Translation

Verily, they are the ones who suffer the greatest loss in the hereafter.

Tafsir

The people who will suffer the greatest loss in the Hereafter, that is, the people of eternal hell whose sins will accumulate and their torment will increase, are the idolaters, those who associate partners with Allah, those who worship what their hands have made or, like Pharaoh, those who worship people as gods, those who turn people away from the path of Allah, those who forget Allah in pride and arrogance, those who forget Allah by boasting of the blessings He has given them. Those who have such traits are the ones who suffer the most loss. Those who accumulate their sins and suffer torment in proportion.

What is said in the video

Hud Surah, its 22nd verse is where we have come. The people who will suffer the greatest loss in the Hereafter. That is, those whose sins are added up and whose punishment increases, the eternal people of Hell.

Just as attributes add up and one rises according to the levels of Paradise, their sins, the sins they committed, will likewise be added up. It is not increased manifold, pay attention. Increasing manifold means something else.

If he has three sins, I mean all added up, let's say here he earned three sins, there five sins, here seven sins, there ten sins. What does it all come to? A hundred sins added up. These were added up. This is addition. A hundred sins. What is their recompense? Let's say, being punished in the third Hell. Or being punished in the fourth level of Hell. Anyway. ‘He increased it manifold’ means, on top of the added-up sins, putting one more layer and another layer — that is what it means. I don't know if we understand each other here now? Now it is probably understood better. Yes. So being increased manifold is one thing; the sins being added up, and for their sins, for the sins they earned with their own hands, receiving the punishment in return, is another.

We repeat this part. The people who will suffer the greatest loss in the Hereafter, that is, those whose sins are added up and whose punishment increases, the eternal people of Hell, are the idolaters. These are those who associate partners with Allah. Those who worship what they made with their hands, or who take people as gods like Pharaoh, who worship people, who leave the way of Allah and turn people away from the ways of Allah, who, in arrogance and pride, make class distinctions among people, who boast of the blessings Allah gave and forget Allah. Those who have such traits are the ones who suffer the greatest loss, who have their sins added up and receive punishment in that proportion.
