is certain that a person is going to drown in the sea, even if a person swears not to go to the sea, not to get on the ship, some events will surely occur and a person will go to the sea and see what will happen to him there.

Since human beings do not know the unseen, Allah, the Almighty, proves His existence to human beings and informs them that He knows everything, and that human beings do not know the next moment, that they are only aware of their lives during their lifetime and are unaware of what happens after that, and that they even forget the events that happened to them during their lifetime, but Allah does not forget anything, and that He will take all His creatures to account on the Day of Reckoning and will inform them of what they have done.

Allah says to mankind, "Are you sure that I will not send you back to the sea and send a hurricane on you and drown you because of your disbelief? If people could realize that they are ignorant of the events that will happen to them and that people who boast in times of prosperity are actually living their lives with Allah's mercy and the blessings that Allah has given them, they would not hold back in their worship of Allah and they would not associate partners with Allah. However, when people reach the end of their lives, when they disbelieve in Allah, when they return to the sea, when Allah (swt) sends hurricanes to the people and they are drowned in the sea, these people will not find a helper who will take revenge on them and save them. This is because all created souls are dependent on Allah. Furthermore, Allah (swt) is declaring the state of these people who disbelieve in Allah. That is to say, because of their hatred and enmity towards Allah, they drown themselves in the sea and taste death, and they are filled with hatred against Allah, and they are filled with the feeling that there should be someone to avenge us, and that Allah should avenge us. Allah (swt) says, "Then you will not find a supporter who will seek us out to avenge you for this." Allah (swt) is powerful. Because Allah is powerful. All the human and jinn tribes gathered together cannot harm Allah. Allah is sovereign over all His creation. There is no god but Allah.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Isra, verse 69: Or that He will not, once again, send you back there to the sea and, sending a hurricane upon you, because you disbelieved, drown you, are you sure of that, it says. And what does Allah Almighty say in a verse? In one verse He also says: when you are to die, to the place where you will fall, on your own feet you go, He says. Whatever has been decreed, where we will die, in which place, in which city, when, this is of the unseen kinds of knowledge, left to Allah's decree, among the knowledge that lies within His knowledge. In this case: that Allah Almighty, back sending us there again, that is, a duty comes up, some shopping, some trade, or to go to our loved ones, to a child of ours, we board a ship again, that He will not drown you because you disbelieved, are you sure of that?

That is, when you return there, then because of this, to take revenge for yourselves you will find no supporter who will call Us to account, it says.

How beautifully the last verse says it, very meaningful: then because of this, to take revenge for yourselves, He says, from whom? To take revenge on Allah, you will find no supporter who will call Us to account, because We are free of the universe, and the whole universe is under Our rule. Whatever place We wish, at whatever moment, in whatever way, We destroy or else We leave it be, He says. Yes. Moreover, Allah Almighty says in a verse that if mankind and jinn gathered, they could do Allah no harm. So Allah Almighty has power over everything. Linking everything to causes, He creates the events within people's destinies and brings about the events that are to befall them.

If a person is destined to drown at sea, even if he swears not to go to sea, not to board a ship, surely some events will come about and he goes to the sea and there you see what is to befall you. So, since man does not know the unseen, Allah, who has power over all things, proving His existence to people, that He knows everything, that people are aware, that people, however, do not know the next moment, but are only aware of their life within the times they live. That is, only of what I lived in the past am I aware, and that too we forget. Because Allah Almighty created people among the forgetful.

If people truly did not forget the past, from the bitter calamities that befell them life would become unbearable. Just as, over time, a material's surface, if you don't look after the material and leave it to itself, it gathers dust, and if that material's surface is covered with dust, so the surface of pains too is forgotten in man in that way, or else (?) in the past, and man goes on living, taking pleasure in life. So, since man does not know the unseen, Allah, who has power over all things, proving His existence to people, that He knows everything, that people do not know the next moment, but are only aware of their life within the times they live, are unaware of what comes after, that even the events that befell them in the times they lived in their lifetime they forget, but that Allah forgets nothing, and that all His beings, all His creatures, calling them to account on that Day of Reckoning, what they all did He will tell them, this He makes known.

With which verse does Allah Almighty prove this? With which verse? Fe men ya'mel miskâle zerretin hayran yerah. Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerretin şerran yerah. We write down the atom's weight of good you do, and the atom's weight of evil too We write down. From which other verse does He inform us? When you come into My presence with a driver, We will silence your mouths, make your hands speak, and make your feet bear witness, He says. Yes.

So Allah, addressing people: that I will not send you again to the sea and there, sending a hurricane upon you, because you disbelieved, drown you, are you sure of that, He says.

With this verse: people's helplessness and that, of the events to come, they are unaware; that people who boast when they prosper in fact sustain their lives by Allah's mercy and find life through the blessings Allah gives; if they could grasp this, people would not hold back from obedience and worship towards Allah Almighty, nor associate partners with Allah. Yes.

But when people prosper, by their denying Allah, when they go back again to the sea, by the hurricanes Allah Almighty sends to people, people's drowning at sea in return, these people, taking revenge on themselves, will not find a helper to save them either. Yes. They take revenge on themselves. Allah takes revenge on no one. Because Allah treats His servants equally, deals with them so. Every soul, because of what it did, takes revenge on its own self. Allah Almighty to man: perform the prayer, fast, give zakat. Incline to no god other than Allah. Worship a single god other than Allah. worship that Allah who is One.

Believe in all the prophets you sent. Believe in resurrection after death, in, well, the whatnot and all of the Amantu. That is, in Allah's angels, His books, His prophets, resurrection after death, good and evil; those who believe in this perform the prayer, keep the fast, give their zakat, go on their Hajj, continue their worship, and if they do good works, this person has exalted his own self in the sight of Allah. Apart from this, those who do the opposite of this, those people, since they will suffer wrong in the sight of Allah, have taken revenge on their own selves. How simple.

By praying, fasting, giving zakat, going on Hajj, do we lose anything? Benefiting from the mercy Allah has bestowed upon us, servants to our Lord and the ummah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is what we try to be. In that case, are we suffering hardship? No. We live in delight, in comfort, in peace. Yes. But people other than this, in gossip and backbiting about this and that, in worldly greed, how to secure their worldly gain, how to cheat a person and how, by which ways, they will get that day's earnings, by calculating all this, they cast themselves into troubles; moreover, not content with the provision Allah gives, they also usurp others' rights and dues, and those rights and dues, in this fleeting world of a few hours, spend on their pleasure, spending time in summer resorts, holiday homes or on yachts, and in the world of the Hereafter, their self, leaving their self subject to wrong, when the person himself comes to take revenge on his own self, he will not be able to attribute it to Allah Almighty.

He will not be able to say anything to Him. Yes. Because all created souls are in need of Allah; moreover, Allah Almighty declares their state to these people who deny Allah, namely: because of their rancour and enmity towards Allah, with their drowning in the seas and tasting death, filled with feelings of rancour against Allah Almighty, 'let there be someone who will take our revenge, and may he take our revenge on Allah', with such feelings they are filled. If you ask, is it really so, Hodja, is it my own opinion? It really is so. How do you know, Hodja? Look, here is how I know. In the world of the Hereafter, these, since they denied Allah anyway, know that there is a Lord who created them; so they are waiting for the Lord of their imagination, that is, they do not believe in Allah who created them. Why don't they? Because Allah Almighty, with a part of His spirit, created man.

Because of His spirit that He gave man with this part, with attributes of essence resembling His Essence He created him. So man, the One standing before him at that Elestü bi-Rabbiküm covenant, his Lord standing before him, he did not recognize as Lord; to the Lord he awaited in his own imagination he turned. So, from Allah Almighty, 'you your Lord', that is, 'they their Lord will not see', the verse in which He says this, He symbolizes here, and how beautifully Allah Almighty makes known that there is no god other than Allah. So when people enter Hell, too, the Lord they imagined will come, and they will take revenge on Allah.

With these feelings they say this to Malik. O Malik, tell your Lord to lighten the punishment on us a little, they say. How beautiful. The verses all (?) one another. And we write down the meaning of the verses anyway. Yes. If you like, let us read that sentence again. Namely: because of their rancour and enmity towards Allah, with their drowning in the seas and tasting death, against Allah Almighty, with feelings of rancour and 'may he take our revenge', yes, with feelings of rancour and 'may he take our revenge', they are filled.

So Allah Almighty, putting these feelings of people into words, says: then because of this, to take our revenge, to take your revenge, you will find no supporter who will call Us to account. Because Allah is mighty. If the hosts of men and jinn gathered, they could not harm Allah. Allah rules over all His creatures. There is no god but Allah. La ilahe illallah.

Muhammeden Resulullah. Hodja, although we believe in all the prophets, why do we say La İlahe İllallah, Muhammeden Resulullah, and not La İlahe İllallah, all the prophets are true? Right. If you deny any one of the prophets, you still become an unbeliever. Now, when we say La İlahe İllallah, what are we saying?

There is no god other than Allah. That is, this universe, universe, and no being exists. No being exists. There is only a God who subsists through His own Essence. Then that Lord, the Creator, created the Prophet from His light, then gave him of His spirit. Then, because from his light He created the worlds, and from his spirit the souls of the prophets, since one will be bearing witness to all the prophets, La İlahe İllallah Muhammeden Resulullah. There is no god other than Allah. If we affirm with the tongue and confirm with the heart the symbol 'Muhammad is His servant and messenger', then, since all the prophets were created from his spirit, we confirm all the prophets.

Yes. La ilahe illallah Muhammeden Resulullah. I suppose it has been understood.
