Translation

They are the ones who prevent (people) from Allah’s path and who try to make it appear twisted. And they are the ones who deny the Hereafter.

Tafsir

These people, those who are cruel to their own souls, those who deny Allah and the Hereafter, these people are the ones who try to persecute other people, to turn them away from the path of Allah. They try to make the way of Allah look crooked, and they bring discord between people by reviving anarchy with their own minds. (When it is said to them, "Do not make mischief in the earth, they say, 'We are only reformers') and in the twelfth verse of the same Surah (Know that they are the mischief-makers themselves, but they do not understand).

These are the people. They do not recognize Allah, the Book and the Prophet. They follow what their nafs likes, they are greedy and eager for worldly goods, they run after lust, they do not think about the honor and dignity of others, they know that the life of this world is the life of this world, they try to buy the life of this world with all their might, they attach themselves to the world and forget about the Hereafter and do not even think about it, and they even go further and mock about Allah and the Hereafter, they have no share in the Hereafter. The curse of Allah is on the people who will go to the Hereafter in this state.

What is said in the video

No, even we don't know. We cannot know even a moment ahead.

We have come to verse 19 of Surah Hud.

They are the ones who turn people away from Allah's path and want to make it look crooked. And they are the ones who deny the hereafter. Who are these?

When it says 'they': non-Muslim people. And also, among the non-Muslims, their people who have a say — that is, to put it more plainly, two-legged taghuts. These. People who, to keep others from the path to Allah, would even make Satan wear his shoes backwards.

People who, twisting their tongues this way, want to make the religion of Islam look contemptible and want to turn people from the path of truth.

These people, that is, those unjust to their own selves, who deny Allah and the hereafter — such people, aiming to wrong others besides themselves too, are people who strive to lead them away from Allah's path. Just as they wrong their own selves, they are people who, to wrong other people's selves too, to separate them from the path of truth, strive — and these, in Allah's sight, also of those people, the ones who suffered that wrong, whom they turned from the truth, the people they wronged, take on a part of their sins. A part, not all. Because they turned them from the truth, because they hindered them, Allah Almighty — to these, for what they earned, with their nafs-driven feelings opposing Allah and turning people from the right path — they also incur sin on that account.

Also, by trying to make Allah's path look crooked, with the actions they devise in their own minds, reviving anarchy, they sow discord among people.

People who match verse 11 of Surah Al-Baqarah: when they are told 'Do not cause corruption on earth', 'We are only reformers', they say. And in verse 12 of the same surah: know that they are the corrupters themselves, but they do not realize it. They have no awareness; they do not know what they do. These people do not recognize Allah, the Book or the Prophet; they follow what their nafs likes; greedy and eager for worldly wealth, chasing lust, not caring about others' honor and dignity, knowing life to be the life of this world, trying with all their might to buy the life of this world, tying themselves to the world and, forgetting the hereafter, not even bringing it to mind, and, going even further, mocking Allah and the hereafter — such people have no share in the hereafter.

Allah's curse rests on the people who will go to the hereafter in this state.
