Do not complain on this day! Because, you will not be helped by Us!

Tafsir

People who disbelieve in Allah and the Hereafter, when they see the truth in the Hereafter, they shout and shout in a frenzy. They see that what Allah says is the truth. Then they begin to taste the agony of the Day of Reckoning from which there is no return. When they realize that they will not be able to save themselves from Allah's justice for their filth and evil deeds, they whine in pain and anguish.

Allah (swt) says to these people, "Do not shout and complain in vain. You will not get any help from us today. Everything is reciprocal. If I work for a person, I get my wages in return. I cannot go to the door of a person I do not work for and say, why don't you give me my wages? Because I have not rendered any service to this person, so that I should demand a fee from him.

Allah does not need service. Service to Him is service to oneself. If you knew Allah as Allah and believed and trusted in Him. You would fulfill Allah's commands upon us and continue your worship. Surely on that day you would be rewarded for your service in full and complete.

It is the most painful of human miseries that people who turn their backs on Allah while in this world and live according to their nafs will be all alone in the Hereafter.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mu'min, verse 65. The verse: Do not whine in vain today, for from Us you will receive no help, it says. Now what does this mean? Do not whine in vain today.

The Hour has struck.

When the earth is another earth and the sky another, when the world is brought forth flattened, when He says (?) to Israfil, when Allah Almighty, in His verse, says that in the hereafter, just as grass grows again in the world, your bodies and our souls will unite — when you come into My presence with a driver — according to the verse in which He says this, when the great court, the Mahkeme-i Kübra, is set up, Eleysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn — Allah, the Judge of judges — when you come before Allah Almighty, He says: do not whine in vain today, for you will receive no help from Us. Because Allah, in His word, what does He say? In this world His mercy is for everyone, in the hereafter only for the believer. Since Allah Almighty is the Judge of judges, when they go to the hereafter without faith — when they go without faith, Allah Almighty will cut off His mercy from them. Those of the station of intercession, people and also the prophets, will lift their intercession from them, and there they will be left alone, without anyone.

So, do not whine here today, He says. And from Me — for you will receive no help from Me.

People who deny Allah and the hereafter, upon passing to the hereafter, when they see the truth, in an outburst keep shouting at one another.

What is their outburst? They will say: Alas! Alas! What the prophets said was true. That day has come, they will say. Yes. They see that what Allah said is the truth. They begin to taste the anguish of that day of reckoning from which there is no return. So, when they realize that in return for the filth and evil deeds they did, they cannot save themselves from the grip of Allah's justice, in this pain and anguish they keep whining. Addressing these people, Allah Almighty says: Do not shout and whine in vain, for today you will receive no help from Us. Everything is mutual.

If I work for a person, I receive my wage in return. I can't go to the door of someone I didn't work for and say: why don't you pay my wage? Because I did no service for this person for which I could ask a wage from him. So Allah has no need of service. Service to Him is man's service to himself. Had you known Allah as Allah, believed and trusted in Him, you would have carried out Allah's commands upon us and kept up your worship. Surely on that day you too would have seen the reward of the service you did, surely, fully and completely. Yes.

Allah Almighty does not expect service from us. So what does He expect? He made known to us the purpose for which He created us, and expects that from us. What is the purpose of creation He expects from us? That we say "Allah", and that we know there is no god other than Allah, and out of Allah's grace and generosity to us, so that He may guide us, in all the prophets He sent He wanted us to believe. Out of His mercy, for us, to grant us life, in those He sent too He wanted us to believe, for they invited us to the truth. Who are they? The prophets. Scholars, the ulema, all invite to Allah. In a verse too: no prophet calls people to himself, invites them to himself, it says. Yes.

Since scholars are the heirs of the prophets, no scholar invites people to himself. He invites to Allah. We are all human. The Owner of us all is Allah. And the One who will call us to account is Allah. Yes.

Surely on that day you too would have seen the reward of your service, surely, fully and completely. So for people who turned their backs on Allah in the world and lived by their nafs, being left all alone in the hereafter is, for a person, the most bitter of torments. The most bitter. Why? Now consider it like this. Say I set off to some place, well, let's say in some (?) of the world, I have neither money nor a penny. Nor do I understand people's language. What do I do there? I'm all alone. And imagine, imagine that all the people there move away from you — you know, how Allah cuts His mercy from that person — well, what do you do there, in this situation, in a situation where no one looks you in the face, a situation where they exclude you?

Imagine that at that moment, from the people of that place, someone who understands your language, someone to help you turns up — how would you cling to him?

At a moment you never expected, you found life. It's exactly the same between this world and the hereafter. If you turn your back on Allah in the world, in the hereafter you'll be left as alone as when those people turned their backs on you and you were left alone.

And if in the world you carry out Allah's commands, by the Owner of the worlds you will be protected under His mercy. Yes. There you find life.

Yes.
