Translation

But those who don’t believe in the Hereafter, insists to go astray.

Tafsir

People who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter go astray as if they are competing with each other, even though they see so much of the truth, even though Allah (swt) makes His presence known to them publicly among the people of the world.

People's ego desires take pleasure in the life of the world. In the mire of the world, people are scheming to obtain it. The nafs is in pride and arrogance. An unbelieving nafs also has tulips around its neck. They cannot bow their necks, break their ego and obey Allah.

Even though these people see the truth, they are not on the side of Allah, but on the side of the nafs, the world and the devil, because their ego is flattered by the desire that Satan has given them. As Allah (swt) says in the verse, "your enemies and the enemies of Allah", our enemies are the nafs, the devil and the world. Against these three enemies, man has three friends. They are inspiration, faith and reason against Satan. Whichever one a person takes his place on the side of, he will be with him. In this respect, those who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter are enemies of Allah (swt), as they are on the side of Satan, the nafs and the world.

The justice sent by Allah and people living with honor and dignity is too much for these people. They prefer dark and swampy paths. Since the soul of a person who has not found faith prefers these swampy and dark paths, people who have not reformed their souls are rapidly drawn to these swamps and insist on committing atrocities against their souls, as if they were stones to each other.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mu'minun, we have come to verse 74. Those who do not believe in the hereafter persistently stray from the path, it says. True. Today, even if you strike the truth on the heads of those who do not believe in the hereafter with a sledgehammer, even if you hammer it into their heads with nails, they still go on their way. You cannot chain a person's thoughts.

A person may seem to worship you by force, out of fear. But with his mind, with his thinking, he has not believed. The first condition of a Muslim is to affirm with the tongue and believe with the heart. If he affirmed with his tongue but did not believe with his heart, these are hypocrites. Hypocrites. Yes.

People who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter, despite seeing so much truth, although Allah Almighty openly, outwardly makes these people feel His existence through manifestations among people, these people, as if competing with one another, stray from the path. The whims of people's nafs take pleasure in worldly life. People, in the swamp of this world, in order to obtain it, devise all kinds of intrigues. The nafs, however, is in pride and arrogance. On the neck of a nafs that has not believed there are iron collars (lale). These cannot bow their necks, break their nafs and obey Allah.

What are lale? They also occur in Surah Yasin.

They put collars on dogs, on sheepdogs, on shepherd dogs. And there are spikes on them. So that when a wolf attacks, it does not strangle the animal by the nape.

When it speaks of such collars in people too, since those spikes would pierce his neck, what is that spike? The whims of his nafs, his pride. He cannot bow his neck.

He cannot break his nafs and submit to Allah. There are iron collars on their necks. Look, such non-Muslims are in a pride, an arrogance. They are in a whim of egotism. Yes. Although these people see the truth, since the whim Satan gives these people flatters their nafs, they take their place not on Allah's side, but on the side of the nafs, the world and Satan. As Allah Almighty decrees in the verse "aduvvallâhi ve aduvveküm", when He says your enemies and the enemies of Allah, our enemies are the nafs, Satan and the world. Against these three enemies, a person also has three friends. Against Satan: inspiration, faith and reason.

Whichever one a person takes his place beside, he is with that one. Therefore, those who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter, since they have taken their place beside Satan, the nafs and the world, are hostile toward Allah Almighty as well.

Living by the justice Allah has sent, with people's honor and dignity, is hard on these people. They prefer dark and swampy paths. Since the nafs of a person who has not found faith prefers these swampy, dark paths, people who could not reform their nafs, as if trying to outdo one another, are rapidly drawn into these swamps and wrong their own nafs and persist in it, they say.
