Tafsir
These owners of piety, whom he says (they are patient), are the pious. They pay attention to halaal and haram. They do not hurt anyone's heart, they worship their Lord, these are the ones who surrender their existence to Allah, they do not fail to take precautions. They know that whatever is in providence comes from Allah and they are patient with all the calamities that come from Allah. They never complain to Allah. They know that Allah does not burden man with a burden that he cannot bear. They also know that whoever loves Allah (swt) the most, Allah (swt) will burden them with the most calamities. With the patience of these people of piety, Allah Ta'ala shows people these patient friends of Allah as examples. They know that the suffering here is temporary and the Hereafter is eternal. They patiently endure the afflictions they have suffered in this temporary time for the sake of Allah and build the Hereafter. (These people are loyal) They never compromise on the verses of Allah, the prophets, the Book, and all that comes from Allah. They do not neglect their worship. They appear as they are and become as they appear.
(They spend it for charity.) They know that they will not be able to take anything from their worldly wealth to the Hereafter, so they spend what is beyond their own needs on the servants of Allah. They know that when they give to the needy servants of Allah, they will be rewarded with a treasure both here and in the Hereafter, for Allah is All-Giving. They will be greeted with a smiling face by their Lord. They love Allah's creatures with their hearts for Allah. They hear this verse from the heart: (Whoever buys Paradise with their lives and their wealth.) The wealth is Allah's. Those who give Allah's wealth to Allah for Allah's sake, who do not associate partners with Allah, who do not love Allah's creatures more than Allah, and who give back to Allah the wealth that Allah has bestowed upon them, earn Allah's pleasure and buy Paradise because it is in accordance with the purpose for which Allah created it.
(They ask Allah's forgiveness at the time of the dawn) such people do not bring pride and desire into their souls from the good deeds and good deeds and worships they have done. Every time they do good deeds and good deeds and worships, they say that it would have been better if they had done this. In this respect, they constantly see their shortcomings and make repentance to Allah. They pray to their Lord at the time of the Seher: "O our Lord, You have introduced us to You, You have saved us from the darkness, You have placed peace in our hearts, You have honored us with the light of faith, we are helpless, we are in need of You, You are the Lord of the Worlds. Forgive us for the sins we have committed, knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally. They say, "You are our Mawlana" and that is how they are attached to Allah wholeheartedly.
What is said in the video
Let us continue our lesson. What does it say? They are patient. They are truthful, they spend on good, and at the times before dawn they ask Allah's forgiveness.
Those it calls patient are these people of taqwa, the muttaqis.
They are patient. Who? The people of taqwa and the muttaqis. They mind halal and haram.
They hurt no one's heart. They worship their Lord. These are those who surrender their being to Allah; they take precautions and try not to fault what is decreed.
Whatever is decreed, they know that it comes from Allah, and all the afflictions that come from Allah they bear with patience. These are the muttaqis. They do not rebel.
They never complain to Allah. They know that Allah does not load on a person a burden he cannot bear.
Again, they know that whoever loves Allah Almighty much, Allah Almighty loads on them the most affliction.
What was it? Whoever loves Allah much, Allah Almighty loads on him the most affliction.
Can you bear it? He asks once more: can you bear it? Right? He asked you. Can you bear it? Yes.
Earning Allah's pleasure is not easy.
Nor is it for every brave fellow. Those brave fellows put on wrestling breeches and step into the arena. They say: I have become chief wrestler. But when a wrestler steps into the arena and (?), them he puts flat on their backs.
So, to be a wrestler, against your self you must struggle. You will defeat the grandeur of your self. You will be a blind well. You will be content with what comes from your Lord. You will treat people well. Even to those who harm you, them you will remind, and try to convince them in a way that wins their hearts.
Yes. Again, they know that whoever loves Allah Almighty much, Allah Almighty loads on them the most affliction. Because He shows them to people as an example. O so-and-so! In the world you used to say you love Me very much. But tell Me: when a light affliction touched you, look at this state of yours, He will tell you, He will show you there. How you used to rage. And look at the one who loves Allah, He will say. To you: look at the one who loved Allah, living in your time, He will say. I ground him between two millstones, and not only did he never complain, what did he say? Our Lord! You do not load on us a burden we cannot bear.
I am content with everything that comes from You, my Allah, they said. So there, people will not have a single word left to say to Allah Almighty.
Again, they know that whoever loves Allah Almighty much, Allah Almighty loads on them the most affliction. Through the patience of these people of taqwa, to people, these patient friends of Allah Allah Almighty shows as examples. We've written it here anyway. Again, they know that the torment and suffering here is passing, while the hereafter is eternal. The afflictions they meet here in a passing time, for Allah's sake bearing them with patience, they build up the realm of the hereafter.
Here, in the disasters and afflictions that come to a person, Allah Almighty ranks people by their degrees, and according to their conduct and actions, with the sins they have earned, in the hereafter gives them the places they deserve. In a verse, what does He say? Did you think that, before afflictions not seen by those before came upon you, into paradise you would just enter? He says. These people are truthful people, they are siddiqs. Never, on Allah's verses, the prophets, the books, all that comes from Allah, do they compromise. My father came out of a grave, Allah resurrected him. O my father, I missed you.
And if my father tells me something contrary to the religion of Islam, or contrary to the verses, and says let's do it this way, I'll say: no, father, you stop here, I say to him. You stop here. But son, I was gone for 50 years, gone for 60 years, I never got to ease any longing; have I no labour on you, none on you, that you won't do what I say?
Even if you had thousands of years of labour on me, the Allah who created you and me and these worlds, within the life He has granted us, He decreed my sustenance for me. yes, if you have a right over me, my Lord too has over you a right. so that you don't do it this way. You as a servant He created, and I as a servant He created; if we don't do what He says, tomorrow I too, before Allah, to punishment will be subjected. That's why I tell him: you stop here.
Do you have this faith?
If such a thing really happened, could you do this? I would, I'd do it very easily, very easily I'd do it. If I put people, my Lord on one side, and people on the other side; not my father, not my relatives and kin, not my people; even if the Muslims tormented me, in Allah's reckoning I take my place. The torment of this world is passing. But the hereafter's realm is everlasting. If this is the field of the hereafter, here, in ways that win my Lord's pleasure I will act. Yes, such people are siddiqs, they are truthful. Never, on Allah's verses, the prophets, the books, all that comes from Allah, do they compromise.
They do not neglect their worship. They appear as they are and are as they appear. In them lies, showing off, slipperiness, going back on their word, you will not find.
Yes.
They spend on good. Since they know that of worldly wealth they can take nothing to the hereafter, what is beyond their own needs, on Allah's servants they spend. They give charity. Because they know that when charity is given to Allah's needy servants, since Allah is the Rich, what they gave, as a treasure, will come before them both here and in the hereafter. Both here and in the hereafter.
Who buys paradise with their lives and wealth? According to the verse. With their lives the martyrs, with their wealth the generous, those who give charity for Allah, those who carry their wealth to the hereafter, and there their Lord's creation; in the world too their Lord's creation, by giving it to their Lord, again, although in paradise our Lord creates,
selling to our Lord what our Lord created here is also buying paradise.
These people are generous. Yes.
Because they know that when charity is given to Allah's needy servants, since Allah is Rich, what they gave, as a treasure, both here and in the hereafter will come before them. They will be welcomed by their Lord with a smiling face.
They love Allah's creatures for Allah's sake with their hearts. They feel this verse with their soul. Who buys paradise with their lives and wealth. Existence is Allah's. Those who give Allah's wealth to Allah for Allah, who have not associated anyone with Allah, who have not loved Allah's creatures more than Allah, who the wealth Allah Almighty granted them give back to Allah; since it accords with the purpose Allah created it for, they both buy paradise and attain Allah's mercy.
At the times before dawn they ask Allah's forgiveness.
Such people, from the good deeds they have done, from their worship, never bring pride or vanity to their selves. That is, they don't say: I pray five times a day, I pray, well, before dawn, I pray the tahajjud prayer, I worship my Lord. Why don't they say it? Because they think like this: while praying, in their Lord's presence, to Him: Our Lord, for the health and well-being You gave us, for all these blessings You gave us, however much we thank You, even if day and night from prostration we never lifted our foreheads, it would still not count as having worshipped You, my Allah, we say.
They worship with this thought, this understanding.
In every good deed and worship they do, they say: had I done this too, it would have been better. There. That is: I did it this way, but had I done it this way too, it would have been better. So they always see their shortcomings. And they repent and ask Allah's forgiveness. At the times before dawn, praying to their Lord: Our Lord, You made Your Being known to us. You saved us from the darknesses. You settled peace in our hearts. You honoured us with the light of faith. We are helpless. We are in need of Your Being. You are the Lord of the worlds. Forgive us the sins we committed knowingly or unknowingly, without intent. You are our Mawla, they say, and thus from the heart to Allah they bind themselves.
These are also the righteous servants it calls muttaqis. Neither shopping nor trade distracts these from the remembrance of Allah. In every conversation he speaks with measure, speaking of his Lord. Yes.
