Allah said; “Oh Noah! Verily, he is not from your family. (This is) because what he did was a bad deed. So, do not ask Me for something that you do not possess knowledge about. I advise you to not be among the ignorant ones.”
Tafsir
When Allah (swt) says to the son of Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) who went away as a disbeliever that he is not from your family, it does not mean that he did not come from the descendants of Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him). He brings the soul of a disbeliever, who rebelled against Allah in the first world (Kalubelâ), who will come and go in the world in accordance with his covenant, even though he was the natural son of Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him), from the offspring of a Prophet, and raises him in the presence of a Prophet by giving him a body.
Since everything will return to its origin, the child, when he comes of age, or the human being, by his own will and desire, after a time, even if he is with the Prophet and comes from his lineage, will return to the covenant he had written down for himself in the past (in Kalubelâ) and live in this world as a rebel and finally go away as a disbeliever.
Allah, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted. Allah creates such events so that it will not be said that this man has not been brought up in Islam, what is his fault?
The son of Hadrat Noah 'alaihis-salâm' grew up with the Prophet and was brought up in Islam. In the end, he turned back to his original religion and left as a disbeliever. Do we not see or hear that people who were not brought up in Islam, who grew up in churches or synagogues, also became Muslims? Everything ended in that covenant (in Kalubelâ). Destinies were written. No human being will have any questions or queries to ask Allah (swt).
(Because what he did was an evil deed.) The son of Noah rebelled against Allah. He did not recognize Him and he betrayed Him before and he was one of the rebels. (So do not ask me for something of which you have no knowledge. I advise you not to be among the ignorant) In His verse, He said, "Do not ask Me for what you do not know, for everything was written and programmed in the past, and in the past a word came from Him, and He created heaven and hell, and Allah (swt) will never change these programs again. Then you will be among the ignorant. In other words, do not rebel against me out of love for your children and against my attribute of justice, and you will be among the ignorant.
Many Ashab Sahaba-i Kiram, father and son fought against each other in the early years of Islam. May Allah give us a good realization and understanding. May he be annexed to the servants of Allah's guidance.
What is said in the video
He is not of your family, says Allah Almighty. Allah said: O Noah, he is by no means of your family, it says. Yes, he is by no means of your family. Because what he did is an evil deed. So do not ask of Me something of which you have no knowledge. I advise you not to be among the ignorant, He said. Yes, exactly. When Abraham too told his father, I will pray to Allah for you, Allah Almighty likewise, to Abraham (peace be upon him): he, however much (?) (?), he was not of you. That is, he was among the disbelievers. He was among those who deny Me — His saying this. Here too: he is by no means of your family.
That is, although he came from your loins, he had a rebellious spirit, and was among those who gave their destiny as rebels against Allah, says Allah Almighty. When Allah Almighty said of the son of Noah (peace be upon him), who departed as a disbeliever, he is not of your family, Noah (peace be upon him) too has some doubts come to his mind. Doubts. For Allah does not speak incompletely. Since He would not speak incompletely, when He says he is not of your family either, doubt arises in his heart. That is, as if: did my wife have him from someone else? Such a doubt arises in his heart. And we will explain this doubt in the next verse.
Yes. of his offspring — when Allah Almighty said he is not of your family, it does not mean he did not come from the offspring of Noah (peace be upon him). Although he was the very own son of Noah (peace be upon him), born of him, the soul of a disbeliever who was rebellious to Allah (?) at Qalu Bala, and who will come into the world and depart according to that covenant, He can bring into a prophet's loins, give it a body, give him a body, and so raise him even beside a prophet, Allah Almighty. Since everything will return to its origin, when the child reaches the age of reason, or a person, by his own reason and will, even if after a time he is beside a prophet and even if he comes from his loins, returning, (?) at Qalu Bala, to the mind he had written for himself, he lives in this world as a rebel and finally departs as a disbeliever.
So Allah, who is free of any deficient attribute, the questions that would come to people's minds, the queries, to remove them — say, a person was born in America or Germany or France, that is, in a non-Islamic (?), and this person followed that place's tradition, its customs. This man received no Islamic upbringing, what is his fault — so that this is not said, Allah thus creates events. So the son of Noah (peace be upon him) grew up beside a prophet and received an Islamic upbringing. In the end, returning to his origin, he departed as a disbeliever. Do we not see or hear of people who never had an Islamic upbringing, who in churches or synagogues grew up, also becoming Muslims?
So everything was settled at Qalu Bala, in that covenant. Destinies were written. And Allah, who is free of any deficient attribute, in the visible world, all the questions that would come to people's minds He brings about by creating events. No person will have any question left to ask (?), no question at all. Because what he did is an evil deed. Noah's son rebelled against Allah. He did not acknowledge Him and betrayed Him in the beginning too. He opposed and became one of the rebels. In this respect he committed an evil deed. So do not ask of Me something, something of which you have no knowledge.
In the verse: I advise you not to be among the ignorant. That everything was written and programmed at the beginning, that at the beginning a word came forth from him too, that He created Paradise and Hell, and that Allah Almighty will no longer change these programs — wanting to make this known, He said: what you do not know, of Me do not ask. Otherwise you will be among the ignorant. That is: do not oppose My attribute of justice before Me out of love for your child, do not rebel against Me, or you too will be among the ignorant, He has said. Many Companions, the noble Sahaba, in the first years of Islam, father and son, fought against each other. May Allah give us good perception and understanding.
May He join us to His servants who have attained His guidance. Yes.
