Truly, We have brought to them the truth, but they are liars, indeed.
Tafsir
Allah has brought the truth to those who deny Allah and the Hereafter and are in the darkness of shirk. The truth is that Allah's Prophet and the Qur'an which He sent with the Prophet are the truth. But those who disbelieve in Allah have turned their backs on this truth.
Those who deny Allah and the Hereafter lie with their denial in the face of these facts. Therefore they are liars. Those who made a covenant with Allah (swt) at Kalu Bela and denied Allah (swt) there, even though they knew that they were created by Allah (swt), they are liars at the root.
What is said in the video
We had stopped at verse 90 of Surah Al-Mu'minun, he says. In the verse, Allah Almighty – look, how beautiful it is. All the verses are beautiful, but how beautifully it sets out the truths. What does He say? Verse 90 of Surah Al-Mu'minun: Indeed, We brought them the truth.
But they are truly liars, He says.
Where does this lying come from?
Let me see, Doğan, where does it come from? Elestü bi Rabbiküm? Kâlû belâ. Yes, mashallah. Elestü bi Rabbiküm? Kâlû belâ. Although Allah Almighty created our souls in the world of spirits, the realm of Lahut, when He said, I am your Lord – Elestü bi Rabbiküm – when He said, I am your Lord, they waited for the Lord of their imagination and turned their backs on Allah who created them and denied Him, so they are liars from the start. Lying unbelievers. Yes. That is why, pay attention: what they say one time does not match what they say another time. If you seek honor and might, honor and might are with Allah.
According to the verse, from those who turn their backs on the verses you cannot find this either. Nor will you find honor and might. Today events are unfolding before our eyes. Yes. To those who deny Allah and the Hereafter and those in the darkness of shirk Allah Almighty has brought the truth. What is the truth? The truth is the word of Allah. It is the Quran. With prophets, with books, Allah Almighty, as a mercy to the servants He created, in order to bring them to light, to bring them out of darkness into light, sent them the truth, that is, the prophets and the books. Yes. The truth is that Allah's Prophet and the Noble Quran He sent with His Prophet are true. But those who deny Allah have turned their backs on this truth.
So those who deny Allah and the Hereafter, in the face of these truths, with their denial are lying. For this reason they are liars. Those who made the covenant with Allah Almighty at Kâlû belâ and who, although they knew there that they had been created by one Allah, denied Allah there – these, in this respect, are liars at the root as well.
Why did they deny Allah?
Does a person deny Allah knowingly?
Why did he deny? Allah Almighty created man resembling His essence. He gave a part of His spirit. In no created being other than mankind is there a spirit. In this case mankind and
I created man in the most beautiful form, He says. Being created in the most beautiful form, and lehü'l-esmâü'l-hüsnâ, the most beautiful attributes are also Mine, He says. In this case He makes known that He gave people a part of His form. For this reason He creates man honored above the worlds. Above the worlds.
Non-Muslims who deny Allah, waiting for the Lord of their imagination – Allah Almighty, whom they saw with an essence and attributes like their own, they could not accept as Allah; they denied Him. So in this situation they, because they deny our Lord who created them, are liars, He says. That is where lying comes from. After that, that lying – where there is no honor and dignity in a person, what will the person do? To satisfy his own inferiority complex he will tell lie upon lie.
