Those who desire guidance from Allah, they are the ones who found the right path; and those who steer away from guidance (and continue on that path) cannot find Allah’s friendship. We will resurrect them, faces dragged on the ground, blind, deaf and mute, on the Day of Judgment! Their dwelling is the hell and when its fire slows down, We will increase the blaze.
Tafsir
Those who, when they made a covenant with Allah (swt) at the beginning (kalu bela), they knew Allah (swt) as the Creator, they believed that He is the Creator of themselves and the worlds, and they said, "Yes, you are our Lord", they are the ones who made a good covenant with Allah (swt) and they are the ones who are on the path of the straight and narrow path.
All human beings, when they are in the state of spirits, when they are addressed by Allah (swt), that is, when Allah (swt) says I am your Lord, when Allah (swt) addresses human beings with His guidance and mercy, whoever seeks Allah's guidance, whoever recognizes Allah as the Creator and accepts Him as Lord, these are the people who are on the right path. And whoever betrays Allah and does not accept Him as Lord when He is addressed by His Lord, when He says, "I am your Lord," are those who have strayed away from Allah's guidance over mankind. If they continue in that state, they will never find Allah's friendship again.
The meaning of friendship here is that those who disbelieve in Allah cannot come to faith and accept Allah as the Creator and will be alone in the Hereafter, deprived of Allah's mercy. In this case, they are those who have turned away from mercy.
Allah (swt) will make such people stand face down in the Hereafter, blind, dumb and deaf. Such people are blind. Blindness here is used figuratively. That is to say, these people did not believe in the books and Prophets sent by Allah (swt) in the world, nor did they believe in the miracles they saw. Following their nafs and Satan, they would turn their backs on the Verses, even though they could see the Verses that Allah (swt) had sent in a way that every mind could understand. These are the blind.
They are dumb; these people do not want to speak the true Word of Allah (swt), they are the ones who speak what Allah forbids and what their desires like. They are dumb because they are depressed against the Word of Truth and do not want to speak.
The deaf are those people who, although they hear the true Word of Allah (swt) in the worldly realm, they either turn their backs to avoid hearing the Word of Allah (swt) or they block their ears against the true Word of Allah (swt) in order not to hear the true Word of Allah (swt). And these are the deaf.
Such people will be blind, deaf and dumb in the Hereafter, even though they will see the torment, because they will have the same feelings there. They will be buried face down; the meaning here is that Allah is certainly able to create as He pleases. He can create such people with their faces on their faces, but in the real sense, He declares that in the face of their rebellion against Allah, when they see the truth, even if they do not believe that Allah is Allah, they will not be able to disobey Allah's command, and none of them will be able to act excessively, and they will come to His presence as submissive to Allah's command.
The destination of such people is Hell. Allah has shown people two ways. There is no third way.
The first path is to know Allah as Allah, to continue in obedience and servitude to Him, to recognize Him as the Creator of the worlds and the absolute power and sovereignty. This is the way to Allah's paradise.
The second way is: Whoever does not recognize Allah as the Creator and associates partners with Him and does not believe in His Prophets and His Books, they are on the path that leads to Hell. This is a road to hell.
Those who choose this second path will end up in Hell. It is a very bad place of return. It is a place of torment and suffering. There is also burning in the fire of Hell. This is a fire that never diminishes or loses its intensity.
Just as the sun is constantly exploding and sending its atoms to the earth. When these atoms hit any object, they explode and heat the earth. Just as the sun maintains its mass by reproducing new parts in place of the missing parts, even though its mass is diminishing. Just as a human being is amputated and the human body repairs the amputated part and restores it to its original condition, the fire of hell will be renewed in fire and intensity as it diminishes, and it will not lose its intensity by maintaining the mass of fire.
What is said in the video
Al-Isra Surah, we have come to its verse 97. Here there is a verse that has been wrongly interpreted. Let's see, in Surah Al-Isra, verse 97, what does it say? Yes, let's take a look from here.
Let's read from our thing, from what we have written.
Well, page 293. 293, page 97, verse. It is written like this: Whomever Allah guides, he is the one who finds the right path. How nice. Right. Look at the text. Right at the very beginning, how does it characterize Allah Almighty? How is He making distinctions between His servants?
They ask the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Whom do they call unjust?" it says. Unjust. A father who makes distinctions between his children is also unjust, he says. In that case, if Allah, although He is the Creator, between His servants makes distinctions, is He unjust or not? Allah, Allah Almighty: with this verse, how nicely people characterize Allah! Allah is showing favoritism against His other servants. And these ones, (?) hell. That's what they say anyway. That's what they say. Now let me read that part to you as well. Yes. Well.
Surah Al-A'raf, verse 179.
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve lekad zere'nâ li cehenneme kesîran mine'l-cinni ve'l-ins. Up to here, sadakallahulazim, up to here, this is how they interpret it now. "Ve lekad," it says. Indeed. We have created many of the jinn and humans for hell, it says.
Huh? In the Quran, verse 179, if you want to read it, go ahead. Go ahead. Let me bring it closer. Yes.
Oh, is that so? Is it written in that one? What is written in the others? However many Qurans there are, they are all identical. So that's it. However many Qurans there are, they are all identical. You know, at one time, by explaining it to people over and over, they corrected it. "Only Allah knows what is in the wombs," it said. "Whether it is a girl or a boy," it says; that is what it writes now. Today technology knows whether it is a girl or a boy. When it says Allah knows what is in the wombs: His making a covenant with us at the address "Elestü bi Rabbiküm", writing our wishes and desires for us as destiny, and raising us to the world of barzakh, raising us to the world of barzakh.
For a spirit whose time has come: at what time, to which person a girl will be given or a boy will be given, which person with which spirit, or with their child, will better prove each other, this Allah knows. Its being taken from there, girl or boy, that is what Allah knows. Not what is in the wombs. We got them to correct this; anyway, they don't say it now. And also they used to say this: Allah invaded the Throne. Allah, Allah... there is no life on the Throne, no soul. Did Allah wage war, so that He invaded it? That is, did Allah wage war with what He created? This is not istila, it is istiva, istiva. That is, (?) outside time and space His sovereignty He established. Yes.
Allah is free from time and space. Anyway. We got this changed to istiva too. Now we are shouting about this part like this. Not this part. Not this part. In the Quran, more than five hundred (?) have been wrongly interpreted. We are trying to shout these things to people at the top of our voices so that people learn the truth. Let no one fit Allah into their mind and ascribe attributes to Him. Let them not ascribe attributes to Allah. Allah is free from all deficient attributes. He is very exalted. He does not fit into our minds. If you ascribe attributes to Allah from your partial mind, and here too say, "Whomever Allah guides, he is the one who finds the right path," if you make Allah discriminate between His servants, what kind of scholar are you? How do you see this audacity in yourself and write this text in this way, and with what capacity do you sit in a certain position?
And there you stand by as a spectator to these things.
Give your grade yourselves. Yes.
And whomever He keeps away from guidance, you will no longer find for them friends besides Allah. Allah, Allah! "And whomever He keeps away from guidance." Gentlemen, my children, did this Quran come to the worlds? It did. Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) come as a mercy to the worlds?
He came as a mercy to the worlds. Then does Allah Almighty, to the Prophet who came as a mercy to the worlds, say, "Turn your face away from them, come over to this side"? Does He say, "I sent you as a prophet only to Muslims"? No. What does He say? I sent you to the worlds. Then convey it to the worlds. Convey it. If turning back is in their fitrah, they will turn back. In their fitrah, that is, if it is in their destiny. So how does Allah make distinctions, that although He sent the Quran to the worlds, based on which verse do you say, well, "Whomever He keeps away from guidance, you will no longer find friends for them besides Allah"?
Allah, Allah! Yes.
I am reading the correct version, gentlemen.
Whoever asks Allah for guidance, whoever seeks and wants guidance, he is the one who finds the right path. And whoever moves away from guidance and continues on that path, they will no longer find Allah's friendship. While they continue on that path, pay attention: On the Day of Resurrection We will gather them blind, mute and deaf, face down. This is something said in a figurative sense. Blind to Allah's word. Because he was blind in this world too. That is, although he saw the truth, although Allah Almighty (?) struck the verses on his head, although He sent prophets and scholars and worked the truth (?) into their hearts, they ran away from them.
They blocked their ears. They drew veils over their eyes. These were blind in the world too. Therefore they were blind in the hereafter too. That is, just as he did not believe in the world, he is not a believer in the hereafter either, says Allah Almighty. Yes. How do you characterize Allah? Which mind (?)? Yes.
Their destination, where they will arrive and stay, is hell, whose fire, whenever it slows down, We increase its flame, it says. Yes. We increase its flame.
Whoever, at (?), that is, at kalû belâ, with Allah Almighty, when they made the covenant, knew Allah Almighty as Creator, believing that He is the Creator of themselves and of the worlds, and said, "Yes, You are our Lord," those are the ones who gave Allah a fine pledge and who are on the straight path.
When all people were in the state of spirits, and Allah Almighty's address came to them, that is, when Allah Almighty said, "I am your Lord, Elestü bi Rabbiküm, I am your Lord," at Allah's call to people with His guidance and mercy, whoever sought Allah's guidance, knew Allah as Creator and accepted Him as Lord, these people are the ones on the right path. And whoever, when their Lord's address came to them, when He said "I am your Lord," betraying Allah did not accept Him as Lord, those are the ones who moved away from Allah's guidance upon people. When these people continue in that state, they will never again find Allah's friendship.
The meaning of friendship here: those who deny Allah cannot come to faith and accept Allah as Creator, and in the hereafter, deprived of Allah Almighty's mercy, they remain alone. In this case, these are meant as those who move away from mercy. Yes.
Allah Almighty gathers such people in the hereafter blind, mute and deaf, face down. Such people are blind. The blindness here is used in a figurative sense. That is, just as these people in this world did not believe in the books and prophets sent by Allah Almighty, they did not believe in the miracles they saw either. Following their nafs and Satan, although they saw the verses that Allah Almighty sent in a way every mind can understand, they would turn their backs on the verses. These are the seeing blind. Yes, the seeing blind. They are deaf. Again, in this world, although they hear the true word of Allah Almighty, these people, so as not to hear Allah's word, either turn their backs and walk away, or, so as not to hear Allah's true word, they oppose the true word with their ears.
These are the deaf.
There's an extra letter here. Let me delete it.
Yes. So as not to hear, they oppose the true word with their ears. These are the deaf.
Such people, even though they see the punishment in the hereafter, since they will have the same feelings, are blind there too. They are deaf and they are mute. These are gathered face down. They are gathered face down. In the meaning here, Allah is surely able to create whatever He wills as He wills. Just as such people could be created face down, in the real sense, given how rebellious they are against Allah, when they see the truth, although they do not believe that Allah is Allah, that they cannot go against Allah's command, and that none of them can act excessively, that submitting to Allah's command they will come into His presence, this is what it declares.
This is what it means by face down.
Moreover, when it says face down: when they understand that they will enter hell, that they will be thrown in, their eyes, it says, like sky blue, pop out. They throw themselves face down on the ground. And We, it says, call the zabaniyah. We have them thrown in through the gate of hell, it says. Yes. The place where such people will arrive and stay is hell. Allah has shown people two paths; there is no third path. If there is a third path, show it to me. There are two paths.
One is the path of paradise, the other the path of hell. One is the path of those on the right, the other the path of those on the left. Ve ashâbu'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbu'l-meymeneh ve ashâbu'l- meş'emeti mâ ashâbu'l-meş'emeh. Hodja, there is the third sentence; they are among those on the right, within paradise, people who attain the high degrees of paradise, people (?). Yes. Very good.
The first path is to know Allah as Allah and to continue in obedience and servitude to Him. It is to recognize Allah as the Creator of the worlds and the absolute Power and Ruler. This path is a path that leads to Allah's paradise. As for the second path: whoever does not recognize Allah as Creator and associates partners with Allah, if they do not believe in the prophets and books He sent, these are on the paths that seek hell. This too is a path leading to hell. The place where people who choose this second path will stay and arrive is hell. That is a very evil place of return. It is a place of every kind of torment and agony.
Moreover, there is also burning in the fire of hell. This fire is such that its fire never diminishes in any way or loses its intensity. The moment it loses it, it says, We increase its intensity. That fire of hell, stones, and its fuel, it says. Its fuel is stones and people, it says. (?) Just as the sun is constantly exploding and sending its atoms to the earth. Where these atoms hit any body, they explode and heat the earth. Although its mass diminishes, new parts are produced again in place of the lost parts and the sun preserves its mass; just as when a part of a person is cut, the cut place is repaired by the human body and returns to its former state, so too the fire of hell, as it diminishes, will have its fire and intensity renewed, and, preserving its mass of fire, it will not lose its intensity.
Yes.
