Prevent the evil with the best possible manner. We know what they attribute to you.

Tafsir

With this verse, Allah (swt) informs people about moral virtue and shows it as an example. That is to say, when He says, "You ward off evil in the most beautiful way," the soul of an unreformed person, being in selfishness and pride, immediately shines in the face of a word that offends his soul. He speaks bad words and does ugly deeds. He gets into a fight and starts fighting. Do not increase the disbelief of such people whose ego is not reformed and who are in pride and arrogance. Treat them well and seek Allah's pleasure in your behavior. With your human virtues and moral beauty, be patient with people's evil.

Islam is a religion of virtue and good morals. Therefore, in the face of people's evil deeds, treat them the same and do not bear the burden of mistakes and sins like the other people.

Allah is well aware of what these people are ascribing. The meaning of the calumny in this verse is the slander of those who disbelieve in Allah among themselves, in order to provoke the Prophet or the Muslims to anger, and to provoke people to sedition and anger by means of traps they have prepared, and to put them in unjust situations.

So, protect your moral virtue against this sedition and the traps they have prepared. Maintain your calmness. Be forgiving of them so that the traps they have prepared will be ineffective for you. Do not be harmed by them.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 96 — to this pay attention: it is not something every person can do. Be in control of your nafs. Look what the verse says: Repel evil with the best manner. Whenever someone does evil to one of us, we will repel it in the best way. Since it is a verse, we will see the people opposite us as children. You will see a child whose nafs has not been reformed. And you, bound by Allah's verses, not stepping outside your Lord's command, with your nafs brought to perfection, mature, will try to bring him onto the right path.

As the Laz said: He hit me, he hit me; if he hadn't hit me, I wouldn't have hit him. He said to me, he said to me; if he hadn't said it to me, I wouldn't have said it to him, he says. Now, these are retaliation. We, beyond retaliation: reaching perfection over our carnal feelings, rising to the contented nafs, being a believer. A believer. Yes.

Repel evil with the best manner; We know very well what they attribute, it says. Yes.

With this verse Allah Almighty makes known to people morality and virtue and shows it as an example. Namely, His saying "repel evil in the best way": a person who has not been reformed, since his nafs is in egotism and pride, at a word that would offend his nafs flares up at once. He resorts to bad words and ugly deeds. He resorts to force and starts fighting. Such people, whose nafs is unreformed, who are in pride and arrogance — do not increase their kufr. Treat them well. In this conduct, seek Allah's pleasure. With your human virtue and moral beauty, in the face of people's evils, be patient.

The religion of Islam is a religion of virtue and good morals. In this respect, by treating people the same way in return for their evils, do not take on a load of error and sin like the people opposite you. Allah Almighty knows very well what these people attribute. What is meant by "attributing" in this verse is: those who deny Allah, among themselves, by angering the Prophet or the Muslims, with traps they have prepared, driving people to strife and anger, to make them fall into unjust situations — objections. Today we are living this, we are living this situation. So you, against their strife and the traps they prepare, keep your moral virtue, preserve your calm, toward them be forgiving, so that the traps they prepare leave you unaffected, and you suffer no harm from them.

Yes, how far? Until patience overflows. Everything has a patience, a measure. One must act within this measure.

When you help some people with moral virtue, when, to prevent their evils, you treat them with virtue — the one who belittles you, doesn't see you as a human being, tries to swindle you and tries to pile slanders on you, such a person must surely be put in his place.

In this situation someone says this: Know yourself, yourself; if you don't know yourself, they'll cook your neck. Yes.

When it comes to that, their necks get cooked. Isn't it so?

And say: My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils. From the incitements of the devils. Yes. Today, those who would put the devils to shame and whom the devils, fearing the torment those people will suffer, will run away from — two-legged taghuts (?) Today, the traps of the non-Muslim. If not plan A, then plan B; if not that, plan C; if not that, plan D. Trap upon trap, trap upon trap.

No shame either. No sense of honor either. Because he has neither shame nor (?).

In this situation, pouring out whatever filth he wants, though he knows full well that he is in the wrong, he grins and carries on in office. Allah Almighty warns people with His verses, and that by a prayer to be made against them they be protected, He commands. Namely: And say: My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils. The whispering the devils give people who deny Allah, and this whispering stirring up the human nafs, in people whose nafs has not found perfection and who have denied Allah, increases their hostility toward Islam. Out of nothing it sets people against each other.

Situations such as oppressed people being harmed and everything drowning in strife arise. So in such a situation, so that Muslims are not harmed, Allah Almighty makes known that they should be alert against these and seek refuge in Allah Almighty. Yes.
