Translation

Undoubtedly, in the sight of Allah, Adam, Noah, and the family of Abraham and the family of Imraan are eminent within the worlds.

Tafsir

Allah's remembrance of the names of Prophets Adam and Noah is a reminder to people that our father Adam was a blessed human being, who created him from clay and did not give birth to him from any mother and created him as the beginning of humanity on earth.

The fact that the Prophet Noah destroyed the unbelievers in the water by giving them a flood, and the fact that he mentions the Prophet Adam and Prophet Noah in this Ayat-i Kerime, and that human beings are derived from these two, is actually a declaration that he has made human beings honorable over the worlds. In other words, human beings have been created with honor over other created creatures. (lekad haleknel insane fi ahseni takvim) I have created human beings in the most beautiful form.

The remembrance of the family of Ibrahim and the family of Imran is that Allah (swt) said to Hazrat Ibrahim, "I have made you the Imam of mankind", and Hazrat Ibrahim's supplication to Allah (swt), "O Allah, make my descendants Imams too", and Allah (swt) said, "Those who rebel can never be Imams", and those who are the people of Hazrat Ibrahim (swt) and those who follow the path he followed are honored over the worlds. They are also honored over people. Because Hazrat Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian. He was on the religion of Islam, which is the true religion. In this respect, the people of Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' and those who follow the religion of Islam are honored among the worlds.

The reason why the family of Imran is mentioned in this verse is that Hazrat Maryam gave birth to Hazrat Jesus without a father, as a miracle of Allah, by being given a spirit by Allah. In this respect, the family of Imran is also remembered for these miracles.

What is said in the video

Surah Al Imran, verse 33. Allah Almighty, in the verse: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim İnnallâhestafâ Âdeme ve Nûhan ve âle İbrâhîme ve âle İmrâne ale'l-âlemîn. Truly Allah chose Adam, Noah, the house of Abraham and the family of Imran above the worlds, it says. Yes.

Now let's read our commentary. After the commentary, let's discuss it. Close that. It got cold. It's ice cold. I'll get unwell here. I'll get sick. Yes. Close it. There is energy up there. He'll close it. Okay.

Allah Almighty's mentioning the names of the prophets Adam and Noah: creating our father Adam from clay, bringing him into being from no mother and creating him as the beginning of mankind on earth, Allah Almighty, our father Adam being a blessed person, makes people remember; and the prophet Noah — sending a flood upon those who did not believe, destroying them in the water, and after the flood bringing Noah safe and sound to safety, and mankind descending again from him, He makes him remembered by the worlds as well. That is, just as mankind descended from Adam, after Noah people descended again too.

He brings that to mind too. In bringing to mind the house of Abraham and the family of Imran: Allah Almighty saying to Abraham, 'I have made you an imam for people', Abraham's plea to Allah Almighty, 'O Allah, make my descendants imams too', and since the prophets are a single lineage descending one from another, Allah Almighty made the prophets who came after this, above people, chosen ones.

As I explained in earlier lessons, Allah Almighty created His Beloved, the Prophet Muhammad, from His light, then gave him of His spirit, and by creating the prophets' souls (?), these, descending one from another, have become a (?). Sending His Beloved, whom He created first, to the world as the last of the prophets, is to send him as a mercy to the worlds, to increase his honor and glory, to make him a witness over all prophets, and for him to be exalted as founder of the religion of Islam until the Day of Judgment — that is the purpose. The Maqam Mahmud, which people cannot even imagine, was offered to him.

As for His mentioning the family of Imran: it is that Mary, as a miracle of Allah, being given a spirit by Allah, gave birth to Jesus without a father. That is why the family of Imran is also mentioned, because of these miracles. He mentions these. Now, here, the outward meaning is this.

A cultural knowledge that people would know. Cultural. Outward. Now, here, if Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes, so that this is well understood, in detail to you we will explain it. In detail.

There's probably no mistake in what we read. Why? We say they are mentioned. Our father Adam, created without a father, with all people coming from him, Noah, with his flood, all people coming after him, the family of Imran, the family of Imran, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) being created, in this case, are there not those in these families who chose unbelief?

There are. Then how are they made chosen? Now, this was outward knowledge. That is, people know it this way. It is known like this; since we write for the general public, this — for the public, it is useful for the public to know it this way. Because going deeper requires a lot of knowledge. If that knowledge does not come together, a person ends up in unbelief. Of the whole meaning here, the secret of its core: all prophets are the fathers of their peoples, their elders. And the souls of their peoples are from them. The souls of their peoples are from them. Because they are from them, Allah Almighty — not the peoples of these prophets He praised, but those who obey Allah and obey their prophets — makes distinguished above the worlds. Just as He says to the Jewish people too: 'We have made you, above the worlds, distinguished' — it's the same meaning.

By being created as human, above the worlds as distinguished people were created. The Jewish people understand it as themselves. Allah Almighty never discriminates among His creatures. If He did, He would take on an attribute. For Allah created them all. And the souls are created from His being. Therefore, the souls He created, separating them from His being, in no way did Allah Almighty create one above another, above another. Since this world is like the hereafter — the children from a father's loins, would that father hold one child above another? If he knows right and justice, he must not; those who uphold right and justice exist. We are speaking of Allah, who is flawless, free of deficient attributes.

Allah Almighty certainly does not discriminate. They ask the Prophet (peace be upon him): whom do they call a wrongdoer? He says: a father who discriminates among his children is a wrongdoer too. So in this case Allah Almighty does not create the people He created one above another as chosen. In the first meaning, since all generations come from their lineages, His creating all people distinguished above the worlds — that is the meaning. All people. Second, since the prophets are the elders of their peoples, above their peoples they are distinguished. Over their peoples. This is how we must understand the real meaning here.

I think it's understood. Yes.
