Translation

Say; “Oh, humankind! Now, the Truth (the Qur’an) hath reached you from your Lord! Those who receive guidance do so for the good of their own souls; those who stray, do so to their own loss: and I am not (assigned) over you to arrange your affairs (I am only responsible to proclaim).”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) addressed the people: O people! The Qur'an has come to you from Allah, the Word of Allah, showing the truth, enlightening people's paths, teaching them what they do not know and calling them to salvation. Then whoever returns to Allah and His Messenger and believes in the Hereafter, good will come to him and for him. And whoever leaves the right path of Allah and goes astray, that too will go astray for him and to his own detriment. No one will be held to account for the sins and good deeds of anyone. Every soul's good deeds and good deeds belong to them.

In this respect, address the Prophet (SAW) and say, "My Prophet! I am not a watchman over you or a guardian. The meaning of the guardian here is that the Prophet (SAW) is not the guardian of people who do not recognize Allah and the Prophet and who deny the Hereafter because of the sins they commit in their willpower. He will not be held responsible for the sins these people commit. He will not intercede for them.

But the Prophet (PBUH), who is the one who is responsible for announcing the command of Allah, is the one who calls people to guidance, who gives good tidings of Paradise, and who scares people of Hell. It is God's will.

What is said in the video

In Surah Yunus, verse 108: "O people, from your Lord the truth, that is, the Quran, has come to you.

So whoever comes to the right path comes only for himself. And whoever goes astray goes astray only against himself. I am not a guardian over you; I am only charged with conveying." Yes. Allah Almighty addresses the Prophet (peace be upon him) so beautifully; what does He say? O people, the Quran has come to you from your Lord as the truth.

What you worship — making them with your hands and saying "inside is Allah's spirit," your idols you accept as gods, make vows to them, associate partners with Allah; while with what Allah to you —

yes, while with the Quran, which Allah has sent you, you should find the truth, while there is no god but Allah, what you made with your hands — worshipping them as gods, serving those who can touch themselves with neither harm nor benefit, and expecting something from them is not the true remedy, He says. Use your minds. The Quran has come to you from your Lord as the truth. What is the Quran? That which will illuminate our path, solve our difficulties, bind us with sharia rulings, give us human dignity, raise our honor and dignity to sublimity, bring our deficient minds to perfection — Allah's true verses have come, He says.

So whoever comes to the right path — that is, whoever follows these verses, whoever fulfills what Allah says — he himself, only for himself, will have come to the path. He will come to that right path only for himself. Allah has no need of whether people come to the right path or not. Nor does Allah need to have His essence worshipped.

(?) Why did He create us? He created us so that His essence would be known. And Allah, who brought us into being from nothing — look, He provided us with food, drink, pleasure, life. If we had not existed, what would we know of? But Allah Almighty gave us an existence. He gave us a portion of His essence. He honored us. So if we, with our deficient minds, with the Quran that Allah has sent us, with the sharia ruling, regard Allah's path, Allah's laws as true and follow them, for ourselves, for our own benefit we will have followed the truth. Where is our benefit here, Hodja? Whoever abides by what Allah says, Allah Almighty, in our original homeland, the hereafter, will grant him His Paradise.

His Paradise. Yes. And whoever goes astray — that is, with egoistic feelings, with pride and arrogance, with the egotism and grandiosity in him, turns his back on Allah. He calls His commands the laws of past ages. And "this doesn't address this age; it addresses past times," he says. By his own mind, he doesn't like Allah's laws. And saying it doesn't address this age, with his own egoistic feelings, this person — whom Satan, stripping him stark naked, drags behind him, yokes by the neck and uses as a slave — will have gone astray against himself.

Yes. And whoever goes astray goes astray only against himself. I am not a guardian over you. That is, I am not responsible for you, he says.

So you're not responsible. Why do you tell us, then?

My Lord sent me to make the word of truth heard to you, he says. The word of truth. I'm doing my duty. I am obliged to make it heard to you. The decisions you make from here on are yours, he says. That is, at the covenant of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, when you made your covenant with Allah Almighty, your wishes and desires, your will — Allah Almighty wrote them for you as destiny; according to the verse "Unless Allah wills, you cannot will," no human, not even himself, can change his own destiny; and if, by Allah's command, I have conveyed the truth to you, he says. If I have conveyed it, I am charged with fulfilling my duty, he says. Charged. In this case I am not a guardian over you.

If I were a guardian over you, I would be responsible for what you do, he says. For what you do. I am not responsible for what you do either. I am only charged with conveying, he says. Yes.

Allah Almighty, addressing people: O people! From Allah there has come to you — Allah's word, showing the truth, illuminating people's paths, teaching what they did not know, and to people, calling people to salvation — the Quran has come. The Quran. Allah's sharia rulings have come. "Oh, we have no need of Allah's sharia ruling. Look how fine our civil laws are today.

With civil laws we're governed so nicely according to the times." (?) (?) I want to remind you of these things.

Among the beings He created, Allah Almighty created man the most honorable. The most honorable. And to this man, whom He created honorable above the worlds, He gave a portion of His spirit. In this case man, above other creatures, superior in merit and as the addressee of Allah's essence, was held. So this human has human dignity, honor and dignity, decency and chastity. What does he have? Honor and dignity. Compared to other creatures, he has chastity. When people are governed by this law we call civil law, we see all around: adultery is free, prostitution is free. Who sleeps with whom is unknown.

Is this honor and dignity? Is this decency and glory? Is it?

In Allah's law, a Muslim's — to a Muslim — life, property and chastity are inviolable (haram). His honor is inviolable. So if a Muslim regards a Muslim as a brother, protects his honor like (?), and gives importance to his honor and dignity, then man, created among creatures as the noblest of creation (ashraf al-makhluqat), gains great value in Allah's sight. With what does he gain it? He gains it with Allah's laws.

Now, civil law and Allah's content, ruling, law — can you compare them?

But those who yearn for the old — the reactionaries, aren't there reactionaries — you know, there are those who say (?), those who bury their children alive in the ground and think themselves enlightened, you know — yearning for the old, stripping their mothers and sisters, their daughters and sisters, squandering them at drinking tables and pushing them aside — ask them, and these people of this mentality, people who cannot satisfy their (?), consider people reactionaries — they do. People who undress, and who cannot quench the lust of their carnal desires on other people, on decent people, or on their own siblings — to such people Allah's word is heavy.

Now Allah Almighty says: O people, We created you honorable. If you do not protect your honor and dignity, if you go outside what We said, just as you (?) in the middle of that straight road, in the hereafter, in Hell, which We (?), of which it says "what an evil place of return," for you it will be a fine bed, He says. Yes.

O people! From Allah there has come to you — Allah's word, showing the truth, illuminating people's paths, teaching what they did not know, and calling people to salvation — the Quran. The Quran will protect my honor, my dignity, my decency, my chastity. It will protect my place as the most honorable among creatures. Allah's laws have come to us. Yes. From now on, whoever turns to Allah and His Messenger and comes to the hereafter, for his own benefit and for himself will come to good. To good, for himself. And whoever leaves Allah's right path and goes astray, he too, in his own favor, for himself, will go astray.

No one — no one is called to account for anyone else's sins and good deeds. What does Allah Almighty say? Everyone — Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerratin hayran yerah Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerratin şerran yerah — according to the verse in which He says this, everyone, by what he has done, an atom's weight of evil and an atom's weight of good, will be judged. On that day, He says, at the Supreme Court, Allah Almighty — on the day when the ruling belongs to Him alone — without anyone being wronged, to everyone what they earned will be given, as the return for their own two hands, He says. Yes. So no one is called to account for anyone else's sins and good deeds.

The good and the good deeds each soul has done belong to itself.

In this respect, through the address of the Prophet (peace be upon him): I am not a watcher or a guardian over you. Here the meaning of guardian: because of the sins people committed within their partial will, to people who do not recognize Allah and the Prophet and deny the hereafter, the Prophet (peace be upon him) is not in the position of their wali (protector). And for the sins these people committed he will not be held responsible. Nor will he intercede for them. Because about those who do not recognize Allah and His Messenger, Allah Almighty says that all the fine deeds they did have gone to waste, and that in the hereafter they are alone and without anyone; according to this verse, no friend of Allah and no prophet will intercede for such people who deny Allah.

Yes. However, the Prophet (peace be upon him), charged with making Allah's command heard, is one who calls people to guidance, gives good news of Paradise, and warns of Hell. (?) is Allah's. Yes.
