The ship was carrying them amid waves as large as mountains. Noah called upon his son who was far from the ship; “My dear son, come on board with us, do not be with the blasphemers!”
Tafsir
When the flood was decreed by Allah (swt) and the waters of the earth boiled and the ship rose like mountains with the floods slowly coming, Noah called out to his son and said, "My son, get on the ship with us, and do not be with the disbelievers who will be drowned.
Now the inevitable has come to pass, the calamity has come upon these people, and Allah's righteous command has been fulfilled. And there is no power that can stop this calamity except Allah. And if Allah's intention is to destroy those who rebel against Him with water, there is no one who can prevent it. Allah gives people various calamities so that generations to come may learn from them.
The other sons of Noah boarded the ark. These are Ham, Sam and Yafes. These were people who believed in their father. Yafes had a son named Turk, and according to rumors, Turks are descended from this son of Yafes named Turk.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 42 of Surah Hud.
The ship carried them amid waves like mountains. Of course waves like mountains will carry it. As I said yesterday, it will be exposed to a current. A current. The world is not a flat tray, after all. Since it is round, the waters are boiling up as well. What will the floods coming down from above do? They will take it and carry it away. Noah, in the ship, called to his son who was far away: My dear son, board with us too. Do not be with the disbelievers.
With the flood sent by Allah Almighty and the waters boiling up from the earth, as the ship slowly, with the slowly coming floods, rose like mountains, he called to his son: My dear son, board the ship with us too. Do not be with those left behind, that is, the disbelievers who will drown, he said. Yes.
Now the inevitable end has appeared. Calamity has befallen these people. Allah's true command has been fulfilled. Now, for this calamity, there is no power other than Allah that could stop it. Since the command has come from Allah Almighty, He is not going to stop it. In this situation, Allah Almighty, to those He loves, does not fall short in help. To those He loves, and to those who transgress, He gives the lesson they need. And He leaves a fine lesson for the generations to come.
And if Allah's will is to destroy with water those who rebel against Him, then there is no one who can stand in its way. Allah gives people various calamities so that the generations to come take lessons from them. The other sons of Noah boarded the ship. They are Ham, Shem and Japheth. They are people who believed in their father. Japheth had a son named Turk. According to narrations, the Turks, from this son of Japheth named Turk, are descended. These are narrations, of course.
Noah's son, who did not board the ship, answers his father. His son said: I will take refuge on a mountain that will protect me from the water. Noah: Today there is no one to protect from Allah's command, from His punishment, except Allah, the Possessor of mercy, he said, and a wave came between them. And so he too was among the drowned. Yes.
Instead of taking refuge in Allah, Noah's son, because he did not believe in Allah, said: I will take refuge on a high mountain that will protect me. Here a very precious thing comes to light. Very precious. There is no being more precious than it. Here. What is that precious being? Reason. There is no being more precious than reason. You win the world with your reason. Except for the calamities that befall you. You govern yourself with your reason. You find the truth with your reason. If you follow your nafs, your nafs, you will have turned your back on that reason. Because the nafs (?), reason was created as the knower of truth.
The nafs, however, was created in rebellion against the truth. So here, instead of taking refuge in the truth that his reason shows, man tries to take refuge in the mountain that his nafs points out to him. Because the nafs does not want to accept any word that comes from the truth. It bears a grudge against it. Because its covenant is so. Its will is so. That will has been written for it as its destiny. Yes. Look. (?) now, how fine. That he did not use his reason. Noah's son
