Truths, in the light of the verses, for some people bound by superstitions who assume the Spirit is Jibril (pbuh). The Spirit is not Jibril; it is Allah the Exalted.

This evening, to you, before going into the lesson, against some false beliefs, with evidence, we will try to tell the truth. With evidence. In the face of the whole Islamic world believing in superstitions and being ruled by these superstitions, people's minds stop working too; in the face of Allah Almighty saying that one Muslim is worth three unbelievers, instead of ruling over him not with his strength but with his reason, because he is ruled by falsehoods, because he is ruled by falsehoods and superstitions, a non-Muslim establishes dominion over these people ruled by superstitions, that is, setting them against each other and quite comfortably imposing over them whatever ideology and rule he wants.

One of the superstitions, as I always explain, is the belief that the Spirit is Gabriel (peace be upon him).

Yesterday a group of people, whose names I will not say, come to visit us. Yesterday these people, who have drawn millions after them, in a certain place, certain people, having travelled the world, settled here, and the one who is the hodja there also comes here with them.

When we began to explain some of the truth to them, since the people are ruled by superstitions, he says to me: Inna anzalnahu fi laylatil- qadr, wa laylatul-qadri khayrun min alfi shahr. The verse after this, tanazzalul-mala'ikatu war-ruh: who is the Spirit here, he says. The Spirit here is Allah Almighty Himself, I said.

He sees it in his dream, he says. A person, how nicely he confesses his own shame. If I made this up, if I saw it in my dream, do you have any evidence in your hand that the Spirit is Gabriel (peace be upon him)? But I have evidence in my hand; with verses, in hand there is evidence that the Spirit is not Gabriel (peace be upon him). My evidence is the verses. What is the evidence in your hand? Listen well. It is up to you. Again, that the Spirit is not Gabriel (peace be upon him).

One piece of evidence. Do you know, it says, what the Night of Qadr is? The Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months with no Qadr in them. Better than a thousand months.

In the first piece of evidence, if the Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months with Qadr in them, then when Gabriel (peace be upon him) came and went to the Prophet (peace be upon him), every time he came it would be Qadr. Quite clear. Every time he came it would be Qadr, and every time he came the Messenger of Allah would be better than a thousand months. And every time he came, everywhere until morning, until dawn, would be safe. Is that so? If this is Gabriel (peace be upon him). What is your other evidence, Hodja? The second piece of evidence is very clear too. Look, what does Allah Almighty say?

The angels and the Spirit. The angel is created from the light of the Messenger of Allah. Well, what is Gabriel (peace be upon him)? Is Gabriel (peace be upon him) a human being? If Gabriel (peace be upon him) is a spirit, who is the angel?

Gabriel (peace be upon him) is an angel. Is that so? Can you prove him to be anything other than an angel? He is an angel. So: angel and angel descended to the earth, does Allah Almighty say that? You of superstition, think well. Think well. Evidence with verses in hand. Where is your evidence?

It is very hard to deal with these superstitions. Because they have planted them, after all. All these people, he says, have done it crooked and is yours alone right? All these people, for close to two hundred years, in order to degenerate the religion of Islam, have brought superstitions inside like this. Appearing as scholars, they planted non-Muslims inside as hodjas, and they tried to degenerate the religion of Islam with superstitions in this way.

In this case they tried to remove the truth and spread falsehood over the truth.

Superstitions, did you find the field empty? If Allah Almighty will not call anyone to account for a thing He has not made known to those who come, then, will Allah Almighty, having made the superstitions known to those who come, hold your ruling above His own word?

As they were leaving, I said: I have some advice for you. My advice: listen to me, I said.

They are going out the door. I have some advice for you, I said. Listen to this. Do not let your mind be mortgaged to anyone's mind, to anyone's ideology, I said. Learn to make comparisons. In His verse Allah Almighty says: will you not use your minds at all? I said. Use your minds. Your minds: to anything without evidence in hand, that is, without evidence in the light of the verses, to no ideology or idea, I said, let yourselves be carried away. This is my advice to you, I said. Well, farewell, he said. Yes. So, Allah Almighty: tanazzalul- mala'ikatu war-ruh. We, it says, together with the angel, and the Spirit descend to the earth, to the earth.

Since the angel is a light, since He says the angel and the Spirit, did angel and angel descend, if it is Gabriel? Did light, the angel, and light descend to the earth?

Can't you understand anything from this either? In this case these people, with these ideologies, those old ones of the past, the people they drew after them: those with reason turn back, and those without reason, those who followed them, go on like that. He asks his hodja: what does the Spirit mean? The Spirit is Gabriel, he says.

If the Spirit is Gabriel, then: when that which covered covered the Sidra. The Sidra. If it is Gabriel: had you taken one more step, you would have burned, he says. Gabriel, who at the Sidra would burn if he took one more step,

how could he cover the Sidra? I mean, how could he embrace it? I mean, how could he take it within his frame? Or how could he take it under his rule?

And He revealed. Allah revealed to His servant what He revealed, it says. He drew down and was about two bows' length away. He drew down. He was about two bows' length away.

Where? Allah Almighty, who is beyond time and space, seeing the Messenger of Allah off as far as the Sidrat al-Muntaha; there, it says, he was seen once more in his true form. What does he say? Gabriel. Well, does Gabriel change attributes?

Do these change attributes?

In this case Allah says: He revealed to His servant what He revealed. What is revelation, I asked, and they just stood there (?). Revelation is Allah Almighty, who is beyond time and space, making His verses known to His prophet, who is within time and space, I said. Making His verses known to His servant; making something known to the heart of a Muslim, I said, is inspiration. It is the counterpart of the verses. It is inspiration. See, most people do not know what inspiration is, it says. Why do most people not know what inspiration is? One will pass through nafs al-ammara, pass through nafs al-lawwama, pass through nafs al-mulhima, and rise to nafs al-mutma'inna.

Here, when he attains the quality of a believer, he will receive a little something. Knowingly or unknowingly. But once he enters nafs al-radiya through the gate of ilm al-yaqin, there he will receive inspiration. When you take out of yourself those (?), those (?), the worldly attachments in your heart, that discord, that wickedness, those falsehoods, your mind is put in order; when Allah puts His light into that heart and you rise to nafs al-radiya and enter through ilm al-yaqin, through the gate of ilm al-yaqin, when you receive Allah's inspiration, did you know inspiration? Did you know what inspiration is?

So, finally, as they were leaving, as they were walking, behind them I said: one minute, gentlemen, I will tell you one more thing.

The prophets, I said, tried to convey the truth to non-Muslims. Those were non-Muslims, I said. As for me, I said, explaining the truth to these people known as Muslims, to these people who say I am Islam, to people who say I am Muslim and are ruled by superstitions, is harder than explaining it to a non-Muslim, I said.

Because the Muslim knows everything. He knows everything, according to his own mind. Yes. May Allah grant us a good understanding and perception. Surely what I have explained has been understood: that Gabriel is not the Spirit; the strongest proof that Gabriel is not the Spirit I also explained at the start, with my first words: Gabriel (peace be upon him) would come to the Messenger of Allah and bring the revelation; the revelation, the Holy Quran; bringing the revelation does not mean revealing. They have fallen into such a dim-witted state, people who say Islam is mine, but they have drowned in the words and are ruled by superstitions; bringing the revelation does not mean revealing. The Quran is a revelation.

Its descent from the Preserved Tablet to the Sidrat al-Muntaha, its coming down to the place called Qadr, Gabriel (peace be upon him) taking that revelation from there as far as Allah Almighty permitted, that is, taking the surahs and reciting them to the Messenger of Allah, is not revealing. Yes.

What does this resemble? I am giving you something in trust, I am leaving the trust here. Accept this as a trust. This is the trust. To whom? A trust to all of you. Who is leaving it? Allah Almighty. Where? In a place within time and space. To Gabriel (peace be upon him), who is within time and space, He says: I have revealed this surah to the heart of My Beloved. Go and take that surah from there. Gabriel (peace be upon him) does not know it either. If he knew it, would he take the surah from there and recite it? Memorize that surah from there. They are exactly like a memory, like a, look, like a (?).

Recite it to him.

Gabriel (peace be upon him) taking this revelation from here, taking it from the place where it was left, and reciting it to the Messenger of Allah, is that revealing? See, people who cannot tell these words apart have drowned in these words and are ruled by superstitions.

Yes.

May Allah grant a good perception, grant a good understanding, and to Islam a good awakening may He grant. May my Lord grant us to make the truth heard by people. We are worn out with falsehoods. With falsehoods.

He says exactly this word: All these people, he says. All these people. Right, but are you the one who is right? I mean, is only your word right?

That my word is right, I said, do not take it into account. Compare the word I say with the verses, I said. With the verses. But you do not have the head to understand that verse, I said.

Yes.

These people go on fully ruled by superstitions. It is very hard to explain the truth to them. Being ruled by falsehoods. In fact, the Prophet did not spread this religion with the old, he spread it with the young, with the young. Because the minds of the young, against superstitions, are far more above reason, against superstitions, but above reason. Because the superstition is finished, ruled by falsehoods. That is why the young, the young, their respect for these superstitions has ceased, the young. Look at the game being played. Look at the game being played on Islam. Pay attention to the game of estranging children from their parents, from their mothers and fathers. First they remove the Quran.

The Quran cannot be removed, but with the media, with the press, by using every kind of means, to people, to Muslims,

they remove the Quran and instil their own ideology in them. Then they fill them with superstitions. These come in parts. Part by part. When the children of people full of superstitions go to school, in order to tear those children away from their parents: don't you pay attention to them. They are old, of past ideas. Their heads don't work anymore. That is really so. The men are not lying. It is so. Their heads don't work. By saying do not follow them, he makes two hauls at once. One, in the religion of Islam, he destroys obedience to mother and father. Two, he distances people from the religion of Islam.

Look at the game they play. Who is doing this? People so carried away by such superstitions that they cannot compare the truth with falsehood, who are ruled by falsehood and live in falsehood in drunkenness.

People who draw others after them and instil falsehood in those people too.

Yes. Wake up.

May Allah grant us a good perception.

I mean, all the people, he says, are all wrong. Are you the one who is right?

That is how he puts it. Now I will read a verse. It comes exactly on this subject. Our daughter of yours says: we stopped at verse 104 of Surah Yunus, she says. Surah Yunus, verse 104. Look how verse 104 of Surah Yunus is. Allah's grace and generosity brings it and puts it there. Say: O people. To whom does He say it? To the Prophet (peace be upon him), and also to the scholars: say, O people, if you are in doubt about my religion; and I say: if you are in doubt about what I explain, if you are in doubt, know that I will not abandon Allah and worship what you worship. And I will not abandon Allah, abandon these verses of Allah, and return to your superstitions.

But I serve only Allah, who will cause you to die; I serve Him, I worship Him, because the Lord of the worlds, our Lord who created us, I was commanded to be among the believers, it says; if my Lord has entrusted a duty to me too, I too was commanded to live Islam within this duty of mine, in this station. I was commanded to explain the truth. Because that is a duty. This is a command. If I do not do it, I will have turned my back on Allah with falsehoods, with these superstitions, like you. Yes.

I say to people, to the whole world, to all people, to the scholars: if I am wrong, set me on the right path. Not with Ahmet's or Mehmet's person, but by showing evidence with Allah's verses, I said. Set me on the right path. If you are wrong, come to the truth, I say. Not a sound. Since you are such a scholar, tell me something. Tell me a verse.

Tell me a verse showing that I am wrong. Heads down. Nothing at all. Call it stubbornness, call it the whims of the nafs: a curse branded on their necks (?), head always held high, tail raised like a scorpion's (?). He cannot turn to the truth. He cannot digest the truth.

Yes.

Think what state the Muslim is in.

Suppose I am in falsehood. And you have drawn millions after you and are leading them along. Explain it to me. Save me from that fire.

I will obey you. But as I said a moment ago, explain it to me with Allah's verses. Explain with evidence in hand. Those people of ideology who, with their ideologies, on the religion of Islam have turned their backs, turned their backs, who, apart from that, in order to bind people to their own ideas, write books and read those books saying I am doing scholarship; if you tell me their ideologies, even if you added another universe to this universe and put these seven heavens and Allah's Throne into it, I still would not turn to you. I still would not turn to you. Yes. Know the truth well, make no concessions to anyone but Allah, do not go outside Allah's verses; we are all human, we make mistakes, there is no servant without fault, because Allah created our minds lacking; the human being is one who, knowing the mistake he has made, bows to his Lord and asks for His pardon and forgiveness.

That is the person who fits what Allah created. Although they explain the truth to you, deifying the whims of your nafs and still persisting stubbornly in the falsehood you know, drawing a great crowd after you and, claiming you will tell them the truth, telling them falsehoods and indulging your nafs, tomorrow at the Great Court in the presence of Allah Almighty, without thinking of what the answer you will give will bring, throwing yourself knowingly into the fire, does it show that you are wise? Does it show that you have sound reason? Tomorrow at the Great Court, in the presence of Allah Almighty, you will not be able to say you did not hear.

My Lord makes it heard like this. He lets it pass even as far as here, makes it heard.

You will not be able to say I did not hear. Because my Lord does not call anyone to account for a thing He has not made heard. While I always speak with verses, what are you speaking with? What are you speaking with?

Yes.

As I said a moment ago, may Allah grant us a good awakening. May He reform the people who draw millions after them. May He grant them to turn to the truth and to be ruled by the truth. Yes.

How beautifully He says it. Look, I am reading the verse once more. Say: O people, if you are in doubt about my religion, if you too are in doubt about the word I explain, there are verses. I always speak with verses. Evidence. Hodja, if you say the verse you show does not concern that, open this place for me. Isn't that so? Open this place. Yes. Know that I will not abandon Allah and worship what you worship. I mean, I will not mortgage my mind to those superstitions you made up, to those ideologies the non-Muslim has used over you. And I will not follow them. But I truly serve only Allah, who will cause you to die.

I do not go outside the Lord of the worlds. I do not go outside His command. Yes. I am human. I make mistakes. But I am always with my Lord.
