Hud 50: And to the nation of A’ad, We have sent their brother Hud. He said; “Oh my people! Worship Allah. You don’t have any deities other than Allah. You are nothing but (people) who make up lies.”

50. We have come to the verse. To 'Ad, people, too, We sent their brother Hud, the prophet Hud. He said: O my people, serve Allah. You have no god other than Him. you are nothing but those who invent lies. Those who invent lies. Yes. In our course today, just like the address of Hud, peace be upon him, to his people, or of Salih, peace be upon him, to his people. Like his address. Like what? We have no god other than Allah. That is how we call out to people. Surely every soul will taste death. (?), we say. So, O people, following the desires of the nafs, let not Satan strip you stark naked; following this verse, Do not follow Satan's path and be stripped stark naked.

Do not follow Satan's footsteps. Do not oppose Allah with the desires of your nafs. Today, do not display yourselves stark naked in your dress and attire. We have no door to go to other than Allah, and no door of mercy other than His mercy either. Yes. So in this transient worldly life, if you (?) the desires of the nafs, go after them, strip stark naked, and against Allah's command rebel and are deceived by the few hours' life of this transient world, tomorrow, when you see the punishment at the supreme court, your regret will be of no use. To the people of 'Ad too We sent their brother Hud, Hud, it says.

He said: O my people, serve Allah. You have no god other than Him. You are nothing but those who invent lies. That is, you are slandering Allah. You worship idols, what you made with your hands. Though you have no proof in your hands, you invent lies about Allah. In this case you are liars, says Hud, peace be upon him. Today people, too, (?). And, saying it is (?) tomorrow, they worship their beetle or what they made with their hands. Today, among those who run to (?), to hodjas, who have magic done, I mean, those who have magic done are countless. Such people have lost their way, far from Allah; to fulfil their worldly desires, there is no filth they do not commit, no intrigue they do not plot.

Is this a human being? Is this Allah creating us as the noblest of creatures and honouring us above the worlds?

Yes.

Sometimes one cannot find words to explain.

After Noah, peace be upon him, people again (?). Not believing in Allah and the hereafter, the objects they made and shaped with their hands began to be worshipped as gods.

Allah Almighty: We hold no one accountable for what We have not made known. According to this verse, to them He sent their brother, that is, Hud from among themselves, peace be upon him, as a prophet to convey Allah's command. Hud, peace be upon him, addressed his people as Allah's messenger. O my people, serve Allah. We have no other god besides Allah. Allah is the One who subsists by His own Being. He is One. He has no partner and no likeness. You are associating partners with Allah. You are worshipping what you made with your hands. In this case you are wronging your own selves. And you are inventing lies against Allah.

I see you as liars. Saying you are nothing but those who invent lies about Allah, he warned his people. He invited his people to Allah and onto the straight path. Yes.

When Allah Almighty sends people to the world, closing the hereafter realm to them, since in the world they need a guide, a light, a leader, He sends them messengers, prophets. He invites to the Truth. And since their minds know the Lord, He shows them the paths of truth. Since He gave a mind to tell right from crooked, He has them invited onto the straight path by the prophets He sent to people.

But just let a person once give his covenant badly. Yes. that person will never again (?) to the right path.
