Translation

They said; “Oh Noah! You have struggled with us and you went too far with your struggle. If you are among the truthful ones, bring to us (the punishment) that you have been threatening us with.”

Tafsir

The people of Hadrat Noah 'alaihis-salâm' were also arrogant and arrogant towards Hadrat Noah and they looked down on Hadrat Noah 'alaihis-salâm' and said: O Noah, you have struggled with us and you have gone too far in your struggle against us. They said, 'If you are one of the truthful ones, that is, if you are a Prophet as you say, and if your Allah will destroy us if we do not believe, then go ahead and let Allah bring the punishment you say.

People who disbelieve, those who do not recognize Allah and His Prophet, those who do not believe in the Hereafter, are all of the same nature and thought. However, if only they would use their minds, people would see the truth and be saved.

And the punishment that Allah wills for this people is in His knowledge. Allah knows better when they will be destroyed. For Allah knows the unseen. Allah is the Wise. Allah, the Owner of the worlds, knows when and where He will destroy and where He will create and bring to life.

What is said in the video

This time Noah's people give Noah an answer. It says, they said: O Noah, you have disputed with us and you have gone very far in disputing with us. Yes, indeed, the polytheists, the enemies of religion, people who recognise no law, who place no value on human rights and justice, such people, within their own mindset, talk at random, within their selfish feelings and desires; we live through this even in our own time. Yes. Like these Gezi Park events: if these people had understood law, human rights and public service, they would not have betrayed their homeland from within or damaged this public service.

If these had been people living the religion of Islam, could they have done this? Can you see a single (?) among them?

Please, just take a look at those events in Gezi Park. Can you see a single (?)? Or can you see a person who believes in Allah? Maybe one got in among them by mistake. Maybe. (?) a few, one says. But all of them, within a certain mindset, are traitors to the homeland. Traitors. Whoever damages public service, I call a traitor to the homeland. These are traitors to the homeland. Deceived,

(?), become the plaything of the enemy, a person who betrays his homeland for a few pennies: can their talk, their perceptions be given any value? In the same way, the idolaters say the same thing to Noah. They have set themselves against the truth and talk. What does it say? O Noah, you have disputed with us and gone very far in disputing with us. If you are of the truthful, bring us the punishment you threaten us with, it says. They always ask for punishment. Take note. All peoples always say the same thing to their prophets. If what you threaten us with (?), bring us the punishment. Even though the people of Lot, the people of Thamud, the people of Ad, the people of Pharaoh were destroyed, those who came one after another all say: bring us punishment, bring us punishment, bring us punishment.

These too, to Noah; though those were the ones after Noah, this one, from before them, asks for punishment too anyway. They too simply follow the way of their forefathers. If you are of the truthful, bring us the punishment you threaten us with, it says, and it does not take long: that punishment comes upon them, and that flood, remembered as Noah's flood, leaves the world under water. Not a single living being remains; everything in the world is destroyed. Except the pairs Noah took into the ark, those living beings. Yes, the people of Noah (peace be upon him), in greatness and arrogance towards Noah too, belittling Noah (peace be upon him), said, that is: you have disputed with us and gone very far in disputing with us.

If you are of the truthful, that is, if you are a prophet as you say, and if your Allah will destroy us should we not believe, don't wait. Let your Allah bring that punishment you speak of right away, they said.

So it is with people who deny, who recognise neither Allah nor prophet,

who do not believe in the hereafter: they are all of the same nature and thinking. Yet if they used their reason even a little, people would see the truth and attain salvation. The punishment this people asked for is within Allah's knowledge. Allah knows best when they will be destroyed. For Allah knows the unseen. The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. For Allah has programmed these worlds until the Day of Judgement. Within that program He knows what will happen, second by second.

Yet if they used their reason even a little, people would see the truth and attain salvation. So what does 'if they used their reason a little' mean? If we take a look at this universe, the universe.

First of all, our world's (?) system, as we call it: the sun, the moon and the earth, while turning around one another's axes, produce night and day, and by turning around the sun the seasons and the years. Surely, since this earth, moon and sun have no life or soul, they did not set themselves up in such an order out of nothing. Never mind going to the other side of the world; if we turn to ourselves, to ourselves.

We are created with such a design, created with such knowledge, that a person's senses, the eye a camera, (?) machines take and give instantly, yet they cannot work as fast as the eye.

The nose, the sense of smell; the ears a hearing device, within frequencies. Our ear does not hear every sound; those outside the same frequency it does not hear. For example, they say there is a bat in Spain. If people heard the cry these bats make, pregnant women would lose their babies. Heart patients would die of heart failure, it says. Yes. So the ears are a frequency. And the heart, a wound-up pump. The heart: think of a wind-up clock. When that wind-up clock runs down, what does it do? The clock stops. Likewise the heart is wound up until a certain time. The giving of a pump. That is, the giving of a life to it.

Until a certain time. It will pump that blood to the person. The brain, the brain's command over memory. The brain. And death comes not with the heart stopping but with the brain resetting itself. Why? The brain resets itself.

If the brain did not reset itself, they would do brain transplants too. Ahmet would become Mehmet, Mehmet would become Hasan. So Allah Almighty created the brain in such a way that, (?), just as all the photos taken by a camera are burnt when it sees the sun, so in death the brain resets itself. It's over. If you were to do a brain transplant, it would be as if you raised that child from zero, that is, that man, that grown man, understands nothing, recognises nothing. So the brain is of no use for anything. This order that Allah set up, by itself? There is no Allah, and these came about? The cells in a person's genes, the DNA: these chains, which appear when magnified millions of times under a microscope, did they come about by chance?

So if we use our reason a little, we have such a Creator, an Owner. And that Creator did not leave you to roam the world aimlessly. But man, within his own free will, within a freedom in which no one will (?) him or interfere with him, steers himself in the direction of his nafs. If he thinks a little, he realises that there is a great yoke on his neck. What is it? That he was created by his Lord, that he was sent into the world to prove what kind of person he is. The responsibilities laid on him: what is this responsibility? Instead of thanking the One who feeds him and gives him drink within the being he was created in, and worshipping Him, he turns his back on Him or acts against Him; and so, by taking on, within his selfish feelings, things like fame, renown, pride and arrogance, he shows grandeur against the attribute of grandeur of Allah Almighty, unaware that this leads him to destruction.

In that case, if people, within their own will, used their reason, they would surrender to Allah. They would accept Allah's sharia ruling over people, and that sharia ruling gives a person life. It gives life. What does the sharia ruling say? Be patient, it says. Be forgiving towards people, it says. Be forgiving. Love people for Allah's sake, it says. For Allah's sake. But not all people. not all people. Muslims are the brothers of Muslims. And for other people too, for them too, it says, as a servant of Allah, ask for guidance, it says. Ask for guidance. See, for them too, with feelings of mercy, as they are servants of Allah, so that they attain Allah's mercy, for them, it says, since you do not know, ask for guidance, it says. Being kind and merciful to Allah's creatures, being far from egos like pride, arrogance, fame and renown gives a person life, makes a person gentle, and people regard that person as trustworthy among them. So Allah is present and watching everywhere, at every moment; He is hidden from the visible eyes, that is, the unseen eyes cannot see Him.

Can the other eyes see Him? Even if it does not see Him with these eyes, it senses His existence. Sensing His existence is just like having seen Him. For example, say your brother is staying in a room. You came here from beside your brother, from beside him. Because you do not see him in that room, that room, you sense that he is there. So in those seeing eyes, although He is not seen with these eyes in the unseen world, one senses Allah's existence even more strongly than that. Especially when one is granted what we call manifestation in the heart, He manifests Himself directly within His attributes too.

So man will use his reason in the world, be a servant to Allah and a member of His Beloved's community. Rather than getting lost in the pleasures and the swamp of this passing world and vanishing, however much torment and suffering this world brings, he loses it in his own breast; if he lets himself be governed by Allah's knowledge or by the sharia ruling the Holy Quran sent us, then within that peace of heart, even if he lives in want in the world, (?) (?) praised, when he passes on to the hereafter in that peace, he goes among the rich of the eternal abode of bliss.

So do not be deceived by the passing world. This swamp pulls you in such a way that it looks rosy to you, and it drowns you in that swamp; you are lost and gone. You know the tree they call zaqqum; how they love that zaqqum tree. Yet the zaqqum tree (?) in the middle of Hell. Its fruit, it says, is (?), it is like the heads of devils, it says. Like the heads of devils. The more they eat it, it says, they will be hungry; the more they eat, it says, in those people's bellies, it says, in a way that (?) their intestines, it says, (?), with a pain, a stomach ache, it will leave you (?) a punishment in the hereafter.

In the hereafter it will make you thirsty, it says, thirsty. Instead, it says, they will be given hot water to drink, and pus mixed into it, it says. Now, will you be able to bear this punishment? So you must turn back to the One who created you. You must surrender to Him; even with this world's torments, so that you may own the abode of bliss of the hereafter, in this world you will be a servant to Allah Almighty and a member of His Beloved's community, so that you find the truth. Yes, the punishment this people asked for is within Allah. Allah knows best when they will be destroyed. For Allah knows the unseen.

Allah is All-Wise, and when and where He will destroy, and what He will create where and bring to life, Allah, the Owner of the worlds, knows.
