Translation

Verily, We placed the sons of Israel to a beautiful land and We gave them provisions from clean things. Until knowledge came to them, they did not fall into dispute. Verily, your Lord will judge on the Day of Judgment on the things that they were in dispute about.

Tafsir

When the Children of Israel obeyed Allah and His Prophets and followed the religion of Islam, Allah settled them in the land of Jerusalem after the land of Tih. After that, they spread to the regions of Damascus, Egypt and Jordan. There they benefited from the sustenance that Allah had made lawful and the fertile lands. Then in the course of time, when our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came to the world as a Prophet, and Allah sent the Qur'an, which is a river of knowledge, as a mercy to the worlds, the Children of Israel became uneasy and separated.

When these people began to have knowledge, there was a division among them. Some people, realizing that the Prophet (s.a.w.) was the Prophet of Hatemen through his miracles, accepted Islam and became Muslims. Abdullah ibn Salâm and his followers converted to Islam.

Some of them envied and hated the Prophet (SAW) because he was not from their tribe. Therefore they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger. But Allah will judge about what they differed about because of their disbelief.

What is said in the video

Our daughter Mehmet Selen says: Surah Yunus, verse 93. Yes. 'Verily We settled the Children of Israel in a fine homeland.'

Allah Almighty's saying 'Verily We settled the Children of Israel in a fine homeland' is, sir, after the Wilderness of Tih, His settling them in the city of Jerusalem. Settling them in present-day Jerusalem. Yes. And because those people lived the religion of Islam, Allah Almighty gave them, from pure blessings, and the blessings Allah Almighty gives are pure, provision. Why did they eat pure provision? They obeyed Allah. Yes. 'Verily We settled the Children of Israel in a fine homeland and provided them with pure blessings. They did not fall into division until knowledge came to them.

Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgement concerning what they used to differ on, concerning the things they differed on.' Yes. So, until knowledge came to these people; what is knowledge? The Book. And to David the Psalms that were given. After that, to Jesus the Gospel that was given; after that the true knowledge, after the Quran came, they fell completely into division and from Allah, from the Prophet, from the Quran they turned their faces away.

Because the Children of Israel's obedience to Allah and His prophets was on the religion of Islam, Allah, after the Wilderness of Tih, settled them in the present-day states of Jerusalem. After that they spread to the regions of Damascus, Egypt and Jordan. These, together with David.

These (?) were confined for 40 years. The reason for this is that, as Allah Almighty decreed, for them to enter that Jerusalem city, Moses chose 12 men, and of these 12, except for 2, 10 men told their own tribes about the situation, and they said: 'O Moses, you go with Allah and fight, win the place, then we will go'; and so Allah Almighty for 40 years confined them in the Wilderness of Tih.

Moses and Aaron also died in the Wilderness of Tih.

Their children, together with David, (?), came out of the Wilderness of Tih and spread to these regions of Damascus, Egypt and Jordan.

There they res-, benefited from the provisions Allah (?), from the fertile lands. Then, over time, with the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) into the world as a prophet, and Allah Almighty sending the Holy Quran, the ocean of knowledge, as a mercy to the worlds, the Children of Israel, creating unrest among themselves, fell into division. The reason they fell into division is that they lived an age of ignorance, and the age of ignorance, with what traits do they live it? It is their living the age of ignorance with the feelings of their nafs. What are the feelings of their nafs?

It meets the feelings of their nafs. Their boasting of lineage, and a prophet not coming from among them, his coming from the Arab land, from among the people of Quraysh, because in them a situation arose that would hurt their pride and arrogance, because it arose, they do not believe in the Prophet. Actually they do believe. Not believing, with the feelings of the nafs, by going against him, they also turn their backs on Allah. Where is their ignorance here? Their ignorance, their ignorance: because the creation of the whole universe, its creation, was from the light of the Prophet, and people were created from his spirit, the greatest of themselves, the greatest of humanity, of the world, of the worlds, the greatest of created beings, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it is due to their failure to comprehend him.

This is their ignorance. Their lack of reason, their ignorance, the pride and arrogance of their nafs prevented them from seeing this. Yes. They still continue in the same direction.

When these began to acquire knowledge, division began among them. Some people, understanding through the miracles of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he was the Seal of the Prophets, accepted Islam and became Muslims. Among them, Abdullah ibn Salam and those following him went over to Islam.

Finally, after Jesus, the Jewish nation, the Children of Israel, that another prophet would come, the books in their hands already announce it. It is written in the Torah, in the Psalms and in the Gospel. Although the gap between no prophets went beyond 100 years, 150 years, between Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) there are 400-odd years. In this case the Children of Israel become afraid. Wondering whether the Day of Judgement is about to come. 'Why does Allah not send a prophet?' they say. Why does He not send one? Pay attention to this event. Why does He not send one? That is, a prophet will come.

People who panicked in 400 years, people who panicked. 1400-odd years pass in between. Those who were waiting for the Prophet to come, although 1400-odd years have passed, are not waiting for the prophet, not waiting for him to come.

People who panicked in 400 years, in 1400 years do not panic, and although, using their reason, they comprehend that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a true prophet, that he is the Seal of the Prophets, that he came as the last prophet, they never come near to it. Why? Out of their pride and arrogance. They already, in pre-eternity, when Allah Almighty, in the covenant of 'Alastu bi-rabbikum', said 'I am your Lord', out of their pride and arrogance, out of the desires of their nafs, saw Allah Almighty in the form of a human being like themselves, and out of their pride and arrogance did not believe that Allah is Allah.

There they (?) their backs to Allah, and our Lord called them lying disbelievers and branded them. They had themselves branded. Yes.

They are still not going to come. They are not going to come to faith. Of course, exceptions do not break the rule.

When these began to acquire knowledge, division began among them. Some people, understanding through the Prophet's miracles that he was the Seal of the Prophets, accepted Islam and became Muslims. Among them, Abdullah and those following him went over to Islam.

And some, because the Prophet was not from their own people, became envious and (?). Therefore they denied Allah and His Messenger. But Allah, about these denials (?), about the things they fell into division over, will give His judgement. When will He give His judgement? When the Day of Judgement breaks and in the realm of the Hereafter the Supreme Court is set up: 'Come here, you, although, with the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) so many miracles, among yourselves you confirmed that he too was a prophet, yet with your nafs, out of pride, out of your arrogance, deifying your nafs, because you turned your back on the word of Allah's Essence, today your place,' He says, 'is this fire of Hell.' Yes.

That is where they will go; the judgement He spoke of, 'He will judge concerning what is between them', is the fire of Hell. For those who deny.
