(Oh My Messenger!) If you are in doubt over what We have sent down to you (regarding this matter), ask those who were reading the Book (Torah) before you. Verily, a truth came to you from your Lord. Do not be amongst the doubters!
Tafsir
In this verse, Allah (swt) addresses the Prophet (pbuh) and in fact addresses his ummah and mankind. This is because the Prophet (PBUH) was brought up by Allah (swt). In this respect, he was the first of the creatures (wa ma erselnake illa rahmeten lil-alemin). He said to the Prophet (PBUH), "Do not be one of the skeptics; do not be envious of the filth of those who live in disbelief and the pomp and splendor of the world in the face of people seeing so many miracles, and do not incline to them.
Today, some people with weak faith say that if the religion of non-Muslims had not been true, would they have lived in this world in such splendor? In response, we say to these people that Allah is just and fair, He gives to those who work. His mercy is for everyone in the universe. In this respect, since the people He created are His servants, in the realm of the unseen, they are under the mercy of Allah, whoever they are, religious or irreligious, while they are living. And those who are under the mercy of Allah, Allah will treat them with justice because He will treat them with His mercy.
Today, non-Muslims have worked and advanced in technology, while Islam is pursuing pleasure and earning the world without working. There is no mistake in the analogy. If these people were all your children and you, as a father, were to judge between them with justice, which one would you reward? So the fault is not with Islam, the fault is with ourselves. If we do not live Islam, if we move away from it, if we do not do what Allah says, if we envy non-Muslims, if we act immorally in a way that makes them look like stones, and then we think that if the religion of non-Muslims were not true, they would not have progressed, then if we do not look for the blame in ourselves, we will blame the religion of Islam.
Behold, O human being! When the Qur'an, which is the truth, has come, when the Creator of you is guiding you and inviting you to salvation, don't be robbed by road-breakers and bandits. If you have a dispute about the Qur'an, you will find in the Qur'an, and in the Books before the Qur'an, the Verses sent by Allah. So do not follow those who change the Verses of Allah with their hands, leaving what suits them and leaving what does not suit them, and follow a false religion. Do not doubt about Allah and the Hereafter.
What is said in the video
Surah Yunus, verse 94: My Messenger, if you are in doubt about what We have sent down to you, about these events We relate, then those before you who read the Book, the Torah — ask them. Truly, the truth has come to you from your Lord. So never be among the doubters. Now, such a verse coming to the Prophet (peace be upon him), people, those who call themselves scholars, who call themselves scholars,
talk all kinds of nonsense about the Prophet (peace be upon him) like this. Through the Prophet (peace be upon him), this verse is for his community — what is it? It is also for all people. For all people. To whom is it sent down? To all people. This verse is said in the sense of 'I'm telling you, my daughter, so that you understand, my daughter-in-law.' The qualities of the Prophet (peace be upon him) can never be reconciled with this verse. Because Allah Almighty, as we said, speaks figuratively. As they said, as He said: they will be gathered blind and sightless. In fact they are blind and sightless because they are in the hereafter as they were in the world; because they cannot see the truth, because their characters will not be turned to faith, they are blind and sightless.
This, too, is a verse said in that way. What does it say? My Messenger, if you are in doubt about what We have sent down to you, about these events We relate, ask those who read the Book, the Torah, before you. In that case, Hodja, you say so, but in this verse, can you show a verse that does not concern the Prophet (peace be upon him), that is not said to him? Yes. Of course I can show it. What does it say? The Prophet says: my Lord raised me. He raised me well. He sent him as a mercy to the worlds. Ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn. Never did the Prophet (peace be upon him) fall into doubt about Allah Almighty.
In that case, those poor people who talk nonsense based on this verse, those poor people, are belittling the Prophet's honor. And by pointing at places they do not know, they grieve the Prophet. At the same time, by interpreting Allah's verses wrongly and falsely, even if they do not fall into kufr, they become sinners. They are sinners.
Truly, the truth has come to you from your Lord. So never be among the doubters. Yes. Through the Prophet. Indeed, when the Prophet, for some questions asked to him, before an answer came from our Lord, was waiting, and said: 'Has my Lord become cross with me? Is He cross?', Allah Almighty sends a verse. It says: Your Lord has not become cross with you, nor is He angry with you. It says: Your Lord has not become cross with you. With these words, is this verse compatible? But what does the verse do? If, figuratively, He had told people that He was speaking about the Prophet, people, within their nafs-driven feelings, what would they say against Allah Almighty?
They would say: I am not in doubt. In the conversations, people would fall into personal matters. But when He tells it through the Prophet, every person takes their share of it. Yes. In both words, Allah Almighty, by addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), is in fact addressing his community and people. You have written (?) here anyway. Because Allah Almighty raised the Prophet (peace be upon him) by educating him. In this respect, since he is the first of the created beings, yes.
Ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn he has become. Saying to the Prophet (peace be upon him) 'do not be among the doubters' means: despite people seeing so many miracles, those living in kufr — the filth they commit and their going about in the world with pomp — may they not make you envious, and never lean towards them. (?) of his word, said in response to its address to those people, addressing them — a verse. Today some people weak in faith say: if the non-Muslims' religions had been true — who says this? Today, today some people weak in faith say: if the non-Muslims' religions had not been true, would they live so lavishly in this world?
They do say this indeed. Once the Ottomans, the conquerors, those who brought down the Middle Ages and opened a new age,
those who held the world in the palm of their hand without technology, because they ruled with Allah's word, these situations, these situations they lived. You don't take them as an example, yet (?) envying the life of the non-Muslim, envying their life, for a few moments of worldly pleasure you hold them up as an example. Turn back to your past a little, look at history. Turn back to your past, look at your history.
If you go further back, further back, to the time before the Prophet (peace be upon him) came into the world: those who buried their children alive in the ground. Those who were ashamed of their daughters. Those who killed those children. That the Prophet, with Allah Almighty — that Allah Almighty, through the Prophet, to those children, sir, gave the right to live, brought it about with Islam, and raised humanity with the dignity and honor of humanity to the heights. You (?) these, yet whose religion, which religion are you pointing to, envying their lives, holding this up as an example? If you used your mind a little, you would be ashamed to talk like this. That is how people far from the Quran's verses, with nafs-driven feelings, through what they say, expose their own ignorance and fully reveal and declare their faults.
Today some people weak in faith say: if the non-Muslims' religions had not been true, would they live so lavishly in this world? We answer these people: Allah is just, He is the Owner of justice. He gives to the one who works; He gives His mercy to everyone in the universe. This is another meaning. He will give to the one who works. If you live lazily, sir, and the other one works, then of course since Allah Almighty's mercy in the universe is for everyone, with His attribute of justice He will give to them. Allah is just. He is the Owner of justice. He gives to the one who works. His mercy in the universe is on everyone.
Therefore, since the people He created are His servants, while these people live in the unseen world, believer or unbeliever, whoever they are, they are under Allah's mercy. And since Allah will treat those under His mercy with mercy, He treats them with justice. Today the non-Muslim has worked and advanced in technology. Islam, however, has gone after pleasure and winning the world without working. Yes.
If we pay attention: how will we deceive each other? In what way will we harm each other? That's what we've gone after. Showing off to one another, showing off with the material things Allah has entrusted to us, boasting about them,
people, with these material things Allah has given us, seeing themselves as something, and when Satan whips up their gatherings, into high society (?), though high society doesn't do this, stripping completely naked; in that case, with that material wealth stripping oneself and exhibiting oneself to people, and living one's world in a pitiful state, (?) bankrupting one's hereafter. Is this humanity? Is this you boasting of material things and running your life with your mind?
Putting forward your own times. Yes.
So, with people's conduct and actions, with their work, Allah Almighty, using His attribute of justice, lets them too reach a certain place in return for their own effort. And Islam, likewise, continuing with nafs-driven feelings its immoral lives. Immoral. Today the non-Muslim has worked and advanced in technology. Islam, however, has gone after pleasure and winning the world without working. No offense in the comparison: if all these people were your children, and as a father you set out to judge justly between them, which one would you (?)? So the fault is not in Islam. The fault is in ourselves: if, not living Islam and moving away from it, instead of doing what Allah says, envying the non-Muslims, we behave immorally in a way that outdoes them, and then think that if the non-Muslim's religion were not true they would not have advanced — Peace be upon you, my answer to Cengiz Deste: don't you know?
(?) May Allah be pleased with you. Peace be upon you. You can listen to me on the internet. Peace be upon you. Peace be upon you.
Yes. If we get stuck in thinking that if the non-Muslim's religion were not true they would not have advanced, if we don't look for the fault in ourselves, then of course we set out to blame the religion of Islam.
O mankind, do not fall into doubt about Allah and be among the doubters. Read Allah's book; by reading books written by this one, that one, so-and-so, by taking books written by people who serve (?) ideologies, read these books thinking you will gain knowledge about Allah's book. Now that the Quran, the truth, has come, now that the Quran has come, while the One who created you guides you and invites you to salvation, do not get robbed by highwaymen and bandits. If you fall into a dispute about the Quran, in the Holy Quran, in the books before the Quran, you will see the verses Allah sent. So, do not follow those who, changing Allah's verses with their own hands, keeping what suits them, removing what doesn't, go after a false religion.
Never be in doubt about Allah and the hereafter. Yes.
