Translation

“Our Lord! After we have found guidance, make our hearts firm, do not bend them. Give us mercy from You. Verily, You are Wahhab (Bestowing).

Tafsir

They beg their Lord, Our Lord, do not make our hearts crooked after we have been guided. If You had not shown us the truth, had not sent the Prophet and the Qur'an, how would we have found You and worshipped You with our minds? You have guided us with the Prophet and the Qur'an. You have shown us our shortcomings due to our nafs. Forgive us for our mistakes and do not make our hearts crooked. You are a sultan who is abundant in grace, abundant in bestowal, abundant in forgiveness, abundant in mercy. They say, 'O Allah, you are the Lord of the worlds.

O our Lord! You have no partner or associate. There is no other God except You. By sending us Your Holy Qur'an, You have enlightened our paths, taught us what to do, brought us out of darkness into light, and shown us the paths of guidance. O our Lord! Do not make our hearts crooked after we have seen Your right path. Do not leave us alone with our nafs, we are helpless and in need of You. Give us strength and power. Do not leave us alone, O Allah.

What is said in the video

as if it filled up. Surah Al-Imran, verse 8, is also one of the wrongly explained verses.

What does it say?

They pray like this:

Our Lord, after You have guided us to the right path, do not let our hearts deviate. Yes, grant us mercy from Your presence; the most abundant in grace are You. They pray like this: Our Lord, after we have attained guidance, strengthen our hearts, strengthen our hearts, do not let them deviate. What does it say? Let's read it once more. Our Lord, after we have attained guidance... Allah did not make you attain guidance. He only showed you the paths of guidance. If Allah had made you attain guidance, He would have made the disbeliever attain guidance too. Because he too was His creation. But whoever turns to Allah through what Allah has said, Allah grants him His nearness and His mercy.

This is the wrongly explained verse. What does it say? Our Lord, after You have guided us to the right path, do not let our hearts deviate. Yet He did not lead to the right path. Allah Almighty showed the right path. With what? With the Holy Quran. So, shall I lie here: lead me to the right path, my Allah, come on. Ah, may He take me so nicely and make me a waliyullah, one of the awliya. And I'll live as I please. Is there such a thing?

That would be Allah's injustice.

You will pass beyond the nafs al-ammara. You will be governed by worship of Allah. You will tear down the bad traits in your nafs.

Fasting, what shall I say, prayer; you will do all acts of worship abundantly, and after breaking the desires of your nafs, you will rise to the nafs al-mulhima, you will come to the door of karamat, and you will not look at those karamat either. What will you say? O my Lord, all these karamat too are a yearning to come to Your essence. Whereas people take him for a great saint. Allah protect us. Well, if here too he does not look at this, he becomes aware of the tajalliyat. If he does not look at that there either and goes further, he enters the door of ilm al-yaqin. That is the door of ilm al-yaqin He calls verrasühü.

In this case, did Allah raise him, or did the person's own effort raise him? I am asking now. Of course the person's own effort raised him.

The person strove with his own effort. Allah Almighty created causes before him. He offered the light of the Quran, the verses. With them, the person rose through his own effort. So they pray like this: Our Lord, after we have attained guidance, strengthen our hearts, do not let them deviate. Allah does not make them deviate anyway, Allah does not. Do not make yourself deviate, do not make yourself deviate. That is, do not distance yourself from your Lord; your Lord does not tell you, distance yourself from Me. Or rather Allah Almighty, as long as you turn to Him, does not, what shall I say, make your heart deviate.

Grant us mercy from Your presence; all right, grant it. Our Lord's grant is abundant. Surely You are the Bestower. We say. Yes.

You are the most abundant in grace. It makes no difference. Surely You are the Bestower. In this way, strengthening the verses more and more, seeing the shortcomings in the verses here, we will go on. What did it say? Our Lord, after You have guided us to the right path, do not let our hearts deviate. We, anyway, if Allah Almighty is going to lead us to the right path, in all these worlds the people He created, Allah created them all, they are Allah's servants; Allah between His servants makes no distinction. Impossible, impossible. My mercy is for everyone in the universe, He says. So if Allah discriminated between His servants, such an unjust Allah would emerge that I know no such Allah.

There is no such Allah. There is no Allah who discriminates between His servants. Rather, there are people who themselves deny Allah or are obedient, so that, without our Lord discriminating between His servants, according to whether people deny their Lord or not, by the decisions they make with their partial will, they deny Allah or obey Allah. So if man, by his own will, obeys his Lord's command and works, breaks the whims of his nafs, and seeks the ways of drawing near to his Lord and turns to his Lord, his Lord too makes him attain guidance. That is, He opens his kashf. Did you want to see Me? Here, He says to you.

He puts His light into his heart, and when, with the circulation of that light, the (?) come out, that place becomes a mirror, a mirror.

What more did you want to see?

I wanted His knowledge.

Below, the equivalent of the verse, He says. There is hell. There is the equivalent of this verse I spoke in hell. What is it? They, it says, when they are exposed to the fire, when after five or six seconds they are taken out of that fire, their skins are pitch black, it says. Then they crack like parched earth, it says. From beneath, a fresh new skin comes out. And I saw the equivalent of this verse myself. And by seeing, I wrote many verses all in that way. By being shown, by my Lord's showing. And finally by inspiration, and finally with the wisdom He gave my heart so that the verses confirm one another.

I said I am ummi. I say I have not memorized the Quran either. I say I have no Arabic either. None. But I look at the verse that comes after and see that I am writing just that. Look, read these. These are my Lord's wisdom. All the verses always confirm one another. Unlike the others, a few words, phrases that do not agree with each other on the same page, there are none in this. Yes, to the verse we come. They implore their Lord like this: Our Lord, us to guidance... after we have attained guidance, do not let our hearts deviate.

If You had not shown the truth, had not sent the Prophet and the Quran, how would we have found You with these minds of ours, and how would we have worshipped You? Yes. Now, some small word, that is letter errors, cause changes of meaning to come about. What I say already removes those errors, together with the verses. For example: They pray to their Lord like this. Our Lord, after You have made us attain guidance; look, one letter i: 'bizi', it says. Whereas: Our Lord, after we have attained guidance. What does one letter i change? In the words: 'after You have made us attain guidance' is our Lord doing the guiding; 'after we have attained guidance' means, that is, when we work and continue worshipping to fulfill Your command, when we attain Your mercy.

Look how much difference there is. Pay attention to small letter errors like this. If there are such, you can correct them from my talks anyway. If You had not shown the truth, had not sent the Prophet and the Quran, how would we, with these minds of ours, have found You, and how would we have worshipped You? Yes.

What does He say in a verse too?

The minds I have given you, you ought to have known Us. But to you, He says, Our mercy reached, He sends to the world, right? To you We sent prophets and books so that you would know Us.

So with the Prophet (peace be upon him) You sent and Your Holy Quran, You made us attain guidance. Guidance, Allah Almighty; of course he is the leader, with him we attained guidance. If not for him, (?) If I had no guide, how would I get across that city? How would I know where everything is? Forgive us the shortcomings we commit because of our nafs. Because we were created deficient, in intellect. Do not let our hearts deviate. You are abundant in grace, in kindness, in forgiveness, in mercy, a King. You are the Lord of the worlds, my Allah, they say. They implore Allah. O our Lord, You have no partner, no associate.

There is no other god besides You. By sending us Your Holy Quran You lit our paths, what we should do You taught us, You brought us out of darkness into light, You showed us the paths of guidance. O our Lord, now that we have seen Your right path, do not let our hearts deviate. Do not leave us alone with our nafs.

Yes. We, helpless, are in need of Your essence. Grant us strength and power. Do not leave us alone, my Allah, they say. They pray to Allah sincerely like this. Yes.
