Tafsir
O people! If you have any doubt about the religion sent by Allah, Islam, know that I do not worship what you worship, leaving Allah. People who pretend to worship Allah with their ideologies and rituals, which they have invented as religions other than Islam, are actually entertaining their ego by associating shirk with Allah. People who are Allah's servants and consider some of them to be Allah's wives and sons are worshipping Allah's creations. Therefore, worshipping Allah's creatures by believing in religions other than Islam as religions and performing rituals according to their minds, when there is no God but Allah, and no religion other than Islam has any validity in the sight of Allah, is nothing but ascribing shirk to Allah. According to the verse, "All souls will taste death," my worship and servitude is to Allah, who kills and then resurrects beings, who is the only One, who has no spouse, no partner, no wife, no children, and who does not need anything.
The Prophet (PBUH) was sent as a Prophet to all mankind and the jinn, to teach people the religion of Islam, which will continue until the Day of Resurrection, and to spread the light of Allah on earth and to complete good morals, according to the verse, "For I was commanded to be among the believers. As an example to all mankind and a witness over all the Prophets, he was commanded to call people to Allah and to the religion of Islam, after which neither a Prophet nor a religion has come.

So do not let the thought cross your mind, "Hodja, we spend our lesson on superstitions," and never say such a thing. This is more important than the lesson. Because while telling you that superstition, I am giving you the essence of the verses. I am binding you to the verses. This is even more virtuous than the tafsir, than the verse I will read to you.
I also read the verses; as much as stays in your mind, you will abide by them.
O people, if you are in doubt about the religion Allah sent, the religion of Islam, then know that, leaving Allah aside, what you worship I will not worship. People who, with ideologies they made up as a religion other than Islam, with rituals, appear to be worshipping Allah are in fact amusing their nafs by associating partners with Allah. Isn't that so? As far as I'm concerned, it is.
Because, as I said a moment ago, with words they made up themselves, claiming to describe Allah, they act according to people's nafs, according to them, people who even sell the keys to Paradise. People who are Allah's servants and who regard some servants as Allah's wife and sons — think of them. All created beings are Allah's servants.
Allah is free from wife and children. Kul huvallahu ehad, Allahu's-samed, lem yelid ve lem yuled, ve lem yekun lehû kufuven ehad. He subsists by His own essence. He is free from wife and children. Subsisting by His essence means: existing by Himself, created by no being, who has not begotten and was not begotten, the Owner of the worlds, our Lord. Why? I use the word Rabb. In the sense of Creator. Rabb is the Creator. Yes.
People who are Allah's servants and, some servants Allah's — all created beings being Allah's servants, and among these servants, people who regard some as Allah's wife and sons: calling Jesus the son of Allah, and the Jews calling Ezra (peace be upon him) the son of Allah, saying, "We are close to Allah," saying, "In Hell no punishment will touch us for more than a day or two" — people who, with Allah Almighty, (?) without any proof in their hands; Allah Almighty gives them such a fine answer. Then, He says, then let them wish for death. Death, if they own that place. Do they have a proof in their hands, He says, a proof?
Let them show the proof in their hands. But Allah shows His proofs. With what? That He subsists by His essence, that all created people were, by their Lord, created, that there is no god in the universe besides Him — in all they say 6666 verses, but in 6300-odd verses Allah Almighty proves it. In every one of His verses. In this case, people speaking with their own ideology is like clattering in a stork's nest. Yes.
People who are Allah's servants — that is, this whole universe created by Allah, and people too being Allah's servants — and who regard some servants as Allah's wife and sons, these people worship Allah's creations. Therefore, as there is no god but Allah, and in Allah's sight no religion other than Islam has any validity left, believing in religions other than Islam as religion, performing rituals as their minds see fit, worshipping Allah's creations, is associating partners with Allah and nothing else. Yes. They —
their only distinction from the idolaters is that they know Allah, but closeness, again by worshipping Allah, because they worship Allah's creations, they commit shirk. The others, on the other hand, do not believe in Allah: the idolaters. Placing the Lord of their imagination into the idol they made with their own hands, and in that way shaping it and worshipping it: the (?) between them are only slightly close, but one still both worships his Lord and worships His creations. He associates partners with Him. The other does not worship Allah at all. Expecting the Lord of his imagination, giving it shape, he worships it.
That makes him an idolater.
So say to them: Here is my worship and my servitude — according to the verse "Every soul shall taste death" — belong to the One who causes beings to die and then revives them, the One without spouse or partner, wife or children, Allah, who needs nothing. Yes. My worship is my Lord; these are the writings that correspond to this verse and also to my feelings. The Prophet (peace be upon him), being the Seal of the Prophets, came as a prophet to all people and jinn. For I have been commanded to be among the believers.
If I have said the shahada and am a Muslim, if I have said, "I know my Lord and will submit to what You say," it means I was commanded to be bound by the sharia ruling of Islam. It means I have bound myself to that command. Yes. Because the Prophet (peace be upon him) was also charged with a duty, to Allah as well, in his heart, with a love and affection no human has felt, in a form that none could feel — because he knew Allah, what does he say? The Prophet (peace be upon him), so as not to worship what those people worship anyway — what does he say? Being the Seal of the Prophets, he came as a prophet to all people and jinn.
By the verse "For I was commanded to be among the believers": the religion of Islam, which will last until the Day of Judgment — to teach it to people, to spread Allah's light on earth, and to complete good character: he is a prophet sent for that. That is why it was commanded to him. What was commanded? He was commanded to be among the believers. Who are the believers? Those who know Allah. It is a nafs that has come to rest. "O soul at rest! With your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord, go among My servants, go into My Paradise" — they are the people to whom He says this, and this is a prophet.
Yes. If he was commanded to be among the believers, he is a prophet. And that prophet is no ordinary prophet. All prophets have tasted death. The Prophet too has tasted death, and is alive. "When you reach a dead end, refer to Allah and His Messenger," He says. Hodja, is Allah among us? Yes. Our referring to the verses is our referring to Allah. And our referring to the Prophet, to the hadiths, is our referring to the Prophet. And since he is alive — alive —
the validity of his religion until the Day of Judgment, and until the Day of Judgment the sovereignty of his religion over all religions, its exaltedness, in proportion to the Prophet's coming as a mercy to the worlds, keeping his religion firm until the Day of Judgment, that is, making its rule prevail. Will they extinguish Allah's light with the blowing of their mouths? According to the verse in which He says Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment, His exalting the Prophet's honor. That is why He sent him as the last prophet. Yes.
To teach people the religion of Islam, which will last until the Day of Judgment, and to spread Allah's light on earth, to complete good character, he was sent. As an example to all people and a witness over all prophets, inviting people to Allah and to the religion of Islam, after which neither a prophet nor a religion will come — this is what he was commanded.
