They will say, “They belong to Allah”. Say, “How then are you enchanted?”
Tafsir
Again, in order to prevent these people from disbelieving, Allah (swt) says that they will say it is Allah's. So why are you bewitched? I mean, how can you deny Allah on purpose? Allah has not created a being more powerful than man in terms of will. In this respect, He has placed in man's hands his will. In this respect, He says that you are subject to your own ego and deny Allah on purpose. These people knowingly disbelieve in Allah and associate partners with Allah. They ascribe children to Allah. They do not hesitate to slander Allah. These are wrongdoers who do not fear Allah. Allah gives such people respite in the life of this world. He makes them witnesses around them and to Allah. In the end, these people pass on to the Hereafter as wrongdoers to their souls.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 89 of Surah Al-Mu'minun. All of these belong to Allah, they will say, He says. They will say: All of these belong to Allah. Then say: how are you being bewitched? That is, who is deceiving you? How are you bewitched, that Allah, who has such ownership, I mean, who creates, you deny? Allah Almighty, again, so that these people are kept from turning to denial: They will say: it belongs to Allah. That is, from their mouths He says it. They too know that there is a Creator. But out of stubbornness, if you asked them, perhaps they would, well, lie. So, to cover their lie, Allah Almighty answers in their place.
What does He say? They will say: it belongs to Allah. Saying this, He speaks the truth in place of these people. Then how are you being bewitched? That is, how can you deny Allah knowingly? In terms of will, Allah has not created a being more powerful than man. For this reason He has entrusted man with his partial will. You follow your own nafs and deny Allah knowingly, He declares. These people, knowingly denying Allah, associate partners with Allah. They attribute children to Allah. They do not shrink from inventing lies against Allah. These are wrongdoers who do not fear Allah. So Allah grants such people respite in the life of this world.
He makes them hold their surroundings and Allah as witnesses against themselves. In the end these people pass on to the Hereafter having wronged their own selves. Yes.
