Explanation
Translation
By showing arrogance against it (the verses) you would rave gathering at nights.
Tafsir
When you gathered together at night, you used to boast of your denial of My Verses, and you used to draw strength from each other, as if you had done a heroic deed, in delirium, talking feverishly, plotting and plotting, as if you were competing with each other in denial. Did you think that you could extinguish the light of Allah? Forgetting your creation, you were openly rebellious. Now where are those from whom you drew strength? This is a Day when you have neither a helper nor an intercessor. Surely Allah does not wrong you. You have wronged your own souls. Today your abode will be Hell for what you have earned. What a bad place to settle.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 67 of Surah Al-Mu'minun.
Boasting about it, gathered together by night, you were raving.
"With it", it says: boasting about it, by night, gathered together, you were raving. By insulting Islam,
by their un-Islamic way of life, by standing up against Allah's commands,
when they insulted Islam, when night came and they gathered, they boasted to one another of what they had done. With words like "I told this one this, I did that to that one, I humiliated him like this", among themselves, before people, they were boasting. Let us read the verse once more. Boasting about it, gathered together by night, you were raving. When you gathered by night, your denying His verses too (?). Drawing strength from one another, as if you had done something heroic, in your ravings, talking heatedly, as if competing with one another in denial, you kept making plans. Did you think you would put out Allah's light?
Forgetting your creation, you turned into open rebels. And now, where are those you drew strength from? Today is a day on which you have neither a helper nor an intercessor. Surely Allah does not wrong you. You wronged your own selves. Today your place, as the recompense for what you earned, is Hell. What an evil dwelling it is. May Allah protect us from such a state.
