Hud 37: “Build the ship in front of Our eyes and according to Our revelations and do not say anything to Me about the oppressors. They will certainly drown.”

Translation

“Build the ship in front of Our eyes and according to Our revelations and do not say anything to Me about the oppressors. They will certainly drown.”

Tafsir

The fact that he told them to build the ark on our revelation in front of our eyes, in front of the eyes of those who believe in God and those who do not believe in God, in front of the eyes of those who believe in God and those who do not believe in God, that the coming calamity, the flood, was inevitable. Although Hazrat Noah built the ark, they still did not believe in Hazrat Noah. They saw Hadrat Noah 'alaihis-salâm' among the liars.

Such people are blindsighted, blind in their eyes and deaf in their ears. In appearance they are in human form. In appearance they are like animals. Allah (swt) says about them in His Verse: "They are like the animals that roam the earth".

Allah's command was fulfilled upon them. With the exception of those who followed Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him), all of them were among those who drowned and incurred the wrath of Allah. Allah (swt) says in His verse, "Do not say anything about the wrongdoers, they will surely drown"; Allah (swt) informs His Prophet that they have neither a helper nor a savior and says, "Do not say anything to me about them". That is, do not pity them and pray to me for their forgiveness. Because they disbelieved in me before. Therefore, there is no one among them who will return to the truth. They are a people cruel to their own souls.

What is said in the video

Surah Hud, verse 37, yes, now I am laughing a little, I am laughing, events that these (?) cannot imagine will (?) in the verse. That is why, you know, they say Allah resembles nothing. They say, like nothing, He is free from form, you know. If He is free from form, what will He resemble, what will I see? If He is free from form. We will see something, and it will have a form. Free from form, they say. Whereas He is free from a fixed form. For example, they remove the word 'fixed'. (?) from form. They keep trying to make a one-winged bird fly like this. Well, can a one-winged bird fly? Yes. Sir, in the, um, they say, for example, judgment belongs to Allah alone.

They quote the verses only by halves. Whereas on that day judgment belongs to Allah alone. On that day, that is, at the Great Court. Today the judgment is mine. With my partial will, by the judgments I have made, reward and sin I will earn. Yes.

Now here I am laughing, I mean at these (?) — the verse puts it beautifully. Build the ship before Our eyes and in line with Our revelation, Our command, and do not speak to Me about those who do wrong. They will surely be drowned. Now what does it say here? Before Our eyes.

Allah Almighty says in His verse too: do they have eyes that see?

Do they have tongues that speak? Do they have hands that hold? Do they have feet that walk?

How beautifully He describes His own Being. That is, of man, to whom He gave a part from His (?), man — you know, do they have ears that hear? What do they have, He says. There, how beautifully He describes man. Just as He describes man, He describes His own Being. Because He gave to man from His (?). And He willed that His Being be known through man. So He also sent His word to man and made man the one He addresses.

These things must be understood well. must be known well.

Allah Almighty is not free from form. He is free from a fixed form. In a fixed form. That is, He says, however you see Me, I am a (?) of this, a (?) of that, and a (?) of that too. In that case Allah Almighty changes form. Constantly. If a jinni, created from a light, constantly changes its appearance, changes its form, then since Allah Almighty is the universal spirit, He too, within His own power, changes form.

He manifests Himself to people in various attributes. Yes.

Before Our eyes and in line with Our revelation, Our command, He says. Build the ship in line with Our revelation, Our command, and do not speak to Me about the one who does wrong. They will surely be drowned. That is, man, oh man, no matter how merciful he may be, since reason is lacking, compared with the universal, like a complete mathematical problem (?), flawlessly, flawlessly, to the end, even though he knows, because he is in helplessness, helplessness, from Allah Almighty he wants to make a plea, and now (?).

Because Allah Almighty, as I said, mathematically, as a problem, with (?) lacking nothing, is already completely glorious. There is no deficiency at all. You will not find even an atom's weight. An atom, an atom's weight. If there were a deficiency even in one atom, its consequence would follow through causes. We create what We create perfectly, He says. In this case He informs Noah (peace be upon him) of the situation. His saying 'build the ship before Our eyes, by Our revelation' means: before the eyes of those who believe in Allah and those who do not. His telling Noah to build this ship in plain sight of them, the flood Allah had told Noah would come, means that the coming calamity, the flood, is inevitable.

Since He has said this will happen, He describes it to Noah (peace be upon him). 'By Our command' means: build the ship in the way I will describe to you. Even though Noah built the ship, they still did not believe Noah; they counted Noah (peace be upon him) among the liars. That is, while Noah (peace be upon him) was building the ship, they were mocking Noah. What are you doing? What is this you are making? — so they mocked Noah. The insight of such people is closed, their eyes are blind and their ears deaf.

In appearance they are in human form. In character they are like animals. Yes. In appearance human, in form human, but in character an animal.

Well, how can you call a human an animal, Hodja? I am not saying it. I am repeating what Allah says. Man is human by the deeds he does. By some deeds he is baser than an animal, He says. That is one. They are like four-legged creatures roaming the earth, He says. They are like four-legged creatures. So was it I who called them animals? I repeated Allah's word. Yes.

In character they are like animals. Allah Almighty declares about them in His verse: they are like animals roaming the earth.

Allah's command has come true upon them. That is, Allah Almighty grants them a long time. From father to son, from son to son, from son to son. Now those with a (?) spirit, at a certain point, those who will go that way. Then they will be honoured with the light of Islam. Coming from them, they too will again live Islam, and to the hereafter when the time comes for those from their loins who will go as unbelievers, this is a program, a program of Allah Almighty. What does He do? The time has come. (?) all of them. Allah's command has come true upon them. That is, now they, as non-Muslims, that is, as unbelievers, will pass into the hereafter as people of eternal Hell.

Allah's command is being fulfilled. Because they are not going to mend their ways either. Because the verse above says so. What does it say? Let us look at the verse above.

Yes. So do not grieve over the sins they seek, He says; none of your people except those who have believed will ever believe in you anymore, He says. How beautifully it says it. It was revealed to Noah that none of your people except those who have believed will ever believe in you anymore. Allah Almighty knows this, because in the address 'Am I not your Lord?' (Elestü bi-Rabbiküm), when they made the covenant, He wrote the aims of their wishes and desires as destiny for them, for them. Now when we say these things this way, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 52, deliberately, deliberately, this man is a fatalist, they say.

The reason: so that this passage is not recalled. Fatalism is not that. Fatalism is not this. What is fatalism? People do not even know what fatalism is. That is, a person says: Allah wrote my destiny like this. I am what I am. That is, it is what it is. That is, he loads even what he himself will do onto Allah. That is what they call a fatalist. A fatalist. This man is heading into fatalism. Whereas whatever aim one has, by partial will, by wish and desire, its being given to him by Allah (?), and its becoming a destiny for him, and a person's earning reward and sin for the acts he has brought about by his own doing — you cannot pin that on fatalism.

It is the complete opposite. 180 degrees opposite to each other. One ties it to Allah. He wanted it this way, He did this to me. This is now the destiny He wrote for me. The other is having oneself programmed by one's own will. These are completely opposite to each other. And this man removes the will and assigns it to the universal. Or when he says it takes it from the universal and ties it to the will, the words contradict each other, you see. Whereas how beautifully the universal and the (?) agree with each other. Everything is clear. To cover these passages, to give Allah attributes, attributes, they covered them up. And by tying this to fatalism, by frightening people this way, these verses they have smothered in ash.

So then Allah, when He wills, will put into Paradise, when He wills, into Hell He will put. Allah will increase the kufr in the heart of whomever He wills. Allah will increase the rebellion of some people. Can Allah be like that?

Can Allah be like that?

A father, being a father, does not want to discriminate among his children. However bad they may be, he wants them to come to what is right; would Allah ever, among those He created, discriminate like this?

Sir, it comes in the translation too. If it were a footnote, as we say, he says, I would gladly give my life. A footnote. Well then, is it the translation, or what is the footnote? The two are completely 180 degrees opposite to each other. Well, Arabic grammar comes out like this.

Even if it is against the rule, he says. Look, pay close attention. Even if it is against the rule, Arabic grammar comes out like this, he says. Yes. Even if against the rule. That is, leave Allah's verse there, he says. Do it like this according to Arabic (?), he says. Astonishing. My mind cannot take it in. I don't know whether yours can?

The insight of such people is closed, their eyes are blind and their ears deaf. In appearance they are in human form. In character they are like animals. Allah Almighty declares about them in His verse: they are like animals roaming the earth. Yes.

Allah's command has come true upon them. That is, that command has now been issued. That is, the flood will come. The flood will come. They will go to the hereafter (?). They will go having bought the abode of eternal Hell. Apart from those who followed Noah (peace be upon him), all of them without exception were among the drowned and among those who incurred Allah's wrath. Allah Almighty in His verse: do not speak about those who do wrong. They will surely be drowned. His saying this — since they have neither a helper nor a saviour, that they have none — Allah Almighty, informing His prophet, said: do not speak to Me about them. That is, out of pity for them, do not pray to Me for their forgiveness.

Because they denied Me before as well. Therefore there is no one among them who will turn to the truth. They are a people who wrong their own selves. I fulfil what those I love say, says Allah Almighty. But those I love must also know My laws, He says. In what they say they must know My laws. If I love you and do what you say, and you love Me too, then you are obliged to fulfil My laws. Of Me, in any way, injustice, lawlessness, unfairness, or (?) about it, words that would make statements contradict each other — for these do not ask anything of Me, says Allah Almighty. Yes. So even if it were my father, my father, my father even so — Allah protect us — I know he passed on as a Muslim. Because I saw him in certain spiritual states.

Yes. Even if it were my father, if he passed on as an unbeliever, I would never ask Allah for guidance for him. (?) Abraham would have asked for his father. Yes. Allah protect us. Even if I passed on as an unbeliever and my son were in the station of intercession, so that my son would never go against Allah's command, I would never consent to his interceding for me. Eternal Hell. Allah protect us. That is why one must hold firmly to Allah's command. Firmly. One must never part from Allah's command. Because apart from Him we have no owner, nor anywhere to go, nor any other branch to hold on to.
