And pray (saying); “Oh My Dear Lord! Make me enter with honesty and make me exit with honesty to the places I go. Give me strength from Your side that will truthfully help.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) wants the people He created to be moral and virtuous. In this respect, the Shari'ah law is to inform people how to live their lives based on morality, respecting human rights and law, with complete justice and without the slightest injustice. Those who deviate from these laws, who do not like Allah's laws and make laws according to their own minds, change the laws like a game of whack-a-mole. They cannot find peace and tranquility.

In this respect, since Allah (swt) sent the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) to be a mercy to the worlds and to complete good morals, Allah (swt), as an exemplary example for human beings, makes us pray as follows. Lord, make me enter the place I enter with honesty; that is, pray that I enter the place where people will be pleased with me by being moral and virtuous, by being worthy of human dignity and honor and by obeying the rules that Allah has set for human beings as the most honorable of creatures, by not disrespecting anyone's rights and laws, by not coveting people's honor with lust, and by being a respectful and remembersome person.

And from wherever I leave, make sure that I leave with honesty. This means that when people migrate from one town to another, even if they will not visit the town they left and will not see its people again, it makes them pray that I leave without oppressing people, without usurping their rights and laws, and leaving behind a good memory and glory. It shows people good morals, respect for human rights and law, and honesty in their interconnectedness. The life of such people turns the earth into a feast. People will be free from enmity, sorrow, grief, hatred and cruelty. The verse goes on to say that the Prophet (PBUH) is addressed to the Prophet (PBUH), in fact to all mankind, asking, "Give me a force that will help me from your side", in order to purify the hearts of people from evil traits by making them ask for Allah's help and increasing their faith. He wants people to be cleansed of their egoic and satanic feelings, and to adopt the good morals that Allah wants to see in people.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 80 of Surah Al-Isra. If you have questions, you can ask your questions again.

And pray thus: now Allah Almighty, to the Prophet (peace be upon him), how beautifully He makes it known. In fact to his community, to the community of the Prophet. And pray thus: My Lord, let me enter the place I will enter with honesty. The Prophet used to pray like this. And let me leave the place I will leave with honesty. He used to recite this verse. Grant me, from (?), a power that truly helps. Yes. Allah Almighty wants to see the people He created moral and virtuous. In this respect, (?), observing the rights of human beings, in complete justice, without the slightest wrong, is His making known to people the laws by which they are to live.

Those who go outside these laws and, not liking Allah's laws, make laws according to their own minds change laws like a board one writes on and wipes. They never find calm and peace. Calm and peace, these cannot find.

For this reason, since Allah Almighty sent the Beloved of the All-Glorious, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a mercy to the worlds and to perfect good character, as an example and model for people: pray thus, He says. My Lord, let me enter the place I will enter with honesty. How beautiful: that is, with glory and honour, (?) by my Lord as a human being, to enter with that good character, and among people, even if they do not love you, in such a way that they would still call you the best person, there enter honestly. Yes, let me enter, my Lord, the place I will come to, let me enter with honesty.

The meaning of this: in morals and virtues, befitting human honour, dignity and self-respect, and as the most honourable of created beings, following the rules Allah has set for people, without disregarding anyone's rights, without, with lust, casting eyes on people's honour, with people pleased with me, grant me to enter the place I will enter as a respectful and considerate person — make this prayer. And let me leave the place I will leave with honesty. The meaning of this: when people migrate from one land to another, even if one will never again visit the land one left and never see its people either, without doing wrong to people, without (?) their rights, leaving behind a good (?) and renown, grant that I depart — this is the prayer He has him make.

From here, in a beautiful sense: My Allah, in the world, among those closest to Your Being and who worship most beautifully, exalting me, exalting me from Your side, so that I attain Your mercy, let me live, and when leaving the world, coming to You, in the most beautiful way, in a way befitting the highest station, honourably, having carried out all Your commands, grant that You take me to Yourself, that You bring me near to You — pray thus. In a second sense, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and for us too, understanding it this way — deeds anyway depend on intention — this prayer this way too, to our Lord: to live Islam in the world in the most beautiful way and to go to the hereafter living Islam in the most beautiful way, grant us this — saying so, if we live and pray this way, deeds depend on intention, we will surely attain our Lord's mercy.

Yes. And let me leave the place I will leave with honesty. The meaning of this: when people migrate from one land to another, even if one will never again visit the land one left and never see its people again. Without doing wrong to people, without (?) their rights, leaving behind a good (?) and renown, grant that I depart — this is the prayer made. It shows people good character, and, by observing human rights, people being bound to one another with honesty.

In this way, people's life turns the earth into a festive atmosphere. People are cleansed of enmity, of grief and sorrow, of hatred and oppression. Continuing the verse, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), but in fact addressing all people, having them pray: from (?) a power that truly helps grant me — this is so that people ask Allah for help and, by increasing their faith, He cleanses them of the bad traits in their hearts. He wills that people, cleansed of the feelings of the nafs and of Satan, adopt the good character Allah wants to see in people. Yes.
